| I thought it was an okay episode: it felt like "let's tick the box of this character's back story so we can move on", kind of. As usual I got moved by how full of love Tohru is! But the rest was one story told twice and a nice resolution at the end, in 20minutes, done. It was a nice story but felt empty to me. Anyway, Tohru didn't get her memories erased, it's all that matters. And I hope Akito won't harm her... Now on to the next episode! |

| Akito is quite the shitty person for ruining Hatori's happy life with Kanna there. Poor Hatori there at the end with the heartbreaking news of Kanna getting married. |

| really liked how the OST played this one. some hints about the curse, hmm... wonder how's akito going to "use" tohru. the 1+1 hint i managed to make from this episode, is that akito wants to use tohru to kills the curse. the 1 is - hattori tells tohru that akito wants to use here, other 1 - akito tells kana that she cannot break the curse anyway. there's also momiji hint, but that didn't made any sense to me. at any rate, i love how this fruits basket version is concentrating more on the drama than comedy, when i watched the first version the only thing made me continue watching was the comedy. this one making me interest in the story itself. |

| "Spring comes when the snow melts away." The way the changing seasons connect to Hatori's own feelings is so wrenchingly poetic. Even as he had resigned his heart to eternal winter, meeting Tohru and receiving Kana's answer once more is beginning to breathe warmth into his life again. The way this episode begins to scratch the surface of the curse is incredible. Every exchange with Akito gave me chills, knowing how these threads tie together later down the line. |

| I still don't know about this curse thing yet but right now I feel like I want to turn Akito into sashimi grrr. Still, this curse must be a troublesome thing that prohibits outside Soma marriage rather than Akito being a psycho right? |

| My god, that episode hit me and hit me hard in the feels. Poor Hatori, he was someone who was so in love with Kana and from the looks of it, they seemed to be happy of each others company, again very much in love. Akito on the other hand seems to be the instigator of the “curse” that has been done to the Soumas. Why would he do such a horrible thing as to separate Hatori from his one true love and then erase her memories like that? It’s inhumane. It’s good to see that Kana has got a new life outside and is happy again but I really feel for Hatori I really do. Now I really want to know what is up with the Zodiac curse concerning the Souma family. |
| This episode was a true emotional rollercoaster. The tragic story of Hatori and Kana left me on the verge of tears, their love story so heartbreakingly beautiful yet so fraught with sorrow. That final scene where Kana, with her memories erased, talks about marrying, still claiming Hatori as her love, just shattered my heart. 💔 And then, Hatori's transformation into a seahorse (or 'seadragon' in Japanese) threw me for a loop—I was expecting the grandeur of a traditional Chinese Dragon, but the irony of his aquatic form added a lighter touch to the heavy mood. 🥲 The brief encounter between Tohru and Akito has my mind racing with theories. Now more than ever, I'm convinced Akito might be the mysterious boy from Tohru's childhood memories. But if not the Dragon, then what Zodiac sign could he be? His aura feels so 'poisonous,' maybe he's the Snake? It seems fitting, yet it leaves me pondering what tragic tale lies behind his demeanor. I'm bracing myself for a story that will undoubtedly require a box of tissues at hand. 😅 And the curse! My curiosity is piqued to the max. What is the nature of this curse that binds the Sohma family? Each episode peels back layers, revealing more complexity and depth, and I'm here for it, tissues ready for the inevitable tears. 🥺🌟 |

| Hatori x Kana! 😢 I'm happy that Kana got her happy ending, but it's so unfair that Hatori is suffering with the memories of their tragic love. Even if he has a cold exterior, he's truly a nice person. Akito is complete and utter trash. |
