| Shin is so much like Levi (just exclude Levi's shitty side) Those lighthearted moments they had, it should be really hard to lose them one by one everyday but they still deal with it so toughly especially Shin, he has gone through a lot. Just what started this war? I hope they could talk it out and end this war. That ending tho, Lena is so crushing on Shin more like Shin's voice. I don't really care about that but I would prefer their relationship to stay professional. In these type of anime, I find it kinda annoying when the mc is crushing on the other mc too quickly without any emotional development. |
| Daiya's and Lecca's deaths hit pretty hard... I mean, we haven't even spent that much time with them, especially Lecca. But even so, it hit hard when it happened. Probably because of how hopeless their lives are, just mere drones for the Republic. When Daiya's last word was "Anju"... Ah, that really hurt. I can't imagine what Anju must be feeling right now, how haunted she must be. Lecca shooting herself in the head like that. Damn the Republic. The Alba supremacists can go to hell. |

| Great episode. A lot of anime original content, which I don't mind since it add to the story. They actually showed Daiya's final moment. RIP Daiya and Lecca :( Lena blushing at the end was cute. |

| Seeing them happy and dancing and right after that being killed was just so harsh, reality is cruel. Seems like Lena and Shin's relationship is evolving, that blush at the end was so cute xD |

| They did the young Shin part really well, with that was something that was very memorable in the LN, good to see it done rather well here. Anju really did felt that one huh? She probably had some feelings for him as well... Lena at the end was the perfect way to end it really soothing. |

| Ahhh Lena blushes, Major Waifu continues to show her feelings to Daddy Reaper. Oh that's weird coming from me but fuck it that's what I'm feeling rn! I still am not clear on what the fuck happened between Shin and Shou in their last meeting, but now I know why Shin is called the Reaper and damn that's a dark burden to curry. Also NOOO Daiya and Lecca are gone, oh no I'm sure Anju is gonna have SO MUCH REGRETS after this. And Lena really listened to that bullet firing on Daiya's head. That's the reality of the war, I despise it. We've only reached the halfway point, and so far this show has twisted and amazed me with so much. I can't even count how much times I dropped my jaw on the past 6 episodes, but that must mean something for a show like 86. |

| More flashbacks before we get into action on the battlefield they all seem so cheerful while they're all out eating hope they enjoyed that at least Damn two casualties today farewell to them they've completed their service sad to see them go especially Daiya, Anju's going to have a rough time with that Lena's blush face I can't she's too damn cute I wish we'll see more in the future with Lena doing cute things A-1 is keeping this up good for them. |

| That scenery from the flashback scene in the beginning was reminiscent of Stalingrad in ww2.Cold,desolate place with nothing but dead and snow on top of all the rubble.I wonder what happened in that place with burnt people,or was that even significant? The deaths are continuing to become more impactful as we immerse in character's regular desires,insecurities etc.Again sound direction was on point regarding Anju's paralyzing experience. |
| Ok I just can't take this anime seriously if the characters, especially Lena, keep acting like this. I don't care if it's not subtle or too on the nose or "uh not that deep", I just simply can't take any of this seriously. Idc what anyone says, someone should tell Lena that she wasn't cute in that ending scene, like not cute whatsoever. Squeaking and blushing and making some dumb anime noises, as she very consistently does throughout the show. Fucking waifu bait amidst the brutality of war, how moving. Fuck man, I should've just looked at this anime as 'another action show' instead of some political war drama with racism as a backdrop. I can't believe I'm saying this but people really have ruined my expectations, and hence this show for me. |

| Oh damn, Daiya and Rekka have fallen on the battlefield. Quite sad episode. That scene with everyone having fun and dencing felt depressing after noticing that most of people who had been there died after several months. |

| We got some short flashback of little Shin in the beginning. Another wholesome and chill flashback of the whole squad gathering below beautiful Sakura trees 4 months prior when the squad still complete and Lena hadn't join as the Handler. Back to battle, once again the squad lost their comrades. Now Daiya's and Lecca are gone RIP Black Dog and Burning Tail. As a handler, Lena brace herself to kept in communciation-line when Shin shot down finishing bullet to Daiya. Daiya's death was really impacting Anju, as both of them had affection toward each other, but no one confessed yet. Still she kept pretending to be okay in front of her comrades and friends. Scene continued to short Shin's backstory between him and his brother. His guilt notably his "brother", Shourei became his only sole purpose of living and goals as the grim reaper. Some friendly chit chat moment between Lena and Annette when actually it was Lena's birthday too as Annette giving her present. As usual the reports to his uncle/commander Jerome and Lena effort on bringing more support to help 86, presumably Republic's mortar didn't get any result. Even worse they gave the squad a suicidal mission into Legion's territory. After reporting the mission and finishing usual night talks with the whole squad, Shin kept the comm on-line as he worried that her voice sounded stiff and feeling that she's little bit under ( yeahhh ShinLena !!!). He told her to take some rest and eat sweet things. Hearing that She told Shin how he was similiar to his brother Shourei, as he gave her chocolate in the past with kind smile. Finally.... the adorable moment!!!... as she said time that she spent talking with Shin was really precious :DDD realizing what she said she embarassed and blushed really hard XD and finishing the call awkwardly.... |

cringe awkward moment when they want to carry a pot which is already empty. also cue the shittiest 'romantic' buildup all episode. Blatantly cueing it with the assistant's types of men and sakura and whatever. Honestly she reminds me of the pig in the episode beginning more than anything else.  so undertaker brother is a zombie ig. or he killed his own parents like a certain yaegar who will not be named. |
