We're in endgame now. I never like it when a character's life span has already been decided. 2 months is just too short of a time for anyone to have. Alan institute's mission sounds like a cult to me. There's no way Mizuki and Kurumi are gone just like that. They will return and when they do it will be with a blast!

What never ceases to amaze me, the secret organization Lycoris takes Majima's moves at face value. Like, you're dealing with someone who's clearly not your regular terrorist and yet you're willingly to charge into his lair thinking it's not a trap? Kusunoki is a bad commander.

Takina... everyone will find a way to save you. Just you wait, Chisato.

Does this imply that this anime ends at Season 1?. Gives me vibes it will end here.

This has become way serious now as compared before and the dumb things has gone away. That's good.
As much as I like this series, I don't think continuing to season 2 is a great idea. A good closure fits this show better imo.

Can someone explain me what Yoshimatsu did to Chisato? I really didn't understand that part.
Like, he wanted her to be a "weapon/killer" but she didn't want to kill and so now he wants to kill her? Is that it or there's something else that I didn't get?
I'd be happy if anyone could explain it :3

Sort of a more emotional episode, with it seeming like the ending is going to be not a very happy one, which isn't a bad thing. Definitely interested with how this final showdown is going to go.

The Japanese population overall is highly apathetic both to domestic social issues and to problems in the world and prefer to pretend those things don't exist, or they simply don't know about them because they're not covered by mainstream media.

Between truly showing 0 concern and puting a pfp with a flag or some colors to show how "commited you are to current thing", I'm gonna stick with the japs on this one.
People don't really show interest on anything outside their inmediate surroundings that can affect them or their family, unless they have something to win from it (on current age this is usually, just clout), and usually even that is just the minimum amount of signs of your support to win "points" with your acquaintances.

So you think it's better to let the failings and evils of the world multiply and rot a society from the inside out than to even be slightly concerned about them? What cynical, nihilistic nonsense. Yes, virtue signaling on social media is toxic, but to use that as a reason that no one should ever advocate for awareness or change is ridiculous. Getting people to care about an issue is the first step to addressing it.

If he wanted to kill Chisato, his assistant would have done so at the clinic. It's possible that he has a replacement for the heart he wrecked and was going to use it to persuade her directly to "fulfill her mission", but he got captured by Majima instead.

I know... deus ex machina harms the story; it is the lazy way to solve the climax.
Chisato or Takina dying is bitter.

Simply put, he did not get what he wanted from Chisato, then he made it happen in such a way Chisato will die earlier.

If you really consider virtue signaling on social media a way to make awareness you are either naive or part of the problem.
I don't see how you extract that first sentence from my comment, but in any way, shape or form you invalidate the truth i told, that people only care and act if that "evil" happens on their environment.

You can talk as grandiose as you want, but in reality you don't care about external problems as long as they don't affect where you live (and it's okay, you don't need to solve problems in other hemisphere, only in your community), and showing "concern" by farming likes by showing your "support" to one problem that just so happens to be the only one at that given moment that actually has coverage and reach to everyone on the planet makes nothing, just feed your ego.

I don’t see Chisato going into killer mode cause of course it would not be in-character for her unless she sees someone she cares for dearly get seriously hurt. So I’m anxious as to know who might that person be.

Fair enough, even if she goes into killer mode, so far her character has made it clear that no matter how horrible the situation becomes, she is never going to kill anyone. Well, maybe it will change if it is Takina, Yoshi or Mika. It is exciting though.

1. His goal is to destroy Enkuboku and expose Lycoris existence to public, so high probability he just use that hq ambush as some kind of chance to converse with his enemies.
2. Lycoris value order more than their life, as shown on episode 1 where they lack initiative on the field because of waiting order.
3. ?
4-5. DA did try to ambush Majima in the tower, if they can bait him and voil his plan, why not take that chance? as for control room, their intelligence might get outsmarted, just like how they keep losing Lycoris before this attack but still having big ego on their intelligence department.
6. They prepared extra measure, but Robota already prepared backdoor to prevent that. Remember the police HQ attack scene where Majima plugged his usb on the police head computer and this episode scene where Robota said "I've prepared it for today" or smth?
7. As shown on episode 9, Chisato not only dodge bullet but able to perfectly counterattack each of her opponent in a moment. Though, not for sake of plothole, but I did wonder why Yoshi is obsessed with Chisato being killing machine.
8. Yoshi didn't try to kill Chisato, it is implied that he's trying to force Chisato into killing people again by shutting down her current heart then give her a new heart if she killed people. It's also probably just Alan institute quirk to tell everything in enigmatic code of "fulfilling your purpose on this world", in episode 8 also told like this.
9. Majima's aim is, again, to expose Lycoris due to his dissatisfaction of some secret service ruining the balance of peace by hiding everything and taking care of everything. That 1000 gun could pretty much tell society that Lycoris exist if they tried to arrest anyone who has it and the commander did'nt realize his true intention. Also remember when the police HQ got attacked? the police in charge of guard duty didn't react properly on the gun brought by Majima's henchman, so high chance that the police on this world grew incompetence due to lack of real threat that's already eliminated by Lycoris. Let's not also forget that the show narrate lot of time that the country is the safest country in the world.
10. DA focus is to determine whether the gun will be used to assault Enkuboku, thus having them outsmarted on the real purpose of exposing them.

