I reall don’t have a strong opinion on this one but yeah for me the way the fight was shown it wasn’t hyped at all like the way when i first read the panel

ya the way they showed the manga panel in anime was so bad also in subtitles they also ruined the iconic dialogue

Mid imo. Random exposition during fights, and they wasted Toji just to reiterate on Gojos power with some stupid ass "learned a new power instantly for no reason" bullshit. We already know hes powerful man thats all we fucking know about him. Wasted tension and character, and a wasted humbling of gojo. Not my favourite writing of the series, thats for sure. Cant blame mappa for that though. Everything on their end was good.

Holy shit what a banger episode. Touji Vs Getou's fight was also another great fight, really well animated and choreographed. We also got to know more about how Touji operates with his curse, him not having curse energy but able to infiltrate areas so well undetected with an entire arsenal of cursed weapons really shows off his abilities and skills as a non curse user.
Was also really interesting that Touji let Getou live under the defence that killing him would let out all the curses Getou had consumed. Which leads me to question more about how curse manipulation works and what would happen if a curse manipulation user did die, do all their curses actually get set free? Or is Getou a special case since he's consumes curses?

So Gojou lived by using a curse technique reversal that regenerated his body, and his near death experience was what brought him to understand Limitless and curse technique reversal? Shit and i thought pre-Touji assassination he was strong, but i'm guessing what we saw was him actually transcend with his new found knowledge to what we see in s1. Touji's explanation of Gojou's use of Limitless and curse technique reversal being lowkey easy to understand as well was nice. Limitless's neutral application is the power to stop, Amplifying Limitless makes it attract into Blue and finally pouring positive energy from reverse curse technique into Limitless cases it to repel into Red. Finally explained from Gojou himself, taking the amplified and reversal you get purple, which i'm not exactly sure what to compare to, which was enough to OHKO Touji.

I'll admit watching that scene of a newly transcended Gojou, carrying Riko's corpse and asking Getou whether they should wipe the entire hall of the believers inside clapping was wild. The way the lighting was showing and Gojou's choice of words making him look so ominous while Getou was standing in the light very much confused and probably a bit scared how his friend who he saw get stabbed multiple times is in front of him. But i can also feel like you could kinda see the start of some of Getou's doubts about what it meant to be a Jujutsu sorcerer himself.

I'll admit i am really sad that Touji was killed off so soon before we got to see more of him. From watching the s2 previews i was genuinely hyped up to be thinking he'd be the main antagonist for the whole season that would plan on the side line and only attack the main cast a hand full of times, but each time would be impactful to the plot. Shame i really liked the idea of his character and really wanted to know more about his background and personality, but i mean from what i saw him do this season, he's definitely left an impression on me that i can't help but respect.

For some reason it felt like that Gojou is evil and Geto is innocent.

I think they also did a decent job animating the fight between Gojou and Toji.

Finally, a proper reason(even if not the most innovative one) as to why an antagonist, especially one like Toji, would explain his powers.

Beautiful fight, though. This man's why Purple Hollow exists(partially).

The best episode so far. Episode 3 and episode 4 of jujutsu kaisen season 2 is amazing. I don't care about no angles the voice acting, emotion, expressions of the characters, animation was great. JJK szn 2 for anime of the year contender.

They really did justice to this fight. My only complaint is I disliked the golden clouds, I think I would have preferred like white or a clear blue sky, or even wacky colors. But gege really cooked with this arc/these fights, so it was bound to be peak.

Very soon, were getting Shibuya, and that very well propel JJK to an unironic classic/peak status, if it isn't there already with what's been animated so far (the manga is already goat status).

The episode is pretty good, and the action scenes were pretty good too but at this point we can all agree that S1 has better fight choreography, I'm not complaining about S2 though, the fight scenes are high-quality stuff here but S1 is better in that aspect IMHO.

I didn't understand shit about Gojou's abilities and how he survived but whatever, Gojou was high as fuck too, and was almost turning into a bad guy in the end and almost went into a killing frenzy, why are those people even clapping? what the hell even happened here?

