Áwesome revenge concert especially the part where Tae just groaned and the whole stadium repeating similiar to Freddie Mercury with his ''EEEOOO''. Bit of a cliffhanger there at the end with the alien ship and Kotaro coughing blood but just like s1 this was a great season.

6/10 like S1. This might be the first and last idol anime I see. That doesn't mean it was bad it's just not for me. The ugly CGI when they were dancing also didn't help.
I'll miss glasses guy.

wait.. I thought something about the last scene (UFO or whatever) that could have killed everyone in Saga. We know from the title of this anime is "Zombieland Saga", a saga island inhabited by zombies? is it possible that everyone there will become zombies? well..

i am stupid/insane or was that tae scene a reference to this performance?? it was wasnt it????

Beside Tae scene is reference to Freddy Mercury Queen's concert, this is other trivia taking from wiki:
1. The Saga people coming to Franchouchou's concert makes several references to the "Portals" scene in the 2019 movie, Avengers: Endgame.
- Coco's landing is similar to Pepper's appearance in the Rescue Armor.
- Maimai's "One, two, chouchou!" rally with her classmates and Saga's people behind her is similar to Black Panther's "Yibambe" rally with the Wakandans.
2. The ending is reminiscent of the film Independence Day.

If you want character closures and sequel hints, the series already drops a bunch of them.

Sakura's story is basically Kotarou giving her the dream after Truck-kun cut her life short. The few flashbacks we get imply everything.

Tae's story is implied by the one graveyard scene where she ate the apple offerings at her family's gravesite. Her legendary status she cultivated all on her own throughout the entire story.

The UFO Independence Day and Kotarou stepping on his blood implies there is no need for a sequel. Kotarou puts up the middle finger at his illness, which is to say his dreams have been achieved and there is no use crying about his genetic condition; the viewers shouldn't care because Kotarou says it's irrelevant. And of course, aliens blow up Saga just because.

Anyone know what's the name of the OST used in the part where everyone is coming to the concert?
And the release date of the CD with all the OST (not the insert song because they are already out)

There is a similar version of this OST in season 1 (named "Light of the Fighting Spirit"), but i'm looking for the season 2 version

SAGA IS SAVED!!!!!!

FRANCHOUCHOU!!!! BEST IDOL GROUP IN MY HEART!

Amazing performances, I feel the energy of the concert, and I tear up a little bit.

Tae-chan crowd controls make me laugh lol.

AND WTF AN ALIEN SPACESHIP!!! LMAO, we go Independence Day on Saga now?

SS3 is gonna be WILD, battle with alien idols? XD

Overall, 100/10, I want more Franchouchou.
Anime is fun.

I'm really glad this sequel didn't go to the routes of most idol series that need to join in a competition. Instead, we get an inspirational idol group series with many wonderful character developments. I didn't think that we will be getting 3 whole songs in an episode, it is more like a concert than an episode. >.< I really love this episode and the series itself!

Btw, that ending with the laser... and that something like a UFO... what the-?! XD

Is there a sequel? I would love to have it! XD >_<

Anyway, I don't know why but I'm most attracted to Junko, Sakura, and Koutarou's character.

I will probably miss Koutarou's obnoxiousness and his annoying noise.
Sakura's maiden-like behavior.
Junko's cutesy.
Tae's awkwardness.
Saki's manliness? XD
Lilly's adorableness...
Ai's competitiveness...
Yuugiri's...
Welp, I'm outta words but overall, I love Franchouchou. They're one of the best idol groups I've seen so far in a series.

P.S. I do wonder why Koutarou is wiping that red/blood-like substance on the floor. Is that his? O.O

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

NO ONE MAKES ME FEEL MY OWN FEELINGS
0/10

it was really well done, very moving; i'd like to see more soon
the intrigue at the end kind of sealed it
i played music before and i knew a lot of people out there to just "get famous" but the best were the real ones that wanted to express themselves or reach out to others.
so when you tangle that up in such an interesting story i can't help but appreciate it.
they really outdid themselves this time for this season and i hope it reaches higher hights.

I'd say something about K-On! But it would only invite nonsense.

This season was so uneven but the best part overcame the awful ones to some extent, the end with aliens just highlight how this show needed less boring stuff like the Yugiri's episode and more of the silliness of Tae's episode.

Even when Koutarou is being vulnerable he still the worst, could care less what is the meaning of that blood.

The best part was Tae channeling her inner Jessie J, the rest of the performance was good.

