Dat barrier. 18. 17 stops playing. 17 fucks up Bikal and sends her flying out. 17 is standing on the light bulb. Kakunsa gets blasted out. 39 minutes left. Dat ending. |

| I could be watching Heartcatch Precure right now. I could absolutely be enjoying that amazing Yoshihiko Umakoshi character design, along with that absolutely inspired animation. For what it's worth, 17's deadpan antics in this episode gave me joy. Thank you so much for attack during that transformation sequence. Anyways, ever since the Tournament of Power started, DBS's visuals have definitely gotten better, so I can actually tell what's going on. This surprised me, as due to the battle royale nature of the tournament, I expected it to be chaotic and incomprehensible. I think DBS's problem is having ideas for fights, but having issues setting up situations to have those character interactions happen. |

| My worst fears have been realized, it’s finally time for Ribrianne to go big mode and meme the competition lol. But to my surprise, it actually was a fun episode minus the several reused animations, I’m looking at you Universe 2 God of Destruction, and there was also redoing the entire transformation sequence just for a joke, 17 was honestly my GOAT there lol, bro saw an opportunity and took it, but then got yelled at for it, I’m sorry but I thought everyone’s lives are on the line? Nah but let’s fuck around and let Universe 2 go off. And I also wanted to mention this is absolutely the type of episode your parents would walk in on, I know it’s a parody of Magical Girl anime but try explaining that lol. And thankfully the other two “magical girls” didn’t become vastly inferior when they transformed, Kakunsa actually looks really cool and Roasie looks cute still, the way magical girls are supposed to look lol. But despite the fact that I like the other two, Universe 2 drawing attention to themselves means they won’t be around much longer, and the first to go down was of course my favorite of the three, Kakunsa, as well as the flyer on their team, but not before they had a yuri moment together lol. I did quite like the fight between 17 and Kakunsa tho, looked pretty good and the English VA for Kakunsa was going off, and 17 being badass is never not awesome. Definitely among my favorite fights of the tournament so far, just a shame we won’t be seeing more Kakunsa and are stuck with Ribrianne lol, we still have Roasie at least. |

The magical girl team and the commentary about them was all very annoying. They basically took over the whole episode. |

Dude what?! Heck yeah, just throw them out of the ring while they power up! This arc switched from team tactics/battle royale strategy back to honorable one-on-one code. So bizarre. The magical girl team and the commentary about them was all very annoying. They basically took over the whole episode.
| @satyrelfheim It was funny, but like someone said, this whole thing never felt like fight for survival for any of them. All characters are way too cheery and posing around like morons, world building is pointless for them all. |
