| [Intruder/The Long Hair in the Attic] Well now I know that Intruder is much less interesting when presented in isolation, without the other Oshikiri tales. I'm agreeing less and less with the choices & selection made in this season. They also abridged Long Hair somewhat. And that teeth-grinding sounded more like glass than teeth ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . The stories in these 2-in-1 episodes tend to suffer adaptation-wise. |

| The intruder one felt so short. I wanted to see more. What if the "intruder" was those four? Second half is one of my favorites. That was really creepy. |

| omg again like the last couple I feel like this one gave me an insight into what Ito was maybe thinking when he wrote one of these (the hair story particularly) Having dated a girl with long hair, you start to find their hair all over the house and even on your body & even when they're not around, basically long hair gets everywhere. Even after a breakup you can continue to find that ex spouses hair dotted around the place, and it's like their presence is still there and a reminder of them. Obviously this is just a complete assumption but it made me feel like Ito likely came up with that hair story after experiencing this, and thought what if this leftover hair became malevolent, took over and decided to extract revenge! |

| This was just terrible. Nothing of Junji Ito's work is captured in these animated version. I keep imagining the story I read in manga form. The details in his animations, the suspense in mini panels, the 'page turner' to the unveiling of a horrific sight. All that is absent here. Every time I hope the anime does the suspense/unveiling moments better but in reality im just bored stiff. I have high hopes for the Uzumaki anime, which looks like they actually try to capture the essence of Junji's work |

| I liked the Hair story more. They really need to space out the stories 1 story for 1 episode. It's hard to become invested otherwise. |

| I really wanna know what happened with first story, did oshikiri bury all his friends? Because he was the only one burying at the end. What was the intruder doing there all alone at the end? Also why was oshikiri getting the intruder out of his grave and apologizing? Ahh I wanna know |
| Two new shorts! The first, about a boy that heart steps in his house and discover some terrorific in the garden zone. Weak to my taste! The second, about the hair, alive hair, it was cool, especially because the hair went with the head!!! kekeke |

| First story had an interesting premise. It was just a bad selection for a series of horror anthologies. This should've been a fully fleshed out show. Because the cast had chemistry and it's an interesting story that you want to truly see the end of. As a standalone story that's confined to an episode, it just leaves you feeling incomplete. The last episode was much better because it had a satisfying conclusion. She died and killed the selfish jerk that requested things of her while not truly loving her. Though it's a cautionary tale. People will lead you on and fuck around with you for 8 years, and never marry you or see their life with you. That's actually crazy. |

I think the story was conveying that there are people who will date you for years and make requests for the relationship, while having no intention of marrying you. He literally requested the perfume she should wear, the lipstick, the length of her hair, etc. He did that for 8 years, but he was never serious about her. Even when he said and did something sweet, taking her to the beach since she's never been, he admitted that he was just talking out of his ass. Something that meant so much to her, was just him talking out of his ass. That's why she killed him, for wasting her time and years. |

My comments were less about what the story tries to convey and more about what Ito himself might have thought or experienced in order to inspire the creation of such a story in the first place!

Plus the hair getting in my comb or brush. Especially when I detangle my hair. It just gets everywhere. My hair, my sister's hair, and my mom's hair. | @LuxuriousHeart honestly I doubt he minds lol, I was never really annoyed or irritated by it. I think if you're a decent person and dating someone you obviously like them enough to not be bothered by stuff like that. Parents even more so. If anything it just makes you think of the person, can be a bit bittersweet after a break-up, but besides that it's pretty innocent. I could be totally off lol, but after experiencing it, it just made me think maybe Ito also experienced something similar and then came up with this story. Nice talking to you tho! Hope you enjoy the rest of this anime! |

| The Oshikiri stories are some of my favourites, though you really need them all together to get the full effect. |
