| Kind of an interesting background story although beside Alicia and Duke, it feels hard to get invested into any others. Eyepatches really seems to be a thing in this show... Alicia's maturity since her training is evident in this episode but she's still the same Alicia. The tease though. Duke just knows how to get Alicia's attention lol |

| The usual backstory stuff for Will but the king now seems like a dumbass. Far from what I thought of him when he first appeared. Also the usual Liz bs, the girls weren't even trying this time lol. Poor Duke though. |

| No surprise that Will was framed, evil stepmother at it's worst. These students never learn, they keep trying to set up Alicia and it always backfires on them. Still interested as to how Liz's power works, it possibly reverses their feelings towards her. Duke has had Mel helping him with Raona for quite a while now, no surprise he even knows about Will. Funny moment at the end there, he got a headbutt lol. |

| "ill be borrowing alicia" *pop* :D what was with that sudden wall slam and whatever. duke doesnt want alicia to talk about that wolf place whatever? he also accidentally revealed something. alicia asked about will's friends and duke responed by saying that alicia shouldnt have to worry about the wolf place (:D) there is something really off about what liz is doing. still dont know if she is intentionally doing that or not. though it was really weird with the three girls how they sayed they dislike commoners but that they will follow liz from now on. i might be blind but i feel like parts of this episode looked worse than previous eps. |

| Alicia has gotten pretty good as a villain but she will always be a softie when it comes to the town, Duke gonna Duke but that was a great way to stop him by Alicia. |
| So glad this show is finally firmly above a 7! Will twist last week really shocked the hell out of me. Getting his backstory today was great, but he a much better man than I because I would be wishing for nothing but the downfall of the kingdom after I got randomly accused of a crime and then having your eyes gouged out?? No trial?? Banished to some village in the middle of nowhere with nothing but poverty and suffering? I mean that’s more than most villains origin stories and yet Will remains loyal to his brother and kingdom. Dude deserves the world and I hope they find some sort of spell to get both his eyes back. And fuck the mom! I’m guessing because she was a commoner who birthed the new king she wanted him fully in control and getting all the glory, but Luke should’ve been smarter and realised they had too good a thing going to switch up. Another week, another incident of loser girls trying to blame Alicia for some shit she didn’t do 😂 how you gon get mad because Alicia don’t wanna get involved in your name calling contest and sneak dissing. The fact Liz even remotely considered it knowing the type of person Alicia is, was .. interesting to say the least. Again we see Liz using her power to hypnotise people and at this point I’m 99.99 percent sure it’s intentional. Or at least a manifestation of her desires But this Laval plot line.. they didn’t bring up Will’s mages for nothing.. could he actually be plotting revenge along with the Laval mages and maybe even Duke? I feel like a twist is gonna come and I wouldn’t blame Will at all. Glad Alicia headbutted that nonce, Duke. Hate that dude so much man 😭 creepy weirdo |

Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

What the actual hell was that ending? Duke gained a lot of creepy points seemingly out of nowhere.

| @SawronZXZ I never said Liz is innocent though she is influcing them but I think it's out of her control. And just like you said if anyone doesn't like her she projects that aura that makes others same way as her. So they are doing the dirty works for her. I don't think she reincarnated. As Alicia said previously the games heroine was always unrealistic and sprouted unrealistic nonsense and Liz is that representation. |
| So, in the previous episode, they built up the suspense by revealing Uncle Will as the King's older brother. But near the end of this episode, they watered it down by showing that the Prince knew all along. I don't like it—it feels disappointing. |

| things are moving along, and i think the current king's mother possess the same kinda power liz has since luke's mother was a commoner who gave birth in the castle without marrying the king, right? i even wonder if the current king is of actual royal blood instead of just by means of being born inside the castle. anyway, when will alicia figure out that liz is emitting the bad nega vibes affecting those idiots around her? |

