| Pls stop๐ฅฒ She is my absolutely favourite female character and it's sad enough for me that I always adore characters who has less screentime. But even when she is not always on the screen, she isn't less important to the series. If she wouldn't have met with Ichigo, the whole Bleach story wouldn't happen. Or if Ichigo's Soul Reaper power would have been appearing somehow without the help of Rukia, Ichigo would never go to Soul Society (because he wouldn't have any reason to go/he wasn't owing anyone except Rukia), he would never meet with the other shinigamis or be accepted by them, he would have no clue that Karakura is in danger and because of these, he probably would never trying to get (more) power etc. So saying Rukia's existence is not important to the series... She isn't always there, but their meeting and becoming friends was key for all the stuffs that happened afterwards. |

Rukia was always the first. You better believe she's important. But don't worry come 3rd/the 4th cour all the Rukia haters will eat their words. I'm not even an IchiRuki fan or a Rukia simp yet any average Bleach fan should know Rukia is an important character. |

| Rukia is the Zoro of Bleach. Just character filler/sidekick. Sadly even Bleach the best of the Big 3 doesn't have a true ensemble like HxH or AOT. Reason for this is that FMAB fans downvoted all characters so no one is protagonist anymore. |

| Rukia was one of the most influential characters in the franchise. She was the second most important character in the first arc and the entire Soul Society arc was about her inner conflict whether she is worth saving or not. After that Kubo didn't know what to do with her, like with all characters of the "main cast". Ichigo keeps going through the same character arc, Inoue became fap material, Chad is useless and Ishida seems like will be important but just eats up screentime. It will always about the Captains Class Shinigami mostly Hitsugaya, Byakuya, Kenpachi and Mayuri. These are the real protagonist of Bleach. |

| Rukia didn't have that many screentime after the Soul Society, only a few here and there during the Arrancar arc and so forth, I'm always loving Bleach because of Ichigo's journey and his character development. |

| The character bloat in this series has made a deuteragonist role impossible for a long time. It's supposed to be Ishida in this arc. She was a strong supporting character in the Hueco Mundo invasion(coming to terms with her mentor's death and defeating one of the espada), and before that the deuteragonist of the beginning chapters and soul society invasion. |
