| Ye expected Michael and Sawatari to do better than Kanata but Moroboshi didn't do as well as expected ranking only 8th. Kanata saved Ren and yo romance is blooming. Kanata is developing feelings and wants to protect her. But no Kanata's hand, fuck. He doesn't regret his decision though, like ofc. |

| Minor OP update! Kanata noticing the Alpine's paddle shifters foreshadowed his eventual elbow injury impeding his ability to properly shift gears. Sawatari and Beckenbauer both beat his new course record, which means all three European-trained drivers beat Keisuke's demo time. Sena, Keisuke's street racing successor in the yellow Supra still made an quite a debut in 7th nonetheless. Anemic Ren is devastated seeing the charm of Kanata's fellow driver Kitahara gave him. cool to see Wataru return Eurobeat in this episode (excluding recap) Freedom Ride by The Snake, previously featured in InitialD Arcade Stage 7 AAX Eurohero by Neo, previously featured on InitialD Battle Stage 3 Firebird by Dreamfighters |

| Okay, so I'm genuinely confused now. We only have one more episode, but the race is only about to begin. We have a race qualifier cliffhanger for season 1, racing cliffhanger is going to be wild. The race usually takes around 5 episodes which is about 100 minutes total without the OP and ED. It's very unlikely but I hope they're crazy enough to make this final episode and race into a +100 minutes special. |

| Pretty hype qualifying rounds. Nice detail on stick shifts being slightly slower because you need take your hand off the wheel (as a carless poor normie I thought pedal shifters were more of a comfort pic). I genuinely laughed on the reason why the BMW guy drove M6 "M6 has a fat ass so when I make a good qualifying people cant overtake me". Lmao no wonder bro got flabbergasted when overtaken in a corner by a drifting Kanata :D Anyway please someone find a girl for our mangaka. Female characters were already poorlt written in Initial D, but Ren fainting over Kanata already having a talisman from someone else and nearly dying is on another level. At this point I'm starting to believe Iketani is his self insert π |

| The time that Kanata set proved to be tough for Sawatari to beat, hence his expression afterwards. Beckenbauer did what he always does with precision and got 1st again. As for Sena, his declaration of European driving schools to be trash was a bold claim, but he did well to qualify 8th overall for his first race of the MFG series. Sadly, thing only went downhill from there. A combination of poor choices of words from Kanata and poor choice of actions from Ren led to them having a squabble, which then led to Ren suffering from anemia before falling in front of a train. Kanata sprung into action and was able to save her just in time. His actions was rather brave and should be applauded. However, the train did brush his elbow, leaving it injured. It wouldn't be as much of a problem if he had a car with a DCT/automatic gearbox, but his GT86 is a manual, so injuring his left arm which operates the gearbox is going to compromise him badly for the upcoming race. =( |

| Kanata now being the speed demon of the Manazuru Peninsula, and then with Sawatari breaking that by 2/10s of a second, damn, this race is beginning to grow on me being the most competitive race yet that's down to transmission between a paddle and H-shifter. Yanagida changing his rather large M6 to a smaller M4 for a better overall tactic, that's a smart move that he can't falter anymore to keep pace with the rest. But of all things good, Ren is unfortunately not doing so hard on her studies while balancing her crush life with Kanata. However, it's Sena with the same yellow GR Spura (that's the inspiration from the FD) that carries the legacy of Keisuke Takahashi into Dream Project, scoring in 7th that gets me the most. To add to the insanity, Beckenbauer showing his chops by doing the same he's always been, and now there's 3 racers effectively beating out Keisuke's original time. What a fierce fight to provisional pole. Welp, Ren falling behind on the romance game with the charm given to Kanata by Nozomi, and there's a clear gap between the both of them to a level of misunderstanding, before matters were worse with Ren being anemic to fall to the tracks and Kanata saving her in the nick of time. This emotionality equivalent would be the downfall to Kanata's race since his elbow got injured in the process, and without a good working arm, how would he excel in this tight race? |

It's rather commendable that she tries so hard to ace her exams so that she doesn't have the need to blame her part-time job or Kanata for her grade if she were to have to retake her exams. However, that plan backfired hard when she got overly jealous at a mere fucking amulet without letting Kanata speak. Moreover, Ren absolutely did fucked up by getting her pathetic weak body of her to be affected by stress and anaemia in the worst place possible, leading to her dumbass to fall right on the train track. Bitch out here is a fucking menace to our boy Kanata Rivington. She almost got herself and him killed! Even if they both survived, she straight up applied a stacked debuff on the man for his next race. My boy has to drive with a stock 6-speed stick with an injured arm, a stock transmission, and a good but incomparably small 300HP against other racers who have started to upgrade their cars entirely. This shit reminded me of Intial D's romance, IF you can even call it that. Man, what a clusterfuck of a situation. YO Fuck the Angels and Fuck this subplot on a non-racer high school girl crush story. They could all disintegrate under the tarmac. |

@shudrumik I'm with you. I'm so over her. She acts like a 5 year old, forget about a high school girl. They're not even remotely dating or romantically involved. He doesn't owe her anything. And now her nonsense, nearly got her killed and screwed up Kanata's race. Way to go Ren.

Her working in an adult job as a 17-year-old girl is ridiculous. She has no reason to be in this kind of show. Why can't they just be satisfied with Nozomi Kitahara and Kanata, simple. There is no need to add an annoying teenage girl who will act like a teenage girl that screws up a lot of things. Shun needs to stop going after number 7 (Ren) and look at Kyouko Kurihara, how is a hot woman like that not get any attraction but stupid Ren does? Ren got to go period. |
