| Wow, this season finale felt more like a celebration of the show itself than just the plot. It looked beautiful but also represents how the cast has embraced their love for magic. They made the meteor shower look like art. Felt like this episode gave the cast especially Yuzu what being a wizard is all about. Can't ask for more than a fitting season finale imo. |

| The animation this episode was gorgeous the whole time, this show alongside Acro Trip made the season super comfy and that was a beautiful last message of Kurumi accepting and loving herself, the revelation that she actually approved the exam was also a nice surprise, there is still plenty of mysteries and questions and then that cliffhanger at the end but it was a lovely final episode.. I'm going to miss Maki's optimism and energy, Yuzu's determination and the Presidents passion. |

| This finale was gorgeous the animation was just perfect. So happy to see that Yuzu managed to pass the Exam and for Kurumi being able to be who she wants to be. The cliffhanger at the end was very interesting I hope we won't have to wait long for a second season. |
| This is one of JC staff’s best ever productions, not necessarily anime overall, but artistically this was mesmerising. I loved the girls, the art and the world had this whimsical fairy tale vibe to it, but the story ultimately fell pretty flat. Found the whole ancient magic/modern magic divide to be meh at best. The artistic values of this series are where it shined. One of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen. I’m going to miss Yuzu, Kurumi and the others a lot though. It was such a relaxing time! Yuzu and Kurumi finally unleashing ancient magic together was a beautiful scene. Proud of how far both of them have come and in that moment they surpassed any of the so called elite students of the Magumi, no test needed. Northern’s dumbass plan failed, but he’s plotting something else? IIRC this was anime original so maybe we’ll get a companion manga that expands on what his “secret scheme” is. Other than that the Rettoran festival was really nice to see. Everything kind of coming full circle in this final episode, and it’s fittingly the most beautiful of the bunch. I mean it looked gorgeous throughout, but today was special. Respect to Kurumi for not taking the Magumi test and being content with things as they are. The whole classist system at the school is dumb. Everyone should just learn together and magic should be for everyone as it’s a natural resource. Yuzu taking the exam and using Lemone’s flower as a good luck charm was too cute though, her development was great in this show. Still some questions I have like who the original magician Kurumi saw was, still a little confused on who Kurumi’s grandma is too, Northern’s new plan and seeing Yuzu in a magumi uniform 😡 but this was a nice finale for a really cute watch. |

I think the original magician was Minami-sensei. She probably found a way to alter her appearance to stay low for some time. And Kurumi's grandma is definitely Hazel, we can see in the flashback that Hoota was there when Kurumi was a little child. Hoota was also Hazel's pet so it makes sense that he's been around them for a while. Ahhhhhhh ok it was a bit confusing but I can see that. That explains why hazel called her a different name |

| Kurumi & Yuzu took care of that problem pretty quickly and save Rettoran and everyone else. Turns out Northern is still up to no good though. I like how they all worked together for the festival, that was fun to watch them make food that way. Looks like dog girl got taken away at the end. Good anime that I enjoyed from start to finish. 7/10 |

| In the end, drawing the 4 patterns as always was the solution and the episode was more centered around setting what was coming next rather than explaining much of the loose end. In other words, this ended up being a disappointment. Coming from the start what brought me in was not only the art style but the bright colors chosen. It was like seeing a series for the first time in light mode, so to speak, and it fit the tone well with how the characters behaved and their respective positivity. The cast was expressive and the magic system was given a few episodes to explains its fundamentals, making me wonder what patterns could come out of it and whether logic behind it would be analysed or questioned afterwards. Well, that didn't end up being the case. With the cast after a few episodes it was clear that Yuzu and Kurumi were the only relevant characters. One could make an argument for Maki for emotional support but the rest were either one dimensional or annoying (I'm looking at you Lemone) so it was not a surprise when they started to make less appearances. Also, Yuzu and Kurumi's relationship changed drastically from one episode to the next making the former take the initiative to become closer so much so that shipping theories were understandably being cooked up. This was a development that was clearly rushed and while by the end could be forgiven at the time it felt strange to watch. Then there's the rest of the cast like the MARC representatives who didn't even have a name, Kurumi's sister whose origin was never explained, the nurse that turned into a cat something that also wasn't touched upon nor questioned, and the mage from the intro sequence. My guess is that all of those were set up to be explained in a sequel that will probably never come out instead of giving us enough information to theorize in a way that wouldn't ruin their image. Basically, the pacing was the worst part of the show, something that was the vein of episodes like the race or the sauna one. If you're able to ignore the flaws in story progression and want a show that just looks pretty and has both decent opening and ending songs, this might be for you. Although one could also look at the Precure series for a less flawed execution. |

| Despite my earlier apprehensions, this anime ended well. It's just that, there are many ingredients that were left uncooked and we probably won't see a season 2. It could have been better. |

| A very predictable finale, who've thought they would solve the issue at hand? Anyway, the art style and animation are the best part of the anime, and the story is the worst. I'm very confused about why they kept the teacher who stole the energy from the standard students, and then said that there's a secret plan developing. Are you not gonna kick him out? I'm down for second chances but I don't think this is one of them. |

| Kurumi should have went with Minami on the trip. I'm sure she would have learned more ancient magic if she went along. And it was a surprise... Kurumi actually passed for the Magumi, but sensei messed around the results, so Kurumi ended up in Standard. why a cliffhanger near the end? Possible season 2? anyway.... score is 7/10. I enjoyed watching this. |