Loved it when all the People from previous episodes turned up for support, really good ending. Nice songs to finish.
Season 1 was Good, this was way better, maybe knowing the characters made it so.
Did the ending mean anything??

Wow, what a saga. I love this series and I'm adding it to my favorites list. The ending couldn't be more shocking that's for sure and of course Kotarou bleeding and the aliens blowing Saga to smithereens helped with that too. This series had so many powerful moments (and singers @ Konno Junko The legendary number 4)

I indeed did, that was hilarious, all the members are legendary, hahahahaha!

Franchouchou's the best, this whole episode was such a nice finish for such an awesome season, which I enjoyed at least as much as Zombieland Saga's first, if not more!
GO! GO! GOGOGOGOGO! Do hope Kotarou's okay, the scrying scene was sweet as well as funny but the blood is concerning. For UFO stuff? I'll wait until I give my opinion, until after I've seen the movie, was definitely a crazy kind of ending cliffhanger though, haha.
Do hope for a third season!

For now, Zombieland Saga comes to an end and the show couldn't have a chosen a better conclusion. Franchouchou brings hope back to the people of Saga and our heroines reaffirm their hopes and dreams. Those final scenes hint at the new challenges Franchouchou will face but I'm confident the series will deliver the best story possible while doing the characters justice.

Goodbye, Zombieland Saga. Until we meet again.

jokes aside, this season was even better than the first one and i hope they're considering a 3rd one, if the anime and live action movies do well enough. i want to see more of franchouchou and kotaro.

Pretty good season. I always love watching music concerts in anime and this episode pulled through. Songs were great

Kotaro was shown bleeding. Maybe that’s the toll for reviving the dead or he could be a zombie already. I mean he never takes his shades off so he could have no eyes

In the final scene aliens nuke Saga. Will our Franchuchu zombies take on the aliens? Who do you think will win? Find out in the next season!

8/10
Hopefully they increase their budget for animation

wanted to comment more but unfortunately real life is extremely different from this show, even if it's amazing and adored even harder after this rewatch, and as much as i appreciate Franchouchou's efforts, i still can't find the same kind of motivation for anything and everything just seems worse and worse every passing day / year etc etc... It did end with two / too many cliffhangers and three years after next project seems in development hell even if this is a anime original one, but to be honest, i can accept how this ended. 10/10, improved season 1 in every detail and season 1 was already great, forever grateful to Japan for creating shows like this one.

I love Yugiri!!!!

While I love the anime, I am a bit of an idiot? ADHD? compulsive disorder? Need for consistency?

So i put off watching this anime for like 3 or 4 years because of the first episode.

Then they pull the same kind of shit at the end of episode 12.

...What ? Nani ? Qué ? Did the town just get oblirated by aliens ? Is that really what happened at the very end ? Uh... Well, let's not overthink it. That was weird.

Anyway, about the rest... Well, I have quite the same opinion as for season 1, that is : it's not a bad show, I like the characters and it's quite fun and endearing, but this is such a waste of an hilarious concept.
And yet, the drama isn't exactly bad, the double episode about Yuugiri's past was my favorite from the whole series, for example.
But I feel like the show kept struggling with what it truly wanted to be, and since it never managed to make up its mind it decided to just be everything. Absurd comedy, idol show, historical drama, POST-APOCALYPTIC, BAM ! You get it all, and you accept it.
The series turning into a non-ironic idol show (which was already the case back in season 1) was already quite a disappointment, but now with the curse and all... It's just too much, to the point it is getting messy.
Besides, I really don't think trying to give an explanation to the girls' death and rebirth. It used to be absurd, nonsensical, and it worked ! Now it's serious and it's not very good at it.
And it's a shame, because as I said, I do like Zombieland Saga. The comedy is good, the characters are never annoying (well except maybe Tae when she keeps growling and growling and growling again), and the Yuugiri episodes, despote being completely different from what the rest of the show is, were surprisingly great !
But it's really, really messy. That's its whole problem. It went to the point where our main girls barely received any development this season, that's stupid !
(By the way, while I didn't exactly dislike Maimai, I found her episode to be incredibly rushed and quite unnecessary if it weren't for how it gave Sakura the will to fight.)

Plus, the constant repetition of the message of resilience became way too much at times. It's a good message, but they're really not subtle about it so it ends up losing its meaning.

So... Yes, I like this show, but I wish it didn't feel like several shows blended into one without enough time to make it truly interesting. I give it a 6/10.
