Gotta say though, the team put on a scary look when they're all focused on a goal together. Mikihisa entering this episode was entertaining but also important. She even slapped the trio! LOL |

| Mikihisa was so bad ass today. Absolutely loved how he just showed up and shut everything down without a fight. The slaps had me dying, but the girls definitely knew what’s up to retreat. Next week’s episode is what I’ve waited years for. |

| The fight itself was just ok this episode, but shit turned up when Mikihisa appeared, what a chad father. Plus, the parts with Anna, the kids and the golem was pretty interesting. Really looking forward to the next episode, since I heard it's one of the best parts of the series. |

| Next week, Osorezan Revoir starts. I've wanted to see this arc animated for a very long time now. |
| Things are beginning to look ugly for Yoh's side, and Anna won't flinch at any challenge. Tamao has definitely seen a lot of improvement though to stop Hao's Team Hana-Gumi on their tracks. Redseb and Seyarm's memories to avenge for their father by participating in the Shaman Fight to find the killer, that's a lofty goal. The emeth Golem that he left for both children, it's already interesting that the memoryless Seyarm can control it by summoning, so at least it's a useful weapon. Sadly though, both Jun and Tamao's Shaman powers aren't enough to topple the Hana-Gumi girls often mistaken as wiitches...until Mikihisa arrived in style. The way he handled Kanna, Matilda and Marion (plus Tamao and Jun)...is very intriguing, what a chad father figure to lay sound advice instead of taking up arms to fight to the death. At least for the Patch Tribe, they've learning more of what they could, and this cannot be stopped. Mikihisa is Best Daddy. |

| Oh, I completely forgot Mikihisa was the daddy before papa Shirogane. Sadly, pacing is still bad. Things like "we're in a hurry so let me tell you my sad backstory" don't help either. Maybe I'll just read kanzenban again somewhere from the middle. |

| This episode had such a missed opportunity. You know how Mikihisa's Spirit Allies are a red tanuki and a yellow fox with bronze-looking tails? Like... Ponchi and Conchi are? Except that the former are much bigger, more competent in battle, and don't show any sign of personality... Like, they're so clearly the same design but also so clearly different, and the anime has declined to bring any of it up. But what's this? Tamao and Mikihasa are both getting in spirit battles today? And now Mikihisa's arrived at their location? Do I sense a moment of P + C interacting with the other two beasts? Finally, at least one of my questions will be answered! ...Or not. |
| Matilda's spirit is a Jack O'Lattern + Jack the Ripper. Ghost of the actual serial killer??? Would've been a great moment for Pyron to paraphrase Bruce Lee's water and extinguish Bismarch's cigarettes upon learning Ashcroft uses smoke as a medium. Tamao is Mikihisa's apprentice which is why his spirits are appear like stronger versions of hers. Redseb mentions his and Seyrarm's ancestor created the original golem, so they are presumably Jewish. Straight from the barbecue, gigachad Mikihisa slaps the members of Hanagumi and gives them what they need. Hanagumi show how fearsome children can be when given great power, which is why Mikihisa is serves as a father figure to Redseb and Seyrearm, as the modern robotic golem their father created is so dangerous that even Anna shows concern about it. |

| to be honest everything about this battle was kind of boring. team flower isn't interesting. tamako's abilities are cringe. and pyron is feeling old. the part about the kids though was interesting. and also from the minute makihisa showing up. really wondering when we will see that golem again. what about this series pace? it's now feels so slow. why couldn't they rushed this entire "battle" previous episode, and ending in the same cliffhanger? |
