Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.  |

Started thinking it was gonna be the budget Goblin Slayer x Solo Leveling collab. But that's to only be surprised with a sweet turn of events! A reverse isekai, something I was looking for from your everyday isekai weeb, and many in general were looking for. After watching The Devil Is a Part-timer season 1, I really wanted an adaption. But the adaption was not living up to my expectations/standards of even a decently trash isekai so I dropped it mid way even after wanting to really try my best to complete it. Eventually, with the spring of new anime, I found myself wanting to watch this anime out of keen interest since it came as one of the recommendations recommended to me by a website. And low and behold this anime turns out to be exactly what I expect of a reverse isekai, had my low expectations at first glance but then. Unpredictable plot twists, great animation, great music, great characters and great gore. Geek Toys studio are not known for making your top tier anime, instead there known for making mid to low tier anime like Date A Live or Plunderer which to be fair is utterly garbage. | Very Short Spoilers Ahead (From this ep): I was really surprised by the intense turn of events honestly. Modern technology and change of languages. But what's more is that I never expected it to be a person originally dead to be joined by a new soul. Normally isekais or generic fantasy animes in general would want to refrain from exposing identities or make sudden changes not sure why. But this anime is completely different and defies that. All in all, I really look forward to what this anime has to offer, it seems to have potential and more way for development. But I wont leave my expectations too high, since you never know what could happen with these wild cat isekais. Geek toys this year is much different from geek toys a year before. They have 35 employees vs 10 employees back then. Also this anine would not be as good as it is it was for DAL IV. Since it was a success that was how they were able to take on more work and get more contracts. Dal is not garbage but within the top 1% of anime franchises. Another factor to consider is the director worked on sao alicization. There are so many stupid people on mal who think the anime studios cannot grow and get success. They just need hits. |

| Interesting. Surprisingly better than expected. I hope the psycho girl stays dead, though her presence in the OP says otherwise. I suppose the hero will find way to this world as well. |

| Well that suddenly took a very different turn! This was a pretty good first episode imo though the horny schoolgirl assassin feels a bit... Ugh lol idk I didn't like them that much, but I enjoyed this overall. For some reason I didn't piece it together that the kid was actually the Corpse God. I thought that was Shagrua, but I think I like this more because of that! Also lol that post credit scene. He must've known they were dead right? Or are people just more resilient in that last world? |

| DAMN what a plot twist! Revealing that it was the villain how reverse-isekai'd to our world instead of hero probably just made this story twice as good as it would've been. I like how you're thinking it's the hero, especially when you see those eyes light up red, but then you have to remember: the villain had previously said to the hero: "you have those eyes... TOO!" So the hero of the other world, the "calamity crusher" or whatever his title was, saved his own world, but doomed earth. I wonder if those characters of the other world are going to realize their f*ck up and come to save earth, or maybe they don't care and will be satisfied that at least their world is safe, but I hope its the former that will be the case. The calamity crusher, or Shagura Edith IS listed as a supporting character, so I'm just going to assume that that's not the last we'll see of him or anyone from that other world for that matter.The script probably has planned for them to realize that the villain, the corpse god, is still alive and kicking, and is in fact gaining power rapidly in our world which happens to be full of spirits and magic he can feed off of, and still places a threat to them because no doubt he could probably become powerful enough to teleport back to their world. Whatever the case is, as far as first episodes go, this one has be even more hooked than usual. Can't wait to see how things play out. |

I don't think that's correct assessment. Everything that we got first episode is still present in future. It get more complex, introduce more characters and there is more humor I guess, but it just means it get bigger not different. |
