Another good episode. Midori is a HiME and becomes one of the teachers of Mai's classroom at the end. I'm really liking Midori so far.

Midori is one of my favorite characters overall.

Though how one becomes a teacher at 17 I will never know....

I have a feeling that she's older than she says she is. At 17 she would be a student herself, so it doesn't make too much sense.

Midori has got to be older than 17 XD
Wonder what she really does.

Who would've thought a former waitress could be so badass. Obviously, she has been a hime for a while.

I suppose she might have been a child prodigy who finished standard school several years early and started graduate school at 16.

It's no more impossible than the rest of the show...

The innuendo at the end of the show was clearly implying that Midori is lying about her age. She is probably 21-22 or something like that.
But who would expect the silly clumsy girl to turn out to be upper badass and a teacher.

I don't really like or dislike midori, but why is a waitress who has trouble even balancing a serving tray able to conduct herself perfectly in battle? *sigh* thats anime for ya

It's a long shot, but I'm wondering if Takumi's refusal to accept Mai's help to carry the wedding equipment prefigures some character growth.

Guys, this episode is a big reference to the seiyuu of Midori.. yah.. English dub watchers will never get it..

Midori's seiyuu is Yukari Tamura.. and as a side note, the Sister's seiyuu is Kikuko Inoue.. Midori referred to Sister-san as her sensei in the next episode preview.. Why?

Kikuko Inoue always calls herself "17 years old" (井上喜久子17歳です). Fans would refute her jokingly with "Oi! Oi!" (roughly equivalent to "yeah right"). To further promote her ideal, she founded a "cult" of "17-year-olds" (Juu-nana-sai Kyou, 17歳教). Current cult members include Yukari Tamura, Sakura Nogawa, Rina Satou, and Yui Horie.

so yah.. when Midori keeps on claiming she's 17, Yukarin simultaneously does so as well.. and the exaggerated part of Midori's entry claiming to be a saviour of the world fighting for justice, love and friendship is a blatant mahou shoujo reference (which is weird because this is already technically a mahou shoujo show), and Yukarin seems to be quite known for doing mahou shoujo roles..

I don't get it. How and why is this labeled Shoujo-ai? I know I'm only on episode 6 but I've read some other people saying this shouldn't be labeled as such too.

Also, Mai is the worst MC I've seen in a while. It's like Misaka Mikoto but even worse.

Oh. Dumb me just realized the himes have a weapon AND a child. So I am wondering when Mikoto is going to summon her child, since she only used the sword so far. Unless the sword is both her weapon and child?

Anyways, Midori's child looks great and I like how it uses the wheels to summon wind. Nito. I also like Midori's halberd. The character herself is amusing, too. Midori become the teacher came out of nowhere, though.

Nice episode.

Don't worry, it'll be explained further in :)

I've always thought Midori and Gakutenou were super badass. Their theme is cool too!

Yeah Midori is definitely not 17, she's actually 24.

So the annoying moron character who functions as a plot device to mess things up turns out to be a hime herself, and a bit of a chuunibyou. I wonder if she is another one of that teacher's Kohais, going by her reaction at the end.

And that conversation between Mai and Shiho hopefully didn't sink the Tate and Mai ship.

The secret was out with Midori at the start of this episode when we saw her with that weapon, but she’s a pretty cool HiME, her monster pet thing looks epic, and I like the whole hero of justice thing she has going, kinda reminds you of a magical girl. And not only that, she’s now a teacher at the school, it’s gonna feel a bit weird because she seemed like one of the students to me but I’m sure it’ll be fun, also she is definitely not 17 lol, can’t tell if she’s older or younger.

And as cool as Midori’s fight was, she was downright devious leaving all that work to one girl at the restaurant lol, not a good impression at all.
