| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- When Brudas died and dropped a 999 pass I thought at least Zeda would get away. But it turned out to be more tragic. If earlier the show seemed like it was written for kids, now I'm not sure who's the target audience as it's taken such a dark turn. Another big name VA in Zeda, that was the same man who did Kasuga Kyosuke in Kimagure Orange Road. The president also sounded somehow familiar. |
| ^^ I also thought that at least Zeda will be able to escape and it's sad he isn't. Still, Tetsuro developed a lot during this arc. Yeah, it's Furuya Tohru and he also did Amuro Ray in Gundam. :) |

| Oh wow. No happy endings in this anime, eh? I wonder what happens in the end. I can't really see Tetsuro getting mechanical body and just living happy for his whole life. |

It was a surprisingly grown-up episode. It's nothing like "The Witch of Plated City", another two episodes story were everything works out like a charm |

| That was a very interesting couple of episodes, and I couldn't help but be reminded of the recent interviews with Vietnam Veterans that I have been watching. The similarities in fighting just to survive, that is, you know, kill or be killed, literally. Exotic9 said: Maetel should’ve just blow the planet up after the failed revolt just like before. Also Zeda shouldve have listened to Tetsuro what idiocy. This is a very good point. I wonder what she saw in sparing this planet that she didn't see when blowing up that other one.  |
| This is the first episode that actually made me sad. I wasn't expecting such a bad end for this story. RIP Zeda :( Easily the best 2 parter this show has had so far. |
| Tragedy is this series bread and butter, but this was just fucked up. On a positive note, they died for a greater cause and at least Zeda got see that there are different kind of people out there before he died. |

| Zeda's rebellion did not succeed. Even though justice sometimes needs to be taken into one's own hands, the world is not fair. May this planet find peace in the future |
| All the soldiers died, and the president wasn't stopped. Talk about depressing. The idea that Tetsurou was unable to do enough on that planet will bother him for some time. |

| Seeing your friends lost their lives, yet you can't do much for them. I totally understand what Tetsuro felt. This planet is indeed...... hope when Tetsuro comes back to this planet it will be changed. |
