| This episode might be the closest to death we've seen for Helck. Like seriously, it was life or death. And seeing all those flashbacks and memories...Jesus Christ. This episode almost felt like an emotional journey. The feels were real. |

ROFL. This author only knows how to solve situations with deus ex outcomes. Cless managed to break the King's BS binding spell in the right moment in order to kill Mikaros and again, just because the author says so he's strong enough to even kill himself. The elongated death of Cless (who we already knew he was going to die anyway) felt so overdramatic and so cheaply animated thru and thru. The aftermath is an even worse joke than the evil mustache twirling villians with a couple of goons that COINCIDENTALLY had found Helck out in the middle of nowhere. |

(we never saw the blonde one unmasked I think, must be her) I also wonder what's up with the dark power, Cless seems to have artificially gotten it from Mikaros but I don't get how Helck has it as well, maybe it's the exact same power as the black knight too. (in which case there probably won't be a happy ending for Helck either) |
| Noooo! Helck's fury was truly something to behold. I really hope his friends are ok, but since we haven't saw them healthy in the present timeline, I'm not so sure this is going to end well. She should have just let Helck unleash his wrath on those nobles. Though, I guess based on how bad he was bleeding, she feared for his life. It was probably the right move. |

| I knew Cless was going to kill himself leading to Helck going into rage mode. Somehow he survived all that and now Helck is riddled with despair of losing his only brother. The only glimmer of hope for Helck is that he can still save his friends. |

| Hitting the feels this episode and probably next one as well. Since this is a flash back we already know what happened to everyone just getting the details flushed out on how it happened. Something that started off pretty light hearted got dark quick once they started hinting at the darkness he was holding in. As much as seeing him go hulk smash would have been cool it just goes to show how much a good guy he is with Alicia grounding his anger that was covering his exhaustion. The ending was a bit weird with tweedledee and tweedledum some how tracking where he was put to recover, probably just to break tension but at a awkward time. |
| What a tragic outcome with Cless killing himself to get out of the king's mind control. Since Mikaros presumably got killed I figured that the plans to create heroes would've been done but since in Helck's present timeline there are heroes someone else must've taken over. On that note I fear for what has happened to Helck's friends, and I'm also curious what the king is since a stab to his forehead didn't seem to stop him. |

| They have to stop ending these episodes right as shit gets good 😩. Very hard episode to watch. Fuck Mikaros, the king and the nobles for exploiting their own people like this. It breaks my heart that Cless put all that work in protecting the kingdom only to come back to getting called low class vermin by those he was protecting. Both the nobles and commoners did that now. It’s another example of how you’re only valuable to people when you can do things for them That dark magic or energy that was coming from Helck was really interesting. Cless got that from Mikaros but Helck seems to naturally have it.. I wonder what it is. We know that at least two of Helck’s companions will become awakened knights, next episode looks like it’ll be even more of a gut punch. I totally understand why Helck went to the demon kingdom now. The humans he experienced were more monsters than any demon ever was. |

| Wait so Human King can't be dead even after Cless making a hole on his head. So Mikaros can't be dead too, right? I doubt. I don't like how you need Alicia to stop Helck from rampaging like that. Why you need woman as a cliche break? Helck honestly needs to put an end to those bunch of bastard first and Alicia can huge the big man to all of her content, but not with those plot smh. This is actually a boring past by how the story goes. I hope the next will be the last spur, or else, to helck with this show! |

| What an episode. Cless dying! The near death experience. The rage. That broken sword. Everything is explained and it is Sad AF. I genuinely wish this anime had better animation, because the story keeps being good. |

| I think it would’ve been better writing for this series if Helck had actually slaughtered those nobles. Not only is it better than they deserved, but it would be good framing for Helck’s current perspective that humans need to be eradicated, why couldn’t that have been the moment that idea started for him. Instead we get the same old tired trope that “our hero is righteous and he doesn’t kill civilians.” |

We literally started and ended the first half of this anime with it revealing Helck ending up fighting against his former friends and the friends wants Helck dead... This mean they ARE "still alive", but not somewhere, they're still attacking the Demon Country while Helck is telling this Flackback story to Vami. Just that all of Helck's friends are now under the control of the King. (since they "died" and is then "revived" they are now unable to oppose the King) . As for the King, I am pretty sure that masked person on the throne wasn't the actual king, but rather just a hollow armor, the King is most likely somewhere else. |

| Damn, this is really quite the flashback as we now know that Helck didn't actually kill Cless rather he stabbed himself in order to protect him. His comrades did much of the same but it seems like he remained guilty for not doing more than he did. That ending scene tells me that Alicia's death comes next as the flashback wraps up. |

| Down but not out, Helck feels pain for the first time due to the Hero Slayer sword, and the stroke of luck that Cless momentarily came back to his senses to defeat Mikaros, it seems that the king's orders are still absolute, and to atone for his sins, decides to kill himself to the dismay of Helck. As if the senators are too gloated about their plan, Helck unleashes his dark power to everyone's dismay, which by the extent, Alicia managed to stop him before he goes berserk. With Alicia, Edil and Zeruzeon protecting him, Helck sees life flashing before his very eyes: his past with Cless, which subsequently, Helck finds himself hidden in a cave, and led outside from the sounds of bandits searching after him with a bounty on his head. Helck blaming himself that he did not manage to save each and every one of his friends, though word from them them that they're still alive, there is still hope to change the future. The awakened Helck...what's he to do now? |
