I mean come on bro...this is still technically considered ecchi despite the plot...Some people might find for example the way females are being portrayed there as offensive and be like okay imma give this show a 1 star...others might be like this is ecchi...shii imma watch this and give it a 10...It depends on the mentality of the people. I'm surprised it even has a 6/10.

I did actually like the ending and the plot, but it's still just this year's "It's so good I can't believe it's not hentai" anime, so more shouldn't be expected

If it was a hentai, then it would be decent, but as you can't even get that kind of enjoyment out of this, it's at most a 4/10 and that's generous. The plot is just bad, the animation is bad (again would be fine in a hentai). Every single character seems like a complete dumbass. And the whole package isn't even complete (seems arbitrarily cut off).

Responding to OP though I think it’s a 7 at best and that’s only if you can deal with the borderline hentai aspects imo. Plot was definitely more interesting than a lot of other ecchi anime I’ve seen I’ll give it that but the animation was just eh

the reason I gave it a 6 was not the story or the animation, just to be clear, I like the story, I believe it's a very interesting premise and I would like to see it evolve.

My complaints however is 2 things that just ruin the experience
1. the pacing, the show imo is going waaaaay to fast, there isn't a moment where u can sit and take in a new information provided as they immediately go the the next thing, almost as tho it never happens.
2. the characters, imo the characters are very plain and only one dimensional, making it almost hard to relate with them, thus if anything good or bad happens, i just find it hard to sympathize. HOWEVER, I will say that I really like shouta's charecter as it's genuinely well written upto this point. So credit must be given where it's due

all in all, average show, 6/10

nah this anime was really mid I gave it a 6/10 and that's a bit generous, fully uncensored would have been better

It’s a horrible adaptation of the manga.
Poor animation, direction, and overall poor pacing with many scenes being skipped.
It doesn’t help that the art-style (which is important for an ecchi show) was infinitely inferior to the manga’s.

If you liked it more than a 6 than rate it accordingly and ignore people's opinions about it. I enjoyed watching it even though i gave it 6. The animation was fine and it entertained me for 11 weeks so no complaints here.

But seriously, I think the anime gets bad rep because it was maybe unconsciously advertised to the "plot"-seeking audience and are unsatisfied with the MC as he is. I mean that's a bit disheartening how he's blue balling the supposed best girl of the anime (Mira) who is by the way basically useless now both narratively and in the world story itself since her whole life's meaning was oriented towards mc. Feels like she was just a bait in poster advertisement that got thrown in the trash after the main plot started :v

My guy, you've given a quarter of what you've watch a 10/10.

This anime was bad. The story pacing was all over the place, there are SO MANY unanswered questions that most of the time I would go read the manga to find out, but this is so bad it is not worth it. There were scenes where someone was talking and they had no mouth. This honestly could have been decent, but they jumped from character to character and stuck on this dumb child for most of the show.

Well, Japanese don't care about scores in MAL, so they might as well give it one without caring if the score is below 6 here.

On another note.To the OP, the animation definitely wasn't exactly good, but I wouldn't call it bad either, at least not until the last episode. The story was nice, but kinda slow paced due to being shared between different characters doing completely different stuff.

The animation was not bad but to call it good, no. For the story, with 6 episodes out of 11 focus on Doi f*cking his harem, no the story was horrible. I would have preferred to focus on Reito and the mystery of the MK Virus. I personally gave 6 but if the overall score was 4 or 5 it wouldn't have surprised me.
