Maybe he means that a lot of scenes and dialogue from the LNs have been cut, and it still seems like there won't be time for a satisfactory ending. I feel like it was rushed because some of my favorite bits from the LNs got cut. And there is so much of the story left to tell, but it seems they may not even make it to a good conclusion despite all the scenes that have been cut. With only one episode left, I feel comfortable with the conclusion that this anime is average. Given the source material, it is really not even adequate. Our friends joking about Amane's couch being a main character are absolutely right. Obviously Project No.9 did not have enough money to pay someone to do backgrounds, sets, scenery, or even a decent living room. Most scenes are poorly drawn talking heads on a bare, static background. Now I probably have expectations that are too high. The light novels are great, and I have bought each volume as it became available in English. In my experience, the anime usually adds something to the light novel or manga. Whether it is the animation and art, the music and voice acting, or tweaks to the story to improve the plot or the pace, the anime is often better than the original. But that is not the case here. I think I will be in the camp that says: Read the LNs, and hope for a CloverWorks remake in 2024. |

| Only one episode is left, I can't wait to see what would happen in the end. Oh and that scene in which Mahiru showed herself without any stockings in front of Amane, she would look better if she went to school that way though. |

This LN is not that hard to read. It is not as tedious to read as compared to Unnamed Memory or Toaru Majutsu No Index. I can only hope that production committees stop giving big romance LN titles to Project No9. The next big romance LN title that gets an adaptation is Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings In Russian, owned by Sneaker Bunko (part of Kadokawa). Sneaker Bunko has outsourced Stepmom Daughter Is My Ex to Project No9 in Summer 2022, which the LN community criticised at that time. |

| Felt a bit like a filler episode to me. It was cute but maybe now my brain is in "just get together already" mode after last week's episode made them closer than ever. I think I'll really like the final episode and so that's what I'll be looking forward to. |

| At first I was enjoying the anime, but as I progressed the romance felt even more dragged and awkward, as they don't really do anything like a real person does, and everything production wise in this anime completely suck. Either way, I expect Amane acts like a real man in the next episode and do something about this weird situation they're in, at least a kiss would redeem part of it. |

| Best part of this one was definitely the first half, Amane gets the pleasure of a lap pillow plus getting his ears cleaned by Mahiru and ends up drifting off to sleep, which also happens to Mahiru somehow lol. This led to Amane managing to lead her to her bedroom which he’s never been in until now and we got a funny little bit where she wanted him to join her in bed to which he suggests her stuffed bear keep her company instead lol, he really played it off smooth, but the reaction from Mahiru the next day was as expected, very funny and cute lol. And it’s interesting to know she has a picture of Amane in her room, if Amane saw that I wonder how that would change things but sadly he was being respectful lol. The 2nd half of this one was a lot less of a cuteness overdose, with Mahiru showing her bare legs to Amane and then talking Amane up once again after the topic was originally about her image at school, it was definitely cute but I feel the first half was stronger this time around. And with one episode left, I’m not sure if we’ll see these two break this “pretty much together but also not” phase lol, it’s possible tho, would be a good finale for this sugary sweet show. |
