It’s bound to come back at some point. I can’t say for sure what form it’ll take, but Dragon Ball is too much of a cash cow for Toei, Shueisha, or anyone else involved to leave it alone permanently.

If I had to pick a time for it to return, I’d say somewhere during 2026 or 2027. That gives plenty of time for Daima to finish without fully losing out on the franchise hype it generates.

It's basically semi confirmed that it will return at some point. They're just waiting for the Manga to get further ahead so they won't run out of stuff to animate too quickly. I would hope it's seasonal to increase the animation quality, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was weekly like before.

Toyotarou.
He was the one drawing Super to begin with, while Toriyama wrote the story and supervised.

I would say yes because Dragon Ball content sells, but that doesn't explain why we haven't seen it comeback since (almost 7 years is crazy).

Maybe they are waiting for the manga to finish.

Dragon Ball makes big money. Even GT would be rebooted if only they had the chance. Exaggerating, of course.

But yeah, it may be a matter of time for Super.
