Oh so they did go for a big action packed episode for the season finale. If anything, we see true courage coming from Kana in this episode. She's really learend so much in her personal journey to get where she is now.

Looked like hell in the city but together, they fought like champs. It was overall alright show for me. I think when it comes down to storytelling, it worked for its premise even though some of the episodes were strange. This season finale had a somewhat Hollywood vibe to it.

Season 2 confirmed

The Blaze-Type Kaii mutation proving a challenge for the Magical Girls, and even Kana feels restrained having to solo this one to save Akane's skin, much less Koshigaya giving it her all with her usual power, Knowledge is power, but Koshigata would have to wait for a counter plan with Kana's help to establish just enough data, and the nick of time to save the distressed Kana having to fight and protect Akane at the same time.

The solo vs. teamwork aspect defines the difference of how much Magical Girls can harness their individual powers vs. working them altogether for a much more powerful strategy and attack, even despite the growing magnitude of the Kaii's mutation, and through the thick and thin of the power of friendship in a team dynamic. The month-long expedition in Magilumiere certainly has taught Kana a lot of things, though for the things to come, would be just as fundamental and more important than ever.

For a Mahou Shoujo show focusing on the topic of corporate management, I've gotta admit that as average (but beautiful) as the anime looks, it defintely stands out from the usual Mahou Shoujo feat. It takes time for a work like this to get its legs moving with seemingly plot placed but not having importance until late in the game.

And we don't have to wait long, because Season 2 has been announced, which will focus on the main story: the Kaii Calamity.

Great teamwork, everyone! That was a cool fight.

Akane was a good addition to the show.

Overall, an entertaining first season. I'm already waiting for the second one.

If I were to have to describe the situation, I'd probably have to describe it as a team of mostly lower-level members, with just one max-level unit. The enemy matches the average level of the entire party, and bosses are as strong as the highest-level member. Because of this, the low-level members can’t handle normal enemies, and the max level unit struggles to defeat the boss alone. If things keep going this way, it’s going to get even tougher. This boss wasn’t easy either, three mahou shoujo were needed to handle it.

I did really wanted to see Akane’s flower strike, but it might’ve messed up the balance with the other two. Her swords were pretty cool to see nonetheless though. Didn’t expect that. In the end, though they beat the boss, and all’s good. On top of everything, from this experience, Sakuragi probably got a new buddy. Also, seeing the Prez in a suit instead of his usual Sunday best shows how serious things are. And when you add the ominous war room roundtable, it’s clear things are about to get intense...

... IN THE NEXT SEASON WOOOO. Really glad to see this getting a sequel of all things. Didn't expect it too, but hey, will gladly take it.

This was nice i enjoyed every second of this anime.
Leave it up to the mahou shoujo genre to come up with something new and surprising.
This set up was pretty unique with a funny staff but still having it's serious moments i also thought the characters were really likable.
From the abstract owner to the rough Hitomi it was a nice mix.
I wonder what the second season will give us seeing the ending.

Best magical girl show of the year just ended. Luckily, we won’t have long to wait for more because s2 is next year! Great finale. They saved the biggest challenge of the season for the finale for Hitomi, Akane and Kana and just like Hitomi, I felt like a proud parent watching Kana’s leadership skills on display in the big battle.

It’s so dope that Kana became to Akane what Hitomi was to her initially. The student becomes the teacher essentially. Beyond happy for how far she’s come since the start of the season. That scene where she’s blocking the kaii blast to protect Akane was a nice callback to episode 1, but the shield breaking is kind of like the author saying Kana’s on the right path, but still has a long way to go.

This is just really how you do a finale. Back and forth action with the girls having to try new techniques, working with Nikoyama in the situation room and ultimately taking out the Kaii with a unified spell. Their greatest strength is their trust in one another and that shone through. It’s really a shame Akane was only on a temporary work exchange because she would be a great permanent cast member!

Love a nice montage to wrap things up, looks like Akane and Kana ended up getting really close over the last month :/ I’m gonna miss these girls so much can’t wait to check out season 2 and the manga.

I really enjoyed 'Magical Girls meeting Capitalism' show.

As someone who is working in a big company offering remote support this show really hit close to home.

It is not dramatic or epic but it doesn't need to be. It was very satisfying to see Sakuragi growing as mere intern who was unsure in herself.

Other members of the cast were great, especially Kasuragi.

I am glad this show is getting season 2, the story is goin toward interesting development and I wish to see where it will eventually end.

8.5/10 for me, definitely worth a watch.

Pretty good, though I feel like the fact that none of these kaii are seemingly mobile/move large distances is directly correlated to the author's idea of the unique magical girl/engineer partnership and how long it can take to come up with answers and spells, sometimes many minutes required. It would a bit ridiculous hearing "just give me five more minutes" as a massive kaii is escaping and causing havoc/taking lives, even with the already implanted basic spells they have on hand. It was a really cool magic system though. Hopefully we have mobile creatures next season. 7/10.

That was some really good teamwork in order to defeat that kaii.
I'm glad we are getting a 2nd season.
I want to learn about what happened between Kouji & Kei 15 years ago.
Judging by the picture of the female in Kouji's house, my only guess is someone really close to them died during that time which created the rift between them.

7/10
I have ADD, ADHD & AUTISM, but this won't stop me. Let's keep having fun together.

this anime did the bare minimum to keep me entertained. this was an OL show disguised as magical girls, and not the other way around sadly.
the characters were generic, the animation was acceptable. it was okay with nothing captivating.

I think that was a very strong final episode, looking forward to season 2. I thought we might see some of the other magical girls show up in this finale but that unfortunately didn't happen. Hopefully they appear in the next season though.

Okay characters and an excellent setting executed to the bare minimum. We clearly have a whole thing building with the boss' past and rival ideologies versus the mutations, but I don't really believe this is going to be able to deliver on a strong, serious plot. Will still probably watch the next season.

It felt like the way this final boss was defeated could have used more ingenuity, considering how over-mutated it seemed. And the emphasis on gathering field intelligence—supposedly a key part of their aesthetic—didn't feel as important as expected. Kana just said, without any need for buildup or deliberation, 'Amplify my last spell to the max,' and that was it. It all felt a bit too straightforward.

Imagine this, you take magical girls and turn them into a corporate business. This anime embodies this, and it does it well.

I'm excited about the second season since the plot seems more serious with the end-credit scene hinting at that.

I surprisingly really enjoyed this anime! I think Kana is a really nice character and really cute too while we are at it, and the rest of the cast is very fun as well. I appreciated the good animation and fights too! I hope it keeps up that way for S2, looking forward to it definitely
