| Round 1 of Selection Project 7th Season is done, and now it's time for all 9 girls to stand out from the pack. Round 2: Summer Song, and you know what that means: A BEACH EPISODE, yeap, the trope is here. All 9 girls has to earn 100k Yells individually that's befitting of idols, and this is a great opportunity to showcase each of their physique for fanservice. Suzune however, goes for the normal one-piece school swimsuit (she eventually changed thereafter), which is a stark contrast to the rest because she is unconfident with how she'll look to all, and how she tries too much to imitate the deceased Akari in the exact same order. Don't forget that Suzune had a heart transplant surgery that saved her life, and that it created a deep scar on her chest. Good for Rena to help support Suzune, but it'll take a lot of confidence to stand out with an impurity. Everyone else streamed along as usual, but except for Rena who knew Suzune's secret, assumed that she didn't perform for 101 reasons of speculations, until some of the girls filed in an extra emergency meeting program so that they can discuss about issues regarding Rena and (most importantly) Suzune. Especially the latter breaking the news with her heart transplant surgery, with the cameras down so as to protect their privacy. That must've been hard to release the truth that amounts to a heart's burden. Hopefully Suzune can get back on her feet. But as I say every now and then: Here we go for some mindless drama! Sure does(n't) feel like Idoly Pride all over again... |

| So for the 2nd part they have to perform a summer song and get 100.000 votes for each of them, I'm sure some will get eliminated then, there is some swimsuit fanservice since they have to perform in that outfit, I was sure that Suzune didn't want to show her body because of the scar due to her heart surgery she had when she was younger, I just thought she was complexed but her explanations about why she didn't want to show it felt quite dumb in my opinion, well it's drama time xD |

| The beach episode for Idoly Pride 2.0 hahaha Beach episode with swimsuits is always good The theme for the second was a swimsuit and when Suzune know about it, we all know about her problem. Poor Suzune, it was a very hard time for her. 😭 Will Rena gonna do something? or the theme will be adjusted? Which it was quite difficult to do anything about the theme at this point. Let's see....., it will be very interesting to see that what Suzune and everyone will do next for the second round. |

| Love beach episodes. I just think that the part of forcing Suzune to use a school swimsuit to brew the problematic was too much. Seeing that at least 4 were covering the same cloth:skin ratio as Suzune. But thinking about it, Suzune practice outfit could had been worked as swimsuit. Rena advocating using facts, and the rest had to continue to push. |

I laughed and said she's gonna wear a school swimsuit and the next scene she literally did. As they are performing as individuals this time, why are their last groupings still the same? They should mix slash soda in with Rena and suzubaka. Gapscaps should remain. I can't believe nagi got most votes, utachans are starfish aliens should have gotten her 100k by itself. | Eh. Even if it does come off as an Idoly Pride 2.0. Honestly didn't mind it at all, and the reasoning too lol. Sure, it really could've been handled better, and not pushed this far. But Suzune wasn't given chance to, and when you aren't already open about it, it becomes almost impossible for you to be when in this situation. Then to be pushed like this. It makes it so much harder. It's very avoidable sure, but it can happen, and with a show like this, there needs to be some form of drama involved, to push it forward. |

| Really wish I could give Suzune a massive hug. I pretty much figured from the start she didn’t wanna take her hoodie off for fear of her scar, but that was very brave to finally come clean at the end. It’s funny tho because people can legitimately wear hoodies to the beach and have it look pretty natural so idk why the girls were so pressed to make her take hers off. The scar shouldn’t be something to be insecure about, should be a source of pride honestly. Pretty fair to say I like this more than superstar rn. |

| It was just a go-through-the-motions sort of episode and then they slapped us with that revelation. I feel really bad for Suzune. I might've not heard things correctly, but not only does she not want her secret about her physical condition revealed and how it would affect her performance, her days might be numbered (although I doubt they'll pull something that tragic). Even then, it was really a depressing moment, considering how her dreams may end right here. |

| Great episode! The girls had to wear swimsuits this episode. I don’t get what was so wrong about Suzune’s swimsuit though? Even though it’s a school swimsuit type it looked perfectly fine to me. Seems she was self conscious about a scar she had. I’m pretty annoyed that the other candidates are so persistent on asking about Suzune’s problem even though she says she doesn’t want to talk about it. At least Rena was on her side. Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Not going to lie, I was not enjoying everyone sticking their nose into Suzune's history. If she does not want to talk about it, leave her the fuck alone. Rena only found out by accident, but the rest was just being absolutely insensitive. I do think now that everyone knows, Suzune can move forward from here, but what will she do? Will she actually show the scar in the next live screening or not? Cause I can already imagine her getting a massive amount of votes just for that alone. |

