| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Uchiyama-san's character dreaming that he should do alone. Mamo's character for the first time in the season. Him talking in English with an Alstralian teammate. A Japanese guy wanting to join his team? Oh, it's Uchiyama-san's character's brother. Travelling swimmer? Suzuki-san's character was curious about Uchiyama-san's character, and called Hosoya-san's character about him. The three who were close to Uchiyama-san's character talking how they are not familiar with him. lol @ mascle book. Through him, Rin understood Uchiyama-san's character went through. Raining get him go back to Japan. |

| Uh, am I remembering this series badly, or did it use to have more comedy and humor in it? Now it’s just drama, after drama, with some race in the middle of the episode. I’m not having that much fun, honestly… Also, what’s with Makoto’s, Haru’s and pretty much everyone’s torsos? They’re HUGE! I know they are supposed to be athletic and all that, but this combined with their cute baby-faces looks totally out of place and mismatched, I can’t stand it! Especially when they are wearing baggy, ugly over-sized clothes, geez. You’d think a series with main audience being mainly female, they’d put more effort into interesting and cool-looking outfits, at least for the main guys :< Meh. |

| Kitsu-nee: It's not just you. The first season definitely had more humor to it. This season has been disappointing so far. Too much drama and I miss the characters from the first season. |
| Gou cameo was really funny. We know more about what happened to Ikuya and Natsuya....Still, I think there just might be too many characters....So far, Natsuya is the only likeable character from the the prequel movie. |

| I liked this episode. I expected to go through an emotional journey, which is part of growing up. At the end, Haru, Makoto, and Asahi are facing Shimogami University, ready to meet Ikuya. I hope that goes well! Thankfully, Kisumi befriended a senpai whose boyfriend is on the same swim team as Ikuya, or else our middle school gang won't know Ikuya's schedule! >< I like that we learned about what happened to Ikuya, after separating in middle school. It's good to know that Ikuya continued practicing in America, but it was sad to see him almost drown from lack of oxygen and he was hospitalized again :(( Indeed, Ikuya improved through his individual medley records, but I agree with Natsuya that Ikuya may hit a wall at this rate... :/ I laughed when Natsuya called Rin "adulterous," because Rin has both Haru and Sousuke he wants to swim with! X) Well, the chance is always there, since Rin is practicing in Australia, Haru continues to practice in Japan, and Sousuke is resting his shoulder and may swim again in the future :)) I laughed at how random it was that Mikhail also loves muscles, like Gou!! XD Maybe I shouldn't be surprised that Natsuya had limited edition muscle books from Japan lol?? It's hilarious that Mikhail collects photo books of beautiful muscles, and one reason he rejected teaching Natsuya is because Natsuya's muscles aren't Mikhail's type :P Maybe Mikhail won't get his hands on the limited-edition muscle book, since Gou isn't willing to give it away. xDD And I'm totally not surprised that Rin knows that Gou has the same book :P I like that this episode showed us Rin's daily routine. :) Rin wakes up from an alarm, washes his face, makes breakfast and eats while listening to his favourite playlist, and then jogs before heading to practice. We can see how devoted Rin is as a swimmer, and I love that he's passionate :)) If it weren't for the rain stopping Rin and Natsuya's race, I would want to see the result! If Rin lost, I would love to see Natsuya live with Rin LOL. And Rin's very nice for eating dinner with Natsuya every night :P It's interesting that Natsuya is a travelling swimmer who doesn't desire to win medals; he just enters races that offer prize money, wins, and then travels to other locations. Now that Natsuya decided to return to Japan, it's probably to take care of Ikuya after receiving Hiyori's message about Ikuya's instability during practice, and because Natsuya wants to be with Nao. ^^ If Nao's eyes are in a good enough condition, I would want to see Natsuya and Nao swimming together again :)) I also like that moment where Makoto and Sousuke were on the phone! It's so normal to see people text, especially if they don't have the confidence to call (people don't like their own voice, they want to think of what to say in advance hence they prefer to text...). So, I like seeing these athletes have the confidence to talk and get their points across! They both did not know much about Ikuya though... I'm reminded of Asahi, Haru, and Makoto meeting up, and Asahi said it feels as though they don't know Ikuya anymore :(( We know that Hiyori and Ikuya met in America. So, I'm guessing that Hiyori witnessed how much of an impact Ikuya's middle school teammates had on him, which is why Hiyori tries to steer Iwatobi away from Ikuya :/ |

| So, Ikuya almost died twice due to his stubbornness... ok, someone REALLY needs to take it easy. OK episode overall. The "muscle book" sequence was hilarious, but even more when they showed Gou having the same copy xD Oh man, I really miss her ;_; |
