Ha?! Dunno what are you speaking about. LOL!

Anyways, this is all I can get from KAA torrents. XD I wish they finish this series soon. Cause I really want to watch the next episodes!!! Arghh!

Then, I wonder who will be Mai's cared person? If it will be her brother, it would just be plain predictable. I hope there's some twist on it. ^^

I rewatched all of HiME and Otome recently. First time through (watching them as they aired) I preferred HiME, but revisiting them and marathoning them, I found Otome to be more enjoyable.

Still, HiME has some great moments, especially earlier on. ^^

I see. Well, it seems I can't watch this until KAA finish up subbing the series. I just hope that they can be fast. I mean, their last update is almost a year ago. T_T

They haven't yet announced that they drop it. How long do they really wait to finish it up. Well, still I'm waiting for them, so on-hold for now.

I think all DVD episodes of Mai-HiME are already finished. They're taking R2 DVD Rips from Japan.

Sad episode towards the end. Seems like they really do have to put something on the line.

That music was fantastic towards the end, really dramatic. And now we know what's at stake. I have a feeling who Mai's important person is going to be based on the end of the episode.

the series is compelling because of the characters development - each with quite unique personality well-explored. But the plot content so far is not much. Still a 10 for me so far though for being genuinely able to hook me up.

Such a sad episode. She lost the person she loved and just when she discovered he had no problem with her and he realy loved her. Lot's of drama along with Mai trying to save the others. So what is that Miyu? She looked strange from the start but now it's like she is a robot or something. She's really ugly by the way.

So the person that dies is not you but the one you gave your heart at. That's interesting. They really can't afford to lose. Well Mai did it for her brother obviously but i wonder if the person that dies changes when the person in her heart changes. Because she is starting to have feelings for Tate.

Am surprised that Kanzaki guy was clueless. I thought he knew about Hime's and staff.

Wow, great episode. Miyu.. Multiple Intelligencial Yggdrasil Unit. Well, obviously a enemy of HiMEs. I'm left with more questions than answers of yet though. So much hasn't been explained, i hope they flesh out the plot/story a bit more soon..

But man that was sad :( such a heartfelt scene when he accepted her as a HiME, then to have him die freaking 2 minutes later, wow.

Been suspicious of Miyu's role in the plot, and actually kinda hated her character, but makes sense now that its revealed that shes some sort of robot/cyborg lol.

Also, i thought the music overlapping while the fight scenes were going on was spot on! Music in general fits the scenes quite well. It just feels like a well put together anime thus far, i'm hooked! Show has consistently delivered every episode for me, and people say its slow for this first half and gets BETTER in the second? wut?

What an episode O_O, Kanzaki confesses to Mai (what about Fujino @_@?) the guardian just watches nonchalantly as Kazu and Akane kiss and then we find out Miyu is some badass robot who kills Akane's guardian and consequently Kazu =O

Akane! TT_TT Oh why must this be that such a price to pay is in effect now. Kazu was so in pain and his death made me even more T_T Sniff this for you Kazu! The episode was good with this nice kiss=> Until it had to happen to Kazu what happened here=>
Miyu.....please suffer somehow and you Nage please stop all of this somehow! Mashiro too should do something about it! This was a sad one!

In spoiler my anime list for now.

Likewise, ndryden. I think it was clear that something bad was going to happen to the happy couple of minor characters, but the linked life forces was an interesting development. Therefore, Takomi, a.k.a. "Mr. delicate Damsel in Distress" is actually a huge fire breathing badass, or is somehow linked to it perhaps? I wonder if the sympathetic death works in reverse, as that could be Kagutsuchi's weakness.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to Miyu getting owned by the protagonists; she was just cruel.

I could see fairly early on in this series that this had the potential to get good.

Potential achieved.

I was always upset that Akane was the first HiME to go, especially after only battling once. She and Hari are so awesome! C'mon producers, pick one of the less-cool HiME to lose first!

That was quite the interesting plot development and as well as being quite sad.
Miyu is a reboot and apperently tasked to destroy HiME, however she was saying something about testing them.
Apperently she works for "Searrs. For the Golden Millennium".
That raises many questions such as:
Who are they and what do they want?
Why are theytrying to stop the HiME?

This episode also told us tha tif a HiME loses, the person they care about the most dies.
So... who is that for each HiME?

That's how it was for me, it was starting to feel super generic and I began to doubt it was going to turn into anything serious. Then that plot twist hit and even though it wasn't anything crazy it was a pretty shocking deviation from what we had been seeing the past 7 episodes. Now that I know there's some level of mortality defined, I'm looking forward to continuing much more than I was before.

Currently on a rewatch. Great episode (especially the latter half of it). Mai Hime must be one of the few anime shows I've seen thus far that is able to balance humour with action scenes and sad moments.

Also (on a side note), it's actually quite interesting how similar Mai Hime and Puella Magia Madoka Magica are:
1. Kyubey + Nagisa are very alike

2. Homura really reminds me of Natsuki (cool, aloof, lone wolf beauty who are determined and driven but at the same time very caring characters)
3. Sayaka is somewhat reminiscient of Midori (importance of justice, power of friendship, etc. when fighting your enemies)
4. Both have fantastic OST by Yuki Kajiura

No wonder why I love both shows.

Of course right when I say I want to slow down on the posts, a big plot episode like this happens lol. But damn tho, I was not expecting them to go and revoke Akane’s HiME privileges right after it was revealed that she was one and had that touching moment with her man Kazu, and I fully expected Miyu to be a robot so no surprise there, but damn that was a dirty ass move, it looks to me like she was testing what happens when a HiME’s monster dies, and it looks like it is not the HiME who dies, but the person is they love most, Kazu we barely knew you but RIP, found out his girlfriend is a battle waifu and then dies for it lol.

This has me wondering what would happen if you don’t find anyone’s life precious, like maybe what’s precious to you is your CD player (because it’s 2004, although I own one in 2024 lol), not sure what the technicalities are there but it definitely means Mai will either lose Tate or her brother if she were to lose her dragon man, foreshadowing is thicc with this one. And there was also Mai revealing that she’s a HiME to Reito, and her brother and Tate encountered an orphan, does this mean their memories will be wiped or do these memory wiping guys not have that many eyes hidden about? So many questions but I can certainty say this was a great episode, hard to believe it’s the same one that teased incest between Mai and her brother lol. Oh, and lastly, the festival stuff was fun, it was just overshadowed by all the plot stuff that happened unfortunately.
