| An unexpected Natsumi-centric episode, but it's something I'm more than happy to see and was probably one of my favourite episodes of the show so far. That close-up shot of her when she was running with Yuto was so pretty as well. Not sure if it was intentional or not, but I felt like the boy that tripped Natsumi in the flashback looked an awful lot like Hijikata in terms of his face. Probably won't ever come up in the long run, but an interesting detail nonetheless. |

| This is defo the first episode to almost detract from the manga, and I personally like this change seeing Natsumi's backstory. Touko's younger brother Yuto looks so much better, and Futaba is still a kid in Natsumi's eyes. Nevertheless, how the both of them are friends to this day sure come from a lot of coincidences to the horrible first impressions of a Chibi-senpai and a Gal-kouhai. Futaba's had a hard time in school, and Natsumi protecting her like a good friend should, she's easily the best friend whom we all need in a pinch of our lives. Spending time between the Kouhai and Yuto does feel nice too to bring up high school memories, and joining the clubs that they're interested in because they like to do the things they love and enjoying it. Futaba spending time with Takeda over Spring cherry blossom trees with the company department, and welp haha, he likes green and the scent of her hair. Draw something for Takeda in the future, Futaba. If there is an award for Best Friend, Natsumi would be one. |

| It was a cool and interesting episode. It served to show how important Natsumi is and it was for Igarachi when they were both minors. Natsumi is also a great character and person, she helped Yuto in his running training and motivated him. |

| Finally, a background story of Futaba's dear friend, Natsumi. This episode is really inspiring to watch! The ED really reminds me of someone who sang the OSTs of Dog Days. Anyway, Natsumi's background story is gap moe~ and Futaba's is kawaii~ |

| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| Nice episode, giving some background to Futaba and Natsumi, They influenced eachother nicely in school. Way to go, beating up that jerk! Sakurai knows full well what she's doing to Kazama. I like their relationship. It feels refreshing and unusual for an anime romance. I wonder if Takeda is just honest and ignorant about conventions when he says things like how Futaba's hair smells nice or if he tries to flirt and compliment her in an awkward-ish way. |

| That first encounter between Futaba and Natsumi was hilarious. But help me I actually cried with Futaba when her classmates were making fun of her drawing. I think this is the first time that we see Takeda being flustered haha. A flower viewing for the company workers, that looks nice and fun. |
| Natsumi's relationship with Futaba is finally revealed through their backstory, these two are such a great couple of friends, Futaba convinced Natsumi to do what she enjoys doing and when Futaba herself is being bullied because she wanted to dow that she can't do well in, Natsumi came in and reinforces that suggestion. To do what you love doing, even if you're not adept in it. That philosophy is clearly observable within these two girls even to this day, furthermore, Natsumi reciprocated this philosophy when she interacted with Yuuto. With that, Yuuto has the courage to pursue his interest despite his former lack of self-esteem. The power of positive advice is incredible... The benefits to one's confidence and self-esteem should never be underestimated. Alright, let's commend Natsumi for giving that bully a knuckle sandwich, that solid punch + the teachers' scolding are enough for them both to directly apologize to Futaba, on the other hand, well done on the bullies themselves because realizing their mistakes after being disciplined like that would allow them to create a greater more worthy character as they grow into adulthood. The nice little post-credit scene there with Natsumi and Sakurai discussing Yuuto's activities. On that note, I wonder what Natsumi's job is. I presume she's a game developer or something since she's a gamer and all. Why else would she need 3 monitors anyways? |

| I like to run too, just for a different reason (from my problems and pain) Natsumi may be a troublemaker but she sure is a great friend when it really counts (decimating all foes that dare to bully Futaba). |

| For as down-to-Earth as this series is, it's a little odd that they acknowledge Futaba having naturally green hair. But, I'm not complaining. Green is cool. Sheesh, everyone is always bullying Futaba. She's lucky she has such strong friends and family to protect her. I'm glad Natsumi got a solid hit on the one kid too. |

| Unexpected Natsumi episode, but I don't mind. I like her, best girl race between her and Sakurai is a close one. But you can never go wrong with a busty, tanned girl. |
| The fact that the students only wanted to call the teacher when Natsumi stepped in and not when Futaba was being bullied made me so mad. But luckily the ending of that flashback made my heart warm again |
