| i had it 10/10 and then they show me a episode like this and i cant make it 11/10 i am actually debating if i should just on-hold this, MHA and CSM and watch all of them in 1 sitting for Pogness overload |

| Even better than EP6 <3 Byakuya's moment with Ichigo here is one of the most beautiful in the entire series and exemplifies its prowess in visual storytelling and dialogue. So many iconic panels in the Quincy invasion, with arguably the most iconic one in the entire series shown today of Ichigo being pleaded to save the Soul Society as he stands silently in the first downpour we're ever shown in the Seireitei. Somehow they managed to elevate this scene with state-of-the-art directing. It's no doubt in my mind that this portion of the story—with the invasion and the 'Everything But the Rain' mini-arc that shortly succeeds it—are the pinnacle of Kubo's writing. Aside from the radical expansion and acceleration of plot-points and all the twists that come with it, a lot subtext, symbolism, themes and wrapping of character arcs are executed in very powerful ways. Glad this adaptation is being treated as a passion project like it deserves; these last two episodes are why it's getting the amount of hype and acclaim it is and why it deserves it all. |

| they gave designs to the original 13 captains, not just shadows like in the manga, gotta some of these guys look cooler than some of the squad 0 members, that aside it looked like they survived the battle, so its weird that they arent around anymore |

| And the first invasion is over! Tsuru's storyboard was crazy! The animation doesn't rival last episode but it was still stellar! I've been enjoying all of the added content this adaptation has been giving the story and cour 1 is peak just like assumed. Hopefully they add this level of detail throughout the whole series run |

| 4/5 This is what ive been wanting from bleach's grand return... hopelessness portrayed in a realistic fashion and with great direction. Studio Perriot outdid themselves this time around in that department RIP Yamaji, you were a boss but everything withers away eventually, even fire. His death scene was done justice adding to the absolute misery & despair everybody is feeling in the soul society. We see more casualties raking up while Ichigo is trapped. He does somehow manage to break through, immediately confronting Ywach but not before that emotional request from Bakyuya, who is critically injured and in the brink of death at this point. Ichigo obliges his wish and a brief skirmish with Ywach ensue which was tastefully animated. The bomb at the end about Ichigo perhaps being related to the Quincies was a great episode ender. The Aizen flex was also well appreciated The direction overall both animation & specially sound designs were off the charts this episode Great shot compositions, pov throughout the episode which made the episode feel more urgent than the last. Also, good scene resolutions (not perfect) but better than the last 6 episodes. Overall, better than the last episode and more of this please! |

| I loved the anime only backstory of old Gotei 13 and Yhwach's battle and how they portrayed the entire scene fully black and white without censoring any brutality. Yhwach's entire speech about old Gotei 13 being merciless killers who obliterate their enemies without any hesitation was done beatifully. The new version of the beloved soundtrack, Nothing Can Be Explained's new remix was just amazing and got me ascended, elevated, purified my entire soul. It was literally anything I could ask for but even more. Amazing epsiode loved every second of it. |

| I'm very happy and screaming about this episode I'm still ravenous about the gorgeous animation, you can pause every frame and stare at it. The intro was beautiful too, the changed ending aswell, and Ichigo's moments were the best of the best. And the return of <i> the sad song </i>! Perfect, just perfect The soundtrack was so on point for this whole episode! (as always) |

| Saw the special ED on twitter. It's quite a banger and the visuals are clean af. Yhwach this episode was just a menance. Can't say more than that. Time for Ichigo. Rewatched the episode and I must say, this was just better than the previous one. Both were a masterpiece in my eyes. From Ichigo's arrival to him getting his sword destroyed. Every single moment that happend in between was just insanely well done. Ichigo's rage scene, his conversation with Byakuya, the fast-paced fight with Yhwach and the plot twist of him receiving quincy powers, Yhwach calling him his "son" in the dark? -> so many plot points and can't forget about Aizen who played a role. Some scenes had quite a lot of SFX effects which reminded me of the Fate fights, wasn't bad but a bit too much at some point. I really wanted that raw sword fight between them (which was shown quite good tbh) but for a longer period. Aside from that, the Gotei 13 special ED was incredible (haven't spoiled myself) and all the OST's used were PHENOMENAL.  |

| Back then the soul reaper captains sure looked like villains. But their combat ability was well earned and showed in that display. But the song that played during that scene was a perfect match for it. Damm man never expected old man Yama to lose though. Still its undeniable that peace has made the reapers weak while the quincies had used their time wisely. The soldats are a good example of this as while inferior to their elites they still were fearsome foes. Its the fact that Byakuya cares so deeply about his men that he took it so hard. Ichigo's fight with the boss though was damm impressive. Though against someone with twice his life experience still not enough. Egressing from the society via portals though was pretty suave of them. The ending giving us a look at the old captains in comparison to their current counterparts was a nice touch. |