I'll be glad if I also get that credit of "this user didn't login for two years only to comment that this show is bad lmao", I never spend so much time trying to list the plot of any show before.

Oh yeah, also didn't agree with Majima's ideology. If peace can be preserved with smaller casualty, why obsessed with having the society to solve all the problem themselves which definitely gonna cost more casualty? Though yeah DA suck because having secret police eliminating every threat is indeed scary (you never know when you become target), but his aim is pretty much to have riot/terrorist everywhere then have the society to deal with it themselves for them to know how peace actually got, yeah nope

Alteast Majima/Makishima shogo clone delivered a good burn to Takina for her being too forward in asking questions. Even I found that too out of character for takina.

Anyways, if you want a better and more realistic series dealing with actual counter terrorism and with actual stakes being involved, I recommend u watch psycho pass.

Majima in here is a near clone of Makishima Shogo and not original. So if you think Majima is great, check out Makishima Shogo instead in psycho pass.

Majima is quite the mastermind and all but he can't be compared to Makshima. Man's way above leagues.
When someone asks me why I like anime, I'd say Just Because.

1- His goal would be easier to achieve if there were less lycorises in his way. He could converse with them before detonating the place. Even if they discover the bombs before he blows them up we could say he at least tried. Though we know he's not that invested in killing lycorises, it still would've helped. The only thing I could think of is if they had no time to place traps before evacuating the place. But there's nothing to suggest that.
2- They don't think that the place is booby-trapped, which is weird. That's the only thing I can say for why they're not running away. We could've inferred that the place is secured, and that's why the commander is there. But the scene we're shown is them entering the room for the first time. So a single line/short scene where they establish that the place is safe would've been appreciated. (This is addressing Nazg's point).
3- I guess Majima just wanted to taunt the DA. I think it's stupid. But I have nothing else. (again, addressing Nazg)
4-5 If they can change the traffic to whatever they want, why not force him somewhere away from people and engage his convoy there? If we're to assume they don't want to make him aware of them tracking him, because he might start opening fire in the street, then why not attack him before he rode the elevator? We can assume that Majima took a back entrance to the tower, so why not attack him then? Why not cut the power to the elevators? Why did they think that he'll only attack that floor? He could've easily concured the entire tower minus one floor and the DA think that's ok? And it's not intelligence that made them think he'll target that floor, they just predicted that.
6- Again, just cut the power. You're telling me Japan is so advanced they don't have on/off switches anymore?
7- Yeah Yoshi doesn't seem to give a shit whether Chisato is the best lycoris or not, he just wants her to kill. It's just stupid.
8- He didn't kill her, he just put her on deaths door with the choice of either killing to live or dying. The point still stands. The show conveniently tells us that the alan institute can't make contact with the children, that's why he never told her. But also, Yoshi definitely made contact with Chisato when he ordered her heart be fucked with, so it's a contradiction. It's all so stupid for the sake of allowing the plot to happen.
9- All 1000 guns have to be easily found, by people that are as dump as the person we see picking the gun up, for his plan to work. Even then, if you just hear that one man died because he picked the gun up you would be on your gaurd and not touch anything. And again, if they're hidden in places like under a bench at a park, the police should be able to find them before any citizen, especially with the emergancy state that was annonced. And the police station attack has so many problems it deserves an entire post on its own. If you want to hold the position that the police are incompetent, we can get into the details, but I can't agree that they'd be this incompitent. And what happened to the military? are they also not aware of terrorism?
10- The DA has always kept an eye on everywhere. That's how they prevented attacks so far. How do a bunch of terrorists get to hide guns all around the city without them being caught in the act?

And welcome to the team of writing long posts discussing plots! We have fun here ^_^
Majima is a terrorist, and he wants people to know and fear him when he does terrorist things, plain and simple. I just think the DA and Alan institute have so many things wrong with them that I can't support them either.

The character moments were again good this episode with how Chisato dealt with the fact that her way of living was completely contrary to what Yoshi-yoshi wanted from her. Which is for her to become a hitman. Why? Dunno. The idea for Majima's storyline is also vey good, with the guy questioning DA's practice of being the judge, jury and executioner. The idea, that is. I have no clue why he put guns all over the country or what sparked that belief inside of him.
