| Well, there goes a member from Class C. Looks like this episode had Ayanokoji stepping up to take the challenge in this stage of the exam. Given someone of his personality, it's pretty clear that he doesn't back down from anyone. Of course, every action has a consequence and this like a big risk for him to take. Class C right now is in the most complicated position compared to others imo. |

| As one would've guessed it was Sakanayagi who was behind Ayanokouji's serious surge of votes lol. Though she sees him as a competition, so it kind of makes sense why she didn't want him to get expelled, but at the same time it kind of does not make sense too lol. Anyways, there they were indulged in their love talk and then came… … Tsukishiro, the new “evil” headmaster. Was waiting for his appearance, and man did he make a first impression? Literally pushed Ayanokouji against the wall and lol kicked Sakanayagi's cane just like that. Though goes without saying he's after them or more specifically after Ayanokouji, since he's sent there by his father, who wants him out of this school. Can't say they did a very great job explaining the rules of this final special exam, but yeah that's the usual. Though we got the gist that it'll be a class vs class with a class leader representing their respective class, where of course if a class loses in the overall count... out of 5 games, the class leader would be expelled. They love expelling their own students lol. Though looking forward to the eventual Ayanokouji vs Sakanayagi clash, which they've been building up since the start of this first year. A chess match it would be, for every obvious reaosn. Hirata's acting like a loser tho. Also, please no Ayanokouji and Manabu shipping, I mean we literally saw dude giving a heart shaped pendent or whatever to Karuizawa this episode itself lol. Decent start to the volume. |

| Manabu and Ayanokoji are back together at last. As a result of the class vote, the first student from Class C, Yamauchi, has been expelled. Sakayanagi explains that this special exam was set up as a stage to expel Ayanokoji. Amidst this, Tsukishiro, claiming to be the acting chairman, appears before Ayanokoji and Sakayanagi. Tsukishiro was a person sent by Ayanokoji's father. Aware of this, Ayanokoji challenges Sakayanagi to a showdown in the next exam. Lerche really nails the physical confrontations in this show. From fights between Manabu and Ayanokoji to other intense moments like the Boiler Room incident, they've got a good track record. Even smaller conflicts like Ibuki versus Horikita show their attention to detail. The animation in this episode is decent overall, especially during Manabu and Ayanokoji's conversation. Plus, Ichinose looks super cute this time around. It makes you wonder what Lerche has in store. With this episode possibly wrapping up Volume 10, we're left with only two volumes to go. |

For those who were making a fuss about how Ayanokouji became first, here's your obvious answer. Kei was so adorable this episode. Ayanokouji gave her a heart shaped necklace? Yo! Is this the start of something? Well doubt it cause it's Ayanokouji after all. Liked the conversation between Manabu and Ayanokouji. He can rest easy leaving Suzune to him. Yeah nope. Ayanokouji saying he's a normal high schooler cracked me up, he's got nice humour sense. |

| More Ayanonokoji in this episode, and also good episode too. A bit more laid back this time. And a new exam was held, another exam again. I also liked the end of the episode. Manabu, maybe it's not bad either. Lol, he handed Suzune over to Ayanokoji, that surprised me. |

| Yamauchi is now expelled, which can be arguably considered as a fine start for the "Events Selection Exam" - though the atmosphere of C-Class remains intense as usual (especially Hirata himself). Tsukishiro is such a violent man to the point he kicked Sakayanagi's cane despite her being in a poor health state. I hope we ain't gonna have another villain here Imao I didn't expect Kiyotaka to give Kei a heart-shaped necklace though, that's so gentlemanly of him. Also, Kei's "Yahoo" is surely something else 😉 Only 4 episodes left to go, let's see how this special exam will start and end. |

| No waaay, just because of that. You do NOT want to get on Sakayanagi's bad side. 6:42 Wow, that's a lot of games and sports I never heard about. I googled all of them and it was quite interesting. This exam is a whole lot easier to understand than the past ones. What's happening with Hirata is really interesting. I wonder what he'll do in this exam. I can admire Koenji not giving a crap about anything and just enjoying life lmao Oohhh, it's kinda cool that Ayano and Kei are going to be more open about their relationship now. And I really didn't expect that gift. Is Ayano and Manabu standing in one place and talking, even though the lights are green, some metaphor that I don't understand? Nice episode. |

Awaiting further developments on their part. Looks like Hirata is not holding back now with his mask off. Onwards. |

In this case, girls which is hilarious given how matter-of-fact and how hard it is for these two guys who does not show affection so openly |

| Tsukishiro's here!!! The man disrespected Arisu and slammed Kiyogoat against a wall. He's built different. I guess, with this episode, the final arc of the first year begins (adapting Volume 11). The events put up by each class are pretty interesting. I can't wait to see the chess match between the two commanders. |

| @HassanSan525 Because Ayanakouji got the most praise points in the last competition, he has a protection point that protects him from expulsion in another game. Every class got one. That's why all those who got a protection point volunteered to be captains in the upcoming competition. Mei's voice is absolutely grating on the ears. It fits the character (childish, very nosy little girl) but damn it makes me wanna turn the volume down. Tsukishiro on the other hand is even more menacing than I expected. I though he'd be a lot more humorous or jesty in his intonation. |

| Its unfortunate but passing the exam without any casualties was impossible. If there's one absolute about Arisu is that she always strikes back at those that wronged her. The new chairmen though sure is a scumbag though. This new exam though sure is an exercise on randomness though. Nice to see Suzune step to take the anger though. Its nice seeing the bond between Kei and AK improve to this level. It was adorable seeing the reaction the present but man the price for it was steep. Rare to see Akane shout but man that scene was amusing. Looking at the events that class A picked this exam is gonna be a tough one. |

| This episode just dumped so much information,i have to re watch it again so that i won't miss any minor details. And is it just me or any one felt like their a slight but sutela change in the animation or art style and also the expression of Horikita was a uncommon  i mean the only time i saw her expression is when she's is in vonerible state |

| How many special exams do they need? The shipping in this show is getting ridiculous. I don't know who to choose between Kei, Horikita or Ichinose all are good picks. The protection point is huge for Ayanokoji but I don't know if that matters in the bet made with Sakayanagi. Once she got her revenge, she gets tripped up again lol. |

| @-Stray LOL new chairmen walked in owning that place and wanted all of the smoke. Kicking Sakayanagi's cane though... That was pretty uncalled for, however kind of fitting right after reminiscing about how Yamauchi accidentally did it earlier and ended up getting targeted because of it. I have to agree with the Sudo call out here, the dude is actually annoying at this point and hasn't really done anything for the class other than cause problems. Hirata finally being a real person is exciting to me, I've been waiting patiently for his mask to break and show us his true face. Granted Hirata was definitely acting a fool, especially when little ole Mii-chan was the one trying to figure out what's going on with him. But I am here for the entertainment regardless - I want to see Hirata throw hands with Koenji. That was the first thought that came to mind when both of them missed the meeting for the new exam lol |
