| It's good to have this show back for a second season and it got straight to the content. I see the other three heroes are still useless. Surprisingly I don't feel annoyed about that. It only means Naofumi has to do all the hard work again. |

| That green haired girl used to be funny in the first season. Not anymore. She is just annoying now. Everything is Itsuki this and Itsuki that. Can't she at least have the decency to respect the man who took her in and stop mentioning her former master, who throw her out, before him? |

| I think I must be in the minority, because a 3 year gap between seasons is long enough for me to need a quick refresher. I ended up having to go to the wiki to remind myself everything that was going on. |

| Years later and the first episode is more of thesame which of course has its pros and cons. I am hopeful for the whole harem dynamic to change a bit (which will surely not happen) and the other heroes to show some character development (also unlikely). Keeping that in my mind my wish for this season is to at the very least see some exciting threats and decision to be made. 6/10 |

| I don't know whether I should be happy or laid back to finally get back to watching this. I hope it's at least as good as the first one (which fumbled so back in the middle), however, the low community score doesn't look too promising for this season. |

| I did not remember Rishia, but I don't like her, she's kinda annoying. New opening is even more hiphopish than the old one. |

| Watching the first episode of what of S2 without knowing what is ahead and one would never guess how poorly this season would turn out, I mean this was a rather solid first episode IMO. But the sights are there, if you look to the OP and see they are adapting that many LN volumes, on 12-13 episodes?! And implied from that you can already expect low budget, if they are not even gonna take the proper time to present it all, that means low budget and animation will have to take a hit. |

| A good start for the series! But honestly, this episode just made me realize I have completely forgotten all of the plot of the 1st season, and I had to rewatch some episodes, because I genuinely forgot from where the green-haired girl appeared. I know this season aired last year, but I still think I wouldn't have remembered the plot either way. But I think I'm all good now to continue. Also they showed the opening in the end! I'm glad they invited Madkid to do it again, the 1st Season's openings were really iconic, not only because the songs were good, but also because it's not really common for J-Pop groups to do openings, so I'm glad it's Madkid again. But, for the 1st listen, I wasn't a bit fan of the opening, but we'll see I guess. |
| Acceptable start to the new season's cour. With only 13 episodes in a single cour making up its second season. I am apprehensive of the start of Shield Hero 2. However, this time I am going in more or less blind... Unlike the first season's source content. I'll be able to give a more unbiased, but unknownledged, take this time. |
