| Man, you can never miss with Might+U. The way it was used to emphasize the consequences of this huge confrontation was excellent. All in all, this ended up being a really good first cour. After so many "okay" seasons, MHA is finally back. |

| And they're finally done dragging this arc out. I like how in the spite of all the destruction only two semi-major characters actually died. Twice, who got much better treatment, several flashbacks, a mostly competent backstory, and far more gravitas and tragedy to his death. Spoilered the second one just in case. But I guess this is the true "all is lost" moment for MHA. Dabi got what he wanted despite several people having an easy way to stop him and now the braindead internet mob is going to eat it up and we'll see things get "darker" going forward. I really hate that it seems like Horikoshi wants some sort of redemption for Shiggy. We're really gonna get another "He was the coolest guy" moment. I can feel it |

| We got a flashback where the League of Villains were moving around relatively haphazardly. This is also when Stinger asked Shigaraki what their ultimate goal was. Except for the fact that Shigaraki wants to "destroy" everything, we haven't heard of any clear goal from him so far. Returning to the current events, Mr. Compress was able to painfully free himself from Best Jeanist's steel cable and then set off to rescue the rest of his comrades as well. His identity disclosure was definitely interesting since his great-great-grandfather stole from heroes who took advantage of their position. Meanwhile, Midoriya learned that the fourth holder's quirk was awakening within him: Danger Sense. While I'm not sure how helpful it is and whether it can do other things with it, it's definitely going to require some training again. Stinger was also able to awaken Shigaraki, or rather, All for One. I'm not sure what others think of it, but seeing Shigaraki with All for One's face was kind of creepy. Retreating was by far the best choice All for One could have made. Escaping with the Nomus should also be quick, even if it means leaving Mr. Compress and Gigantomachia behind. Midoriya should have run out of power at all and still made one last attempt to stop All for One, which obviously backfired completely. I'm a little concerned as All for One mentioned that he would like to see Midoriya again when Shigaraki's body is completed. Despite the fact that Shigaraki killed a lot of people, caused chaos and Midoriya can never actually forgive him, at the time Shigaraki was swallowed by All for One it seemed to Midoriya that Shigaraki wanted to be saved. Yamashita Daiki's voice acting coupled with Might+U playing in the background was superb. I really didn't expect to hear this again in any episode. I'm really excited about the aftermath of this fight. One can only imagine how the public will have reacted to Dabi's little show. I have a hard time believing that we are facing dark times. |

| Thus ends the war arc. Not bad, for the most part. In a lot of moments did I feel like it was better in the anime than the manga, tbh. Still not a huge fan regarding the direction of the story, what with Shigeraki being the big bad and all, but it was still fun. Now comes the aftermath, which makes me worried since that's where a lot of the disappointment actually came from, but this can be fun too. |
| Oh boi... everyone is either heavily wounded/dying or dead. I'm still worried about my boi, Bakugou. He has to make it through this! Anyway, the heroes' defeat will certainly have a great impact in their society. Hope everything won't be too chaotic. Deku's little monologue in the end showed that Shigaraki was just another victim. It was unfortunate that he fell on the hands of the wrong man. Still, the League of Villains regardless of their strong feelings towards each other and towards their goal should be punished by justice. No matter how strong their ideals are, they committed crimes. They're fighting for what they think is right by doing wrong. This is twisted and I hope this will be addressed properly in the story. |

That's why they had to retreat. Shigaraki's body took so much damage. He could die if he kept it up. AFO knew that, so he prioritized getting Shigaraki into safety so he could heal and come back stronger. |

| Enjoy My Hero while it's still good, the next arc is pretty good but it's mostly downhill after that...the actual final war in the manga has been disappointing to me. |

| Ohh, caught up on this now. I don't really have much to say about this. Hm. The thing I'm waiting to see happen I guess happens next cour. The teaser for the new ending seemed potentially okay? |

It's Spiderdeku Time. Tho... Deku can sense danger, but can he react to it as fast as Spiderman? (since Spiderman's sense also lets him feel/ see where the danger is coming from and dodge it) ___ ___ ___ And so... the fight ends with both sides losing quite an amount of people. Tho I think the Heroes lose more, since a lot of Heroes actually died. Not to mention that propaganda video, people didn't see the Heroes fighting the villains and saving people, all they saw was the heroes "Killing" villains. |

| Sure the arc was good for whatever we had than everything since the last two seasons but that's it.. if there were highs then it was up until this point itself as for the things coming up after this, it'll resort back to quality we were suffering from since the last two seasons. |

| feels like this half of the season wrapping up. the heroes are completely devastated and the public's faith and belief in them fades following this. season has been okay so far, defo find my interest in MHA waning, wanting them to wrap up soon but feel that's unlikely. Hopefully this season ends strong at least. |

| Massive respect for Mr. Compress for escaping the bindings in one of the most extreme ways possible. His fortitude really was impressive! Looks like Shigaraki has escaped and this exhausting battle comes to an end. This arc feels like a massive game changer for the series and I'm looking forward to where things go from here. |

| Deku still isn't strong enough, and if it wasn't for the villains retreating, it would've been even worse. A lot of heroes are in horrible shape. Let's hope that they'll be okay. |
