Episode aired slightly delayed than usual

https://x.com/kenkadokugaku_A/status/1805994912594477095

This episode was like like a David vs Goliath type of match. Hobin pretty much had to use everything he's learned including techniques in recent episodes and his guts.

There were a lot of attitude coming into this episode but it's kinda easy to root for an underdog. Bomi was proud of the boys too.

Time to beat Mangi once and for all.

Despite taking Hobin's powerful calf kick, Mangi doesn't flinch. With no chance to escape, Hobin finds himself in a dire situation. It's all up to if he can demonstrate the results of the intense training he received from Taehoon. Meanwhile, as Moonsung and Bomi watch the live stream, Hobin continues to not back down and faces off against his formidable opponent.

Out of all his opponents thus far, this is definitely his most hardest one just due to his sheer mass. I mean it's like he said, he's a fucking tank. People with sheer mass like him, their reach and power will just be too much to handle. But ofc it'll be easy if you reveal a secert like you balding to the world... show is so fucking unserious and I love it lmaoooo. Then Hobin says he buy a gf if he gets famous... LMAOOOO. And slowly but surely, Hobin's mom is getting better. Great for him. I'm happy for him.

YES JAPAN, THIS IS HOW YOU ADAPT A MANHWA. See what happens when you actually adapt a manhwa well, A GOOD PRODUCT COMES OUT.

Animation aside, because that shit is dogshit, such a stupid show that I can't help but love it. It's manhwa counterpart is definitely better by a LOOOONG SHOT.

The unfortunate nature of Hobin and Snapper meeting the Ssireum champion Hwang Mangi, the former is such an idiot for even trying to face him with the usual fighting skills. Even with the sense of adrenaline, Mangi doesn't move a bit...and Hobin is forced to run backwards whilst facing him to try and get an advantage over him. But even with Samdak's teaching skills, there's just no way trying to win over a grappler, calf kicks don't work on him, and neither is the baseball choke (that he tried on Taehun), and the spine protector almost put him out of commission against a pro. That's when Hobin utilizes everything that he learnt Taekwondo from Taehun in the shortest time possible.

The sad fate of Taehun having to see his beloved dojo (managed by his father) fall into ruins from fellow students studying after MMA took over Takewondo, and now he has a disciple to lean to through Hobin. But even with the spinning back kick...which landed on Mangi's crotch of all places. Despite that, Mangi still dominates by strength...except when Hobin ACTAULLY managed to win against the big guy...by removing his hair wig. A result of his hair loss, that bonded the trio all the same. In actuality, Hwang Mangi is not a bad guy, it's just that circumstances force him to be so from an early young age, so much so that both Hobin and Snapper sympathized with him, earning him fans from the livestream in the process.

All that's left is for Gaeul to edit the video which increases subscribers and viewership, and Hobin's life is only getting better, as his mother has recovered better, and the heap of money for her surgery is no longer a problem to solve. BUT BE AWARE OF THE DEMONETIZATION SYMBOL...and the people who want to challenge them.

This show ain't bad, but it sure felt empty compared to its manhwa counterpart. Still, you can't help but root for the goodness that this show brings.

Episode wasn't too bad. I think the animation would've made it more enjoyable if they focused a bit more on the fight choreography.

Dude, what a great way to end the series.

Not only were we able to see how foolish Hobin was to challenge Hwang using his previous tactics only to regret it immediately, we also had the cut that explained why Taehun trusted him to teach him that kick that just exploded his nuts. Also, in a completely unexpected turn, he was saved from a lethal grappling move thanks to Hwang's wig, changing the mood of the episode to an empowering one as the dude just wanted to get laid. Oh, and the stream comments, my god, some of them were hilarious to read out loud and very accurate indeed. Finally, even if everything was bound to end well in terms of revenue, family and friendships just a little tiny not important at all factor came up in the very last frame: the demonetization symbol. Chef's kiss.

I honestly can't be mad about this series. It took everything from the current streaming/video creator landscape and made a parody of it with dumb characters that you can laugh at and also follow in their dellusional version of Fight club. It's stupid fun but fun nonetheless even if the animation wasn't that good. Highly recommended to those who are in that mood of wanting to laugh at how illogical something is.

Man, what a bizarre ending, first of all, Robin was incredible man, he just gave a sensational back kick to a monster so that in the end we know that he just wants to be loved, that ending was super cute, I don't think we'll have a second due to the quality that wasn't at the level of Wind Breaker, but I'm clearly going to read the manga because I know it's a really cool story

And so we end with bonding over baldness(well hair loss, but then the alliteration would be gone) and a surgery date for mom.

I expected a shoe to drop to tease a second season, and maybe that yen symbol flashing yellow was supposed to mean just that, but I dunno. Anywho I ended up really liking this. I think it benefited from low expectations as I went into this blind, and going in I really expected this to be a low level, exploitative trash kinda show. Instead it was a fairly enjoyable story of an underdog getting strong. That's usually a winner in my book. One that's hard to mess up and I don't think the youtube-esque gimmick surrounding it was a problem. If anything I want to see more, which is a nice feeling to have. Slightly generous 8/10. Not the best show I watched this season, but probably the most pleasant surprise.

Pretty good finale. I'm glad Hwang Mingi didn't turn out to be such a bad guy because that felt pretty cliche and stereotypical.

Overall not a bad anime at all, I had fun watching even though it was pretty cringe in the beginning. It definitely had some heart and I would watch a sequel if it were made.

I respect his newfound courage and "humility". He went to the same guy that whooped his ass and asked him to teach him but he is stupid because why on earth did he think 1 move would allow him to win against a demi-godπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚. I'm glad it is possible for his mum to move back home again. Hobin is up right now. He has money, the woman of his dreams and he is getting his mum back. I that was a nice twist he was stalking her stalker but came off as super creepy. At the end of the day, bro was just a sad man. I really hope we get a season 2.

This was a lot of fun. Let's get a season 2 push going of this one. This is easily the most underrated show of the season. Please give this one a chance.

I love how this episode was handled because having him beat someone big like that is legit as big as Brock Lensar would heave been stupid and unrealistic.