And finally, I want to know why Getou turned into a bad guy, it probably has something to do with the thing he has in the forehead in the previous season & movie, it looks like a brain transplant or something. Anyway, good stuff here, this is a good episode.

this is what the best new gen anime looks like

"No one can rewrite the stars
How can you say you'll be mine?
Everything keeps us apart
And I'm not the one you were meant to find
It's not up to you you
It's not up to me
When everyone tells us what we can be
How can we rewrite the stars?"

The good: Love the Explanation of how Gojo's Limitless works. Simple concepts, Limitless stops, blue attracts, red repels, purple deletes

The bad: The Ex Machina and subsequent steamroll. There was pretty much no challenge at all. And Gojo enhanced his technique, not his reflexes yet he is able to dodge every strike with minimal effort. THis part didnt make sense to me.

So I cant give it a perfect 5. The last bit had too much holes. But Very good episode overall.

Toji is a force to be reckoned with as with Gojo, he had little issue with dealing a crushing defeat to Geto. However, his time would be up when Gojo came back for him, revealing that it was his use of the reverse cursed technique that saved Gojo's life.

His chaotic nature made his rematch against Toji was overwhelmingly one-sided, before using purple to blast Toji's left side to bits, along with the structures behind him. Toji thinking of Megumi during his final words before dying was a bit sad, I must admit. Riko's death has definitely done a number on Gojo and Geto, with it being the moment where everything changed between them.

Just like with previous episode, the sakuga animation during the fights was top tier and the same goes for the usage of the OST. I look forward to seeing if the next arc can match this one, which it has set the bar high right now. =)

This season just keeps on delivering, every episode has been amazing and better than the last.

This was possibly the best episode of JJK so far, that whole final fight was absolutely breathtaking. Loved Toji; he had such a great presence and great charm and he had a great death scene here. Best villain in the show so far.

Gojo’s enlightenment was absolutely breathtaking! What a scene, man. MAPPA really outdid themselves; the music and the art was immaculate. The “purple” scene has to be single best moment of JJK so far. To me, this season will become one of the all time greats of the whole shounen genre if it keeps this quality up.

Geto Suguru vs. Toji Fushiguro, it's the longest of longshots that even has him dumbfounded of how he even managed to defeat Gojo in the first place.

Part of the fact is that Toji has the Heavenly Pact, but that more impressingly, Toji can keep his calm while addressing Geto's questions, though in terms of power, he clearly overwhelms even Geto.

With Riko's capture to the Star Religious Group, the Time Vessel's representative of Shigeru Sonoda, he's more than ready to ever use Riko to prove their standing as a group of religion. With the deed done, Toji can rest in peace knowing that he has money to boot, though finding Gojo alive and well isn't part of his foreshadowing through his reverse cursed technique, now perfected to fruition of Neutral, Blue and Red, though his trump card is one that he thought he could still have a moment of victory against. That is until the fusion of Red and Blue into Purple, for someone that was rejected out of the Zen'in clan and someone who wanted to take down the Gojo clan, but failed in pure, absolute decimation.

With the dead Riko saved in Gojo's hands, all he wanted to do was the decimate the Star Religious Group, though that's not a possibility that would test the friendship of them both.

2-for-2 masterpiece episodes in a row, Jujutsu Kaisen is hype.

am i the only one feeling like this isn't even the same series anymore? there were special techniques in the first season, sure, but more than half of this episode was just dumb magi-babble explanations of why infinity is the strongest by my infinity plus one is even better and i brought my dinosaur that eats force-field dogs etc. why are we even here? why is every new entry in the franchise so far a flashback to something even earlier in the timeline? does no one else find that kind of storytelling incredibly tiresome? i got into this show for the goofy Naruto-like protagonist not to find out what his suspiciously marketable to a female audience Blue Eyes White Kakashi was up to when he was a teenager. when i first started watching i had a great time, it was a fun story that knew full-well who it was copying and didn't get bogged down in pretentious bullshit. but this episode seemed to be diving headfirst into the pretentious bullshit.

its hard to care what happens to these characters when its a flashback and we know they're alive already in the future. propping up random teenage girls so you can kill them for cheap drama because the protagonists have plot armor is gonna get real old real fast. was the show actually trying to pretend Jujitsu was dead? were they trying to gotcha the small part of the audience that might be watching in chronological order for some reason? why was there so much pretending like they were ever in any actual danger?

anyway in short, i didn't like it very much, and my opinion is the only correct one, so please stop having wrong opinions on the internet
