| Welp, they need Jill's powers more than ever now. This show wanted to keep Hadis out of the picture for now with the recent betrayal. It looks like the Black Dragon only sees those who are worthy under its eyes. Jill had to prove herself just like she always has to. |

| Holy shit. A ton of action and reveals in this one! I wonder how they’re gonna wrap up everything next week, definitely have their job cut out for them. “A woman who risks her life and a dragon who does nothing you already know who will win.” Jill taming the black dragon and literally knocking some sense into her was great. In a way, they both have a lot in common since Jill as a soldier was loyal to a fault and never strayed from her duty. So the black dragon keeping watch over the golden eyed dragon egg for so long had to resonate with her a bit. But naming the dragon “steak” is CRAZY lmao Black dragon calling in Brynhild and the others was very clutch for the ambush to save Hadis Speaking of which holy shit, that ending was wild. Jill vs Elentzia looked ass, but as I thought, Elentzia was just playing both sides trying to help Hadis escape. Considering what we learnt about Hadis’ birth, preventing societal collapse and unrest is important. But I’m confused af tho because if Hadis’ mom had him out of wedlock making him not related to the king, why did Risteard say something to the effect of “we’ve lied about being the royal family for centuries” wouldn’t that just affect Hadis, so where’s the “we”? Regardless, uncle needs his ass beat next week and I can’t wait to see it |

| Okay. So the sword is made of the spear. Golden eye'd black dragon is egg and fed by the heart of dragon emperor. Jill earned black dragon's favor. Nobody is actually related to Hadis, but that doesn't really matter!!!! (Hadis dreams of family coming together) I'm confused on what the eggshell did? Did it give her magic? Did it overpower the goddess's attack? The egg doing golden blinks to talk was adorable!!! Hadis has potential for evil, uncle is just evil. |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |
| That was a fun twist, so the whole royal family is fake and rotten, so Elentzia was playing both sides, she wants to help Hadis escape but she also wants to protect the whole royal family if the truth were be to be found, loved the scene of naming that dragon "Steak" and that long pause for a "No" and the egg throwing a tantrum haha. |

If the document is true and the others are not related to him, then it can only be they who are not true descendants of the imperial family. Right him being emperor was never in doubt… that’s why I’m saying that convo made no sense because the uncle says that’s not his brother child. Unless is it inherited thru the mother? They’re unclear on who the actual royal is And where are the centuries coming from? Is someone hundreds of years old or what |

| Jill did a great job getting that black dragon on her side, that was no easy task. Plenty of questions and mysteries around Hadis birth and his family. Looking forward to the last episode. |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |

AgentDuck said: @Marinate1016 None of the family has been a proper dragon emperor with the power that comes with it for many years, which is why the country is falling into decline, however Hadis is a proper dragon emperor who can see rave etc, that means at some point the imperial line was usurped in the past, and the current imperial house isn't valid. It sounds like the family of whoever the guard was who had the affair with hadis mother is was actually related to the real imperial line. Ok that makes a lot more sense actually |

| The egg getting frustrated was funny. Do we know why he hasn't hatched yet? Other than the egg being a late bloomer? I have a lot of unanswered questions. Why did the black dragon decide to accept Jill? Because the egg reacted to her, right? Steak is such a stupid ahh name lmao I feel like they're trying to speedrun through the first season. Its very disappointing because I really like this anime. I still hope it gets a second season though. |

| Despite being saved by a dragon, Jill getting herself roasted by the same dragon isn't helping things, as much as Zeke, Camila, Lawrence and Risteard are safe in hiding for the moment. At least Jill now knows that her magic being sealed is one catalyst, though Hadis throwing a fit for the destruction of the world will be the end game if things aren't resolved. And that's where both her and the black dragon have a common understanding, not just from the unhatched egg, but being of pride and loyalty as fellow dragons. With the counterattack alongside the dragons and Risteard's return of his own dragon Brynhild, Jill and the others make haste for Elentzia's consort, though this is quickly stopped by their uncle proving that Hadis wasn't part of the Rave imperial family line, though it was clearly an attempt to protect his own and disregard the true family under the Dragon Emperor. It's do-or-die attempt between the fake uncle with the Heavenly Sword and the Dragon Emperor now. |
