| Both Eve and Rose really pushed themselves to the absolute limit in this match. Honestly, I didn't even care who won but it's their determination to succeed that makes them compete. On the other hand, I wasn't expecting Eve to get a knife pulled on her. Yikes. Eve leaving on the train was also a hell of a scene. She really made an impact with the friends she met. |

| Holy shit this felt more like a season finale rather than an episode 8. Epic conclusion to the golf tournament, so glad the kids and everyone gets a safe and clean place to live. And security dude that gave vipere info finally gets his girl! But I hate it had to come at the expense of eve’s safety and rose’s life. Was not expecting this show to get that dark. Excited to see how things turn out for eve in Japan. I don’t really see how things will get wrapped up in 4 eps tho, a second season would be dope. Great ep |

| Eve win was expected, sadly. But what even stop a hitman from killing Eve's family? I mean the mafia killed someone with a RPG broad daylight, the limit is very high. Vipere can escape because, boat. And Rose died without one soul to help her. |

| Rose giving up on life and dying seems like a decision solely made for cheap drama, not a development I enjoy. Lacking ambition may be one thing but I do not equate that to waiting for a hitman to take your life lol.... So your old trainer doesn't want anything to do with you, boo hoo, you knew that years ago. I've enjoyed everything up to that last scene. |

| Damn it Golf Mafia! Fucking Catherine you salty ass bitch! Rose's could haves is painful to watch lol. Well, she chose that life and didn't get to regret it because some hitman just unsubscribed her from life hole in one. Also Eve leaving her family behind really sucks. I want them to be there for her when she climbs the world of Golf. Over all, all the episodes felt like a prologue so I'm excited for the next arc. |

| Ayy Vipere neesan in a bikini enjoying her retirement. Perfect closing. Then, dang, i thought Rose already done for when she's losing arm. But guess it's wrong and almost birdie caught them all by surprise with her last great passionate shot. If only the one that fights her wasn't the protagonist. However, nope, she's rest in piece.... Complete version of her background story being told. A bad luck version of Eve story cause she choose to get involved into more deeper hole to the mafia thingy and lost the arm as the result of her, prolly a lost match like this one lives-staking match. Sad indeed, but that's the life she chose. Should not be a regret anymore. Because its surely giving Eve enough lesson to be tough against the real world of golf that soon she face, on the next course of arc. With that being said, Rose part with the mafia is clear, i'd say. Now, the other problem kinda be when she's about to facing Aoi mother. One more adult challenge ahead, and i don't know why, but one season alone kinda not enough for this birdie wing. Let's see.... |

| Man, I say it every week, but damn, I love this show. That felt like the end of an origin story or something, now Eve is on her way to become the best golfer in the damn world and drown it in a rain of bullets. I hope that means this is 2-cours, hell, I would love if it has a hundred plus episodes lmao. Rest in peace Rose, you were a badass. That one handed crimson bullet was goated. Feel bad for Anri though, her voice actor in the rooftop scene was great. Aye, happy for my man though, the bodyguard guy, I hope we still see Vipere again later. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| Good lord, that was an episode that should have been season finale. Great endings for the characters, both happy and sad. Eve can finally play against Aoi legally, her friends can lead lives without worry, the orphans can attend school and Rose knows from her teacher that Eve is a much better player than her. Also, Vipere can finally relax and kiss. That's gotta be the most important thing we know from this episode. |

| An intense episode that finally gets the girls what they need most in life.... money. Eve wins the face off with an impossibly cool shot. It was a birdie shot to be specific. At the end of the episode it shows silhouettes of Eve and Aoi with birds flying through the sky. That's a really cool easter egg, showing how Eve used a Birdie to get closer to Aoi. Glad the kids get to go to school and that the illegals became legal. Now they get to pay taxes hooray! Rip Rose guess she decided death was easier than escaping the underworld. |
| So Rose betrayed Leo's promise and paid the price for being in the Underworld with her own right arm to trade for a prosthetic one, clearly his lessons to Eve are worth the better effort. But Rose, handicapped by an arm, isn't gonna let her competition up, and Eve's reason to play golf with Aoi is just part of the reason that she hasn't conceded just yet, at least not on prowess alone. And amidst all that pressure, Eve has managed to win the bet and give Klein, Lily and the immigrant children hope to live another day with a clean record being citizens, thanks to Vipere and with it, her retirement from golf plus a partner to boot. Rose undoubtedly lost her life being targeted by the mafia, and soon Eve (under a new alias) will be another person on the chopping block. This will be the last time that Kelin and Lily will see Eve as she made her escape out to Japan to battle another match with Aoi for another time and play golf. Like many people have said, this definitely feels like a season finale. But there's Aoi's section to file for, and the final quarter will go to Eve and Aoi's re-match. |

| What an incredibly satisfying end to the match with Rose. The goddamn ball clap winning shot! Rose looking out for Eve til the very end like a true mafia mom, and the final image of the life Rose could've had. And now Eve gets to leave her family in a good place to go catch up to her girl Aoi in Japan. I shouldn't even be able to feel this many emotions about a fucking golf anime, and yet here I am sunk deeper in my feelings than Eve's final shot in the hole. Birdie Wing might actually be a masterpiece. |

| Rose is absolutely insane though! Despite losing an arm that she needs to properly control her swing, Rose is still able to hit the ball at full power! That's definitely concerning but Rose is clearly on her last leg. Eve ended up winning but going back home with a briefcase full of cash is more than enough confirmation that we need. They basically all get to start a new life now. Everyone gets new identities, Klein gets a new bard, the kids can finally go to school, and Vipere gets to live a new life of luxury along with her boy toy. Personally, I think Vipere's fuck boy is the real winner here. Sadly for Eve, it looks like she won't be able to enjoy this new life with everyone since Catherine has sent a hitman after Rose and after her as well. Since Eve is already planning to go legit, then she might as well run away to Japan and meet Aoi. I can't wait to see Aol's reaction once she meets Eve in Japan. They really saved the win in the after credits scene. The absolute disrespect of Eve bouncing her ball off Rose' own ball to score an eagle is so fucking good! As for Rose, she really has accepted that she's a dead woman and didn't even try to run away. Just one last meeting with Leo before the mafia arrives to blow out her brains. What a fucking way to go. This anime is just too fucking over the top and I love all of it so much |

