Yeah, well.

We both know that you will continue stealing and consuming it, anyways, for the sake of bitching about it.

So...just keep doing what you're doing^^

Stopping after 8 episodes is an utter wreck even as a re zero anime fan. Delayed until Feb!? No wonder light novel series never get finished. Absolute L in my book. Could not even make 12 episodes and separate into a part 2. Guessing it might be merch related to sell figures, but it is irritating. This is why I prefer manga based anime adaptations.

You are crying, cause the studio takes its time to polish the season rather than speed rushing through the source material like many manga adaptations do?

People are complaining too much and seem spoiled asf

@itsFalcon "We" hated having to wait a year for AoT ...
If you haven't watched "Fantastic Children", don't talk about "best anime". Thank you.

@DigiCat It took three stinking years for the "Final Season" of Attack on Titan to be released in its entirety. It wasn't a reasonable release shedule in any stretch of the imagination.

The fact that its final cour was called "Attack on TItan: The Final Season: Part 3: Part 2" is beyond absurd.

@MyllerPhiem But they're so freaking stupid. Everyone in this Re:Zero forum acts like Attack on Titan is some flawless masterpiece that not only can do no wrong but should be imitated in its entirety.

There was a 4 year gap between the first two series. And when the second was over I gave up on the mysterious basement ever being solved, since all that happened in the second season was a whole lot of men died (including people who knew stuff that we didn't), and a whole lot of questions got asked with none being answered.

And then there's the "Coordinate" that the bad guys mention. The most obvious case of an author introducing a mcguffin without knowing what it was (so that it could be literally anything, what with how criptically they refer to it). And once we do learn what it is, whenever the badguys have a flashback they never use the word "Coordinate" again.

And AoT's pacing isn't just bad, it is legendarily and mementically bad. At the time of "Final Season Part 2's" final episode (which I didn't know was going to be the final episode at the time) I was preparing to make a rant on r/CharacterRant about how "No one will remember how bad the anime's pacing was", but once "The Final Season Part 3" was announced, it stopped being funny.

How was the production cycle unreasonable for the Final Season? 28 episodes plus 2 episodes, an hour each being released in a 3 year time frame is reasonable. If you want to complain about the marketing guys for MAPPA fair enough, the production itself though had a reasonable release schedule, especially considering what was asked of the animators. Literally the only reason MAPPA did that production, was because the production times for AOT were becoming unreasonable and they were one of the only studios that could accommodate that.

@BilboBaggins365 Aot doesn't look that much better than other anime that have no trouble airing regularly. Moreover, maybe space it out better instead of making us wait a huge ass time in-between airings.

ReZero is repeating this shit, other anime are, too. And it's never okay. But it's especially bad when it's obvious that a show is popular and then they wait with the continuation.

This season isn't the most exciting for me and splitting it won't help me to create some excitement. At least I hope the other half will be better.

@MyllerPhiem

Literally what anime? Getting the equivalent of 34 episodes in 3 years is a luxury most shows do not get, if they get a sequel at all.

ReZero is repeating this shit, other anime are, too. And it's never okay.

Sure the spaces are pretty wide, granted if you saw a season every year or two, the anime probably would be caught up to the LNs at this point and you would be waiting anyway. And even then, it's not a fault of the studio and more the production committee for sticking with White Fox. They still are doing a fine job with the anime, though I haven't watched S3 yet.

But it's especially bad when it's obvious that a show is popular and then they wait with the continuation.

I mean it's not especially bad. I mean sure more fans are impacted, sure the industry benefits from feeding off the popularity of big shows. That said, again your argument is that this is an infringement of consumer rights, again is that argument applicable to fans of any show that only got one season lol?

...that was just golden; almost lost my snack. XD

I remember a couple months back, you zapped me for having a long-winded post. Told myself to avoid that grumpy troll best I possibly could.

My apologies. After seeing more of your output; you've gained a stranger's respect with some of your blunt lil zingers, and general anime IQ. 🙏

You should get a life and stop spreading negativity
@AshTheChamp You're on Mal just like the rest of us and you've literally wasted your time in your life watching all episodes of one piece, don't you dare use the insult of "getting a life" on other people.

Fabulous ending. I’m kind of meh I like it but does it touch me, but then episode 8, Subaru breaking down the door with Reinhard almost brought a tear to my eye!

Let them take a break and produce a quality product. We saw how rushing has hurt Uzumaki and other shows.

I want a good story and good production, not greedy producers.

It's a bit strange indeed, i think it's the first time ever (to my knowledge) that a split of this type happens. I wonder why the third season is still listed as 16 instead of dividing the two parts in 8 and 8.
And then we still have the rumor of another part going to adapt the next arc, uh

I read a comment on a website saying that AI japanese was stopping the new anime episodes from coming out. That was stupid, but I can laugh at it now. Its basically impossible to stop now.