| Mandatory beach episode ofc, and its also picking up the problem Suzune had, which, unfortunately become the dejavu for a certain other show. Idk how Nagisa and Uta had to be pair up in a beach volleyball match against those strong girls. Funny af seeing them completely useless and cute in the same time. The other just doin their own style walking on the beach, trying to gather every possible yell. Mama Mako with her comment about the laundry, tickling me. Look again to Suzune and Rena, they finally shared the secret. While became a big problem later. Oh well, not so good for their relationship. But at the same time, for a tv program with a reality show concept, that's a good scene of drama that might attract more watcher. Idk how they are not recording it. Midnight summit became a waste for them. Smh. |

| Round 2 begins. It'll be tough to get everyone through to this round. They scrapped by with about 100,000 yells each in the last round. So now there's only about 300,000 yells to go around this time. Or can the people voting increase as the show continues? Kinda curious how the Cheerers thing works. Secrets finally out and Rena tried to protect Suzune (perhaps half out of guilt of finding out the way she did) while Mako was being the mediator was nice. Even though Rena asked them, kudos for the staff stop recording. Nagisa's quite the pro at fan service. |

| Fuck man, I am tearing up. Should have enjoyed the swimsuit fanservice, but I couldn't fully enjoy it knowing what's going on with Suzune. The 2 smallest ones really paired together for the beach volleyball lmao. Ao and Mako together were to OP. Nagisa really knows how to please the simps with her schemes. I am really liking all the girls so far. It was a good idea to split them into groups and then focus on each one of those groups on different episodes, we got to know them better. Can't really blame the girls for questioning Yuzu, they're in a competition after all and I guess you could say it's unfair that she's' the only one not taking the swimsuit seriously in their eyes. It's not just about hiding the scar too, there's also the possibility that she'll win just because of sympathy, so it's nice at least that Rena made them shut the cameras off. Good thing the reality show folks were kind enough to do so. But I guess it's a good thing too that the other girls know. Really looking forward to the next episode. |

| i know that they were like this just to make that big reveal of suzune but damn these girls have absolutely no sense of boundaries. again i know that its just done like that to make suzune reveal it to them but Eh didnt really like it of course it could've been covered by a different swimsuit / make up BUTT anyways! on to the positives: everyone looked great in their swimsuits, suited them a lot too though i kinda wish they'd put on something a lil different for mako💔 |

| nice to see Rena suddenly start caring about Suzune. Liking this part of the story, scar from the operation causing problems in shoots is something that would eventually happen, so it does not feel forced. Looking forward to how they resolve this. 5/5 |
| A bit of drama in this episode ! Ironically, I'm sure that Suzune would win the public's support if she revealed the existence of her scar. Not that it would be easy for sure, but she would definitely not be "punished" because of this scar. |

| I love Nodoka, her swimsuit was on point, poor Suzune, that scar must be such a heavy burden, it is what saved her life but it is a no good for an idol, sucks how a lot of the girls were all bitchy and bossy about her decision whether to show or not her swimsuit. |
| I have watched a lot of anime with beach fanservice ep but damn this was not fun at all, I couldnt enjoy the fanservice cause of what was going on with Suzu and with how everyone outside Rena fuckin bullied her into coming out with it, I am surprised that out of the whole cast, Rena would be the one to stand up for her (albeit she was being twitchy at first too but at least she made up for it) worst part wasnt just forcing her to come out with it but the silver haired bitch accusing Suzu of scheming some shit that obviously only she would do, like bitch stfu. |

A beach episode that isn't enjoyable at all. I just want to se how the history's evolves for Suzu and Rena and the rivalry/friendship of them. Everything else is just off. |

| The way this was handled made me dislike a lot the other girls. They were extremely insensitive and kept pushing like she was doing that on purpose just to get more attention. Now I can only like Rena and Suzune. But I'm fine with that since they are the most important part of the plot anyways. Indeed Idoly Pride made this plot work better imo. Well, ep 7 is already out but since I'm being pretty late to watch new releases, I needed to comment this here before watching that. |