Eve get to go to Japan and go pro and a new life Vipere gets to enjoy the world cruising with her fuck boy Lilly, Clara and the rest get lots of money and new bar, clean id and school life... And My girl Rose get lead in the head... Rose is one of the most badass women ever...sad past and such talent all gone to waste... |

| This episode was going hard on the feels. Definitely felt like a season finale( well it actually was the climax of an arc) RIP Rose. In other shows I would've called her last moments corny, here it was straight badass. |

| The direction and writing in this anime is just awful. The drama is laughable and this Mafia non-sense is just awful. It was more interesting when Eve was battling Aoi. Now that it's back to it maybe this anime will get good. |

| Did anyone else feel the match between Eve and Rose was so anti-climactic? And the whole resolution of that game to the shift to the new arc seemed so lackluster and out of the blue. It could have been paced and/or written better. And it just feels like this anime dances with too many drama-induced plot points instead of sticking to a sports story that was more interesting (the Aoi and Eve relationship/battles between them). |

| Welp... that was quite a tragic story. The drama is real in our Golf Story y'all. I got a bit bummed that they just showed a quick series of clips for Rose's backstory at first but, it made sense after I've seen what they did for the after-credit closure moment. Good episode for me. Nothing much from the Golf aspect as usual but, the drama entertained me. |

Mafia was more of a meme to me in this show, turns out it was real here Guess Rose's fate is now sealed, not expecting a twist where they'd come back alive so... RIP I suppose. Really felt like the last episode, but we'll have some more : that'll make a huge contrast since it'll probably be around normal golfing this time, putting all the mafia & dark stuff behind. Too bad Vipère will most likely not be present in this second half, similarly to any characters from the first part, except for Aoi & Eve. |

Even Helena Lobel who was seemingly teased as a main antagonist only reappeared very briefly during the tournament. But looks like some of them will finally resurface next episode. I think the "Aoi Arc" is just the "awakening" point of Eve's passion for Golf. Eve officially winning a tournament could possibly be the main story goal. |

| unless this gets a second season i cant fanthom how this anime would have a satisfactory ending lmao The episode was alright, I feel like the last scene could have been better with a better direction, it was quite anticlimatic as it felt both rushed and not as powerful in terms of lightning, while the generic gesture didn't help at all with any kind of surprise. The last imagination moment was somehow over the top too, a more subtle approach would have been lovely. The transition to the plane was alright though The role of the kids in the shows ended up being just a nuisance, but I suppose that the family arc being closed in a happy note is understandable. I would have liked a better approach to the relationship between Eve and her adoptive family (Like how she is always going a step further in order to help them), but I suppose that this is a golf anime huh The thematic proposition of Greed vs Ambition was quite achieved, while Eve firing up against competition have always been the most important engine of the story, the contraposition to Rose and her regrets did a really good job at enveloping such idea. If they didn't waste that much time in shitposting it could have been better though If Eve rise to fame then the hitmans would still exist, right? Or do they expire? I suppose that she is either done for real or this anime will forget it lmao |
| I believe this anime will have 2-cours. No way there will be enough time to show all the other characters in the opening in just 4 episodes otherwise. Nice conclusion to end Eve's underground golfing life and resolve the issues with the people she was staying with, finally leaving her free to go after Aoi and other pro golfers. |
| So my love/hate roller coaster ride with this show continues. And for me personally I never give up on a show, I see it through to the end and if I end up disliking it I won’t bother with a season 2 if a show that I don’t like gets one. That’s just how I do it and it’s most likely smarter to do the 3 episode rule but that’s how I do it. I only found out about this show when the spring season started and because I liked the pretty character designs( Eve, Aoi and Klein are beautiful) and competitions, I figured I’d give it a try. And so the roller coaster ride began. First I thought, wow this is pretty unique to what was that burning in the dumpster? I keep changing the score up and down like a yo-yo. Last week’s silliness brought it down to a 3 but I have to say this last episode brought it right back up to a 7. I’m looking forward to what I’ve been waiting for this whole time which is Eve and Aoi’s rivalry to become the main focus. Episode 8 really has me excited for the rest of the season. I even felt bad for a character I didn’t like at all during the final moments of the episode. Also I started to like stinky vampire, what a redemption episode for my thoughts on this show. So to everyone who has liked it from the start I hope you continue enjoying it and for anyone who has been up and down on this show and didn’t drop it I really think I can see something enjoyable now that the fire seams under control in the dumpster. Hopefully next week I won’t have the score back down to a 3, lol. |

| It's kind of impressive how many places they found to cut the ED sequence. For most anime it's a binary: either you run the ending animation or you lay the credits over the show and play the ending music in the background. Birdie Wing not only tries switching from the latter to the former, at three different points in the song so far, it made all of them work. |

For me the opening song is an absolute BANGER while its animation is a trashfire. They literally just threw every basic anime opening trope on the screen and barely made any kind of statement besides 'yep, there's golf in this one.' It feels like the OP is actively trying to keep you from learning how cool the anime is. |