| I still wonder why Duke, Finn (yellow hair), and Curtis (green hair) don't get affected by Liz. Does that mean they're the only ones logical enough to doubt Liz from the High Noble group? We have 3 episodes left. I don't think all of the plots will be resolved, so hopefully the anime is popular enough to get 2nd season. |

| Grandpa Will's revelation is great, then again the quarrel is a waste of time, only that it shows Liz mind controls them, whether consciously or not. There's a revelation of the Laval subplot, and it seems 3 more episodes won't be enough to wrap things up. :( This needs a season 2. |
| It's a shame about Will. Despite making a mistake and losing his title as Crown Prince, he agreed to let his brother be the next king; and acted as his advisor, to support him and yet he was betrayed, all because of his horrible stepmother. Even King Luke is not innocent and now looks like an idiot. Now it's clear that Liz's feelings carry over to everyone else. |

| Will’s story was pretty upsetting, bro got blinded and banished to that shitty village all because of the king’s mom, and his last reaction with the king wasn’t a good one either, but it’s good the king himself wasn’t part of it tho, hopefully Will can reconcile with him eventually. And back at the school we got more haughty babes trying to pick at Alicia, but I gotta say the attempt this time was pathetic lol, Alicia herself said so, they didn’t even use any magic to conceal the truth or anything, just straight up lying, but they quickly got put in their place partly thanks to Liz since she was quick to believe Alicia, and then we once again got to see her power at play when that group of girls were put under her influence, even if they were bitches it’s a bit sad to see, that’s another bunch that aren’t free to think how they wanna think. And near the end of this one we got teased on an upcoming plot with wolves, not sure what’s going on there but Duke got another moment with Alicia at least, he came on a bit too hard there but Alicia wasn’t about to get chained down like he suggested lol, maybe next time Duke. |
| I love how we got more backstory about grandpa Will this episode, it definitely cleared up a lot of things. I hope him talking to the king and apologising will help his country save from the poverty they are facing right now. Also, if I didn’t trust the Liz already than I definitely don’t trust her now. She’s up to something and I definitely want to know what |
| More and more people are starting to realize how evil Liz is. The girls' eye colors left once Liz took control of them. Also they realize Liz is a commoner, right? I guess in this case Jill would be the commoner everyone is referring to. The Alicia and Duke scene has so cute omggggggg that was so good |

I agree with Ali et al, that was a very boring conflict, sure she expected a lot better. edit: if true, JUSTICE FOR WILL!!!! I always assumed he never did anything wrong. |

| Storytime with Grandpa Will, the older brother of the current King Luke, it's indeed quite the boring story between the brothers, but the drama between them both certainly has its disparages, until the moment of exile by Will being framed, lost an eye and tossed into Roana Village, deemed too excessive to be controlled even by his magic. And while technically there isn't any record of his wrongdoings, Will could go back and give his apology to his brother if he wanted to, genuinely and to the point. But the journey to school the next day with more students incoming to side her, it's just the same rhetoric by going to the wrong person for help. Once again, there's drama in school, and both Duke and Mel asking for her favour...to face the same framing situation again, it's just getting boring for Alicia, much less for those trying to indite her against Liz. And every challenge like this only excites Alicia to disprove Liz's followers wrong, and as such, the breaking point comes when she cannot handle it anymore. Though the plot itself is following along, it's not the top of the iceberg for Alicia wanting to do better, and more than Duke knowing about Will and the situation in Roana Village, him giving her a kabedon to relief her, with Alicia's headbutt in tow, these two are just tangled in love in weird ways. The expectation to see Duke and Alicia together is just killing me... |

| Will got blinded, beaten and exiled because of the unsubstantiated fears and schemes of someone else. If Duke has supposedly been in contact with him for a while, that might recontextualize why he's drawn to Alicia the way he is. She is quite the lightning rod, and it's only getting worse with Liz unconsciously spreading more of her negativity to the other students. Alicia is bored of having verbal spats with Liz in the classroom. She's title dropped that she wants to go down in history several times now. Maybe this incident with the supposed wolf will create the memorable opportunity she seeks? |
