| The crew breaks through Fish-Man Island's bubble but gets separated. Luffy, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper wake up in Camie's apartment and learn about the island's culture. The New Fish-Man Pirates' leader orders his crew to capture them. |

| I still think it's so funny how Oda made such a silly plotline into an important dramatic part of the arc that sets up the whole Fishman blood transfusion stuff lol Another great looking episode for this remaster |
It's been so long since I watched this arc that I didn't even remember this scene 😂 Very sad to know that Kazuki Yao will no longer be the voice of Franky in One Piece ;/ Perhaps during this arc these are the last moments in which we can still hear Kazuki Yao's iconic voice... NOT SUPEEEER 😭👎  |

| I'm realizing just how many moments I forgot happened in this arc, this is a nice refresh. Tempted to re-read Whole Cake Island just for some good Sanji character moments, but thankfully the worst is over for him after this episode. |

| Ah yes, I remember the Sanji being in need of a transfusion part being a tie in to the discrimination after of the town. Sometimes is a wonder how Oda manages to pull such serious from the most bizarre of situations. |

| Gotta love the afraid Chopper behind Luffy We finally enter Fishman Island! Oh, I totally forgot about the 5 little mermaids, the Medaka Mermaid quintuplets. They have the same naming convention as a certain other person's siblings. Looking at the Straw Hats in casual clothes is kinda strange. But the clothing brand is recognizable. Love how Sanji refers to the Straw Hats. Zoro still gets angry in his thoughts. Gotta love Camie too. Here we go with Sanji's bs in this arc. Ah yes, the Beverly, no scratch that, Fishverly Hills. So she suggests that there is some sort of discrimination on blood on Fishman Island. I forgot a lot of things about this arc. At least Usopp isn't simping. I dislike the fact that Sanji is crying harder than when he left Baratie, as its one of my favorite scenes in the story, and mocking the All Blue too. But I do understand that its all just a joke. They have definitely gotten better with the transitions in this re-edited versions now. They are not jarring at all as they were in the first few episodes. Jinbe is reintroduced finally! The right OST too! The setup with Chopper is done too. Usopp is shocked that he knows so many Warlords, understandable considering where they came from. The Medaka sisters definitely get a little annoying after a while. The princes are introduced too now. Holy. Isnt that too much blood for One Piece on boobs? S Rh- Interesting. The worldbuilding continues. Love Luffy for being real. We get introduced to the themes of Fishman Island already. The power of great pacing is too much. That was a weird effect with Luffy, but I guess we don't really have a definite answer as to what type of Haki tames beasts. Camie being so real too, stealing the damn princes' ship for her mates. The Jinbe message. I totally forgot what that was too. Overall, another great episode! |
