----------------------------------------
Voting seems like serious business in this show considering there are contests of popularity.

On the other hand, I'm kinda surprised there's an sports event already for this anime. A lot of competition in that gym.

I'm confused what they meant at the episode preview by "Eripiyo changed her oshi"...I hope Eripiyo didn't fudge up somehow again and cause even MORE misunderstanding for next episode

This show continues to be heart warming and disturbing for the same reasons...
I’m glad I’m not a fan of anything to the self destructive extent of Eripiyo 😂

Well that sports festival was kinda awkaward. Lol at Aya though, stayed down the whole event after the race

The real question is, what did Yumeri make Maki do after the event?

Well maybe closet otakus are not that broke lol. The one's with a full time job but watching anime a lot after work..like me xD. Plus I am really only spending on light novels for the most part.

Well it's not like I am keeping it a secret, it just never really comes up in daily conversation.

Great episode.

Eripyo getting called out for posting on Maina's blog as multiple users was hilarious. xD

Loved the flashback at the start with Reo and Kumasa and I love how Reo later told Maina to believe in her fans. <3

Sports festival was fun to watch.
Birthday wishes with the fan greeting at the end was quite touching and I'm glad Maina finally managed to thank Eripyo.

Damn, Eripyo's hard work shot Maina all the way upto 3rd place, damn. That's some dedication.

Was nice to see more interaction between Reo and Kumasa, i really wanna where get their relationship...

In other hand, wow Eripiyo its doin everything for her best girl and makes me feel like a low level fan of my waifu in contrast because she seems always doing everthing she can even get Maina in 3rd place of the Popularity pool!

The relay scene tells us their personalities:
Yuka's image color is white (pure). Aya's image color is black green.

I'd have liked to hear their usual "Thank you for coming" from the managers who were thrown balls.

I still don't get what turning-bread-job is like. But a similar job was found on the Net.

---
ok. I found it. This would be Eripiyo's job. It's a visual check of products.

Maina's numbers are inflated lol.

Fun episode though.

I liked the past history between Reo and Kumasa though. He's clearly #1 Reo fan. She even used his words towards Maina which was sweet.

Need more Sorane though.

Expected a bit more from the whole sports event thing. It turned out to be a bit lackluster. Still, the Reo-Kumasa flashback more than made up for it.

Eripiyo's struggles were a bit too painful to watch this time. (which is exactly what makes this show work.)

Though I do oshi a certain idol, as I am now, I can never be as obsessed as the hardcore fans.

So, I am glad I can experience that passionate wota life through this anime without ever having to lose all that time and money

The life of an Otaku making their idol favourites be known through popularity contests that never end.

AND OBVIOUSLY Kumasa has hots for Reo, and on the other side for the ChamJam girls, it's a tough race to conquer endless events amidst personal conflicts that are unknown to fans.

The internal sports festival held that turned out to be somewhat of a success amidst a ceased-disaster, and the same can be said for the post events: for idols to trust in the fans that support them endlessly (case in point: Eripiyo's never-giving-up support for Maina).

I feel bad for Motoi, being with Eripiyo and Kumasa he strays furhter everyday from Kami-sama ChamJam.

That shit got me good, it's damn hilarious! Eripiyo's the fine example of a die-hard fan's relentless support, no matter the cost and work to death.

For Kumasa, organizing an idol's birthday requires immense effort, and as a fellow Otaku, it was an effort well done, even at close promixity. For Eripiyo, Maina's the ONLY idol on her mind.

Well, another great episode, and a hidden gem of a show.

Finally some more context on Kumasa-Reo. But now... how do they wanna take this?
I mean: the bait on Reo's feelings (if you want to call it that) towards Kumasa has been there since... well, first episode, actually. What I mean is: that Reo seems to see him more than just a mere fan. Maybe more of a "big brother" she respects, and possibly romantically, depending on the direction they wanna take this. (I mean: he ticks all her boxes. And they've spent a long time together...)
I love the touch that the Chamjam wotas give Kumasa front row spot. It gives the sense that not just Reo oshis, but Chamjam fanbase rn is the house he builds.

And oh yeah Eri Maina development this episode feels... episodic. Which is why I'm looking forward to the possible mishaps of next episode.

yay! i really enjoyed how this episode was more focused on cham rather than their fans :3

the only thing disappointing me right now was that i was hoping this anime would be a bit more realistic than other idol anime and with that i was expecting some friction within the group. maybe that'll come later? idk. i don't want this show to turn into melodrama city or anything like that, it'd just add to my personal sense of immersion if cham's group dynamic wasn't portrayed quite so sunshine-y and everything smelling of roses

ahhhh but maina in 3rd place TT3TT i hope she gains more fans from this!

Wow this anime keeps impressing me!
again the performance of ChamJam was not a fucking cgi, their songs are actually good af and the animation is good also compared to most animes this season

look how pretty animated Eripiyo

I'm glad i got to know this anime
really enjoying watching this

Also i laughed so hard when eripiyo did the flipping of bread in all of her jobs xD
So we got to know more from the other members of the group this ep which pretty nice. That sports fest was enjoyable though.

Happy Birthday to Reo!
Maina got 3rd!

This was a funny and heartwarming episode! I love this show, one of my favourites of the season.

That flashback between Reo and Kumasa was so heartwarming. Can't believe Kumasa's been supporting her all this time, and Reo was once in the same position as Maina is now with Kumasa being her Eripiyo. No wonder Reo is so grateful towards Kumasa and loves him so much as her OG fan.

Glad to see the gap between Maina and Eripiyo closing. Didn't see Motoi's sister at all this episode. Eripiyo's (hilarious) hard work really paid off. But really it was a funny montage with her working a bunch of jobs with those spinning hands of hers well-suited to flipping bread lol but her hard work ALONE made Maina 3rd place. Damn. Hope that gets Maina more attention from the higher-ups who obviously wouldn't know it was just one person.

I was wondering the whole episode what Kumasa said to Reo back then. Turns out it was believing in fans. So sweet!

Can't wait for the next episode.

Still quite divided about considering some scenes (the Reo/Kumasa flashback, for example) as something wholesome or just creepy as hell.

Quite entertaining episode overall. Aya was particularly hilarious this time.

Well Yes, But Actually No, this behavior could be considered as mental illness if there were not logic behind her actions, like people with OCD (in simplification) "If I don't switch the switch 5 times, something bad may happen".
You could consider her reaction as unhealthy way of showing affection (aka buying love) but still we should take into account that if Eripiyo wasn't buying so much of Maina merch then she could be kicked out of the band. Because this isn't popular idol group and most likely if not dedicated fanboys like Eripiyo and Kumasa this group would be disbanded long time ago.
Manga recommendation:
- Spy x Family (Ch.109/? - biweekly) | Sakamoto Days (Ch.198/? - weekly)
- MARRIAGETOXIN (Ch.115/? - weekly) | Machi and Oboro (Ch.20/? - biweekly)
- Make the Exorcist Fall in Love (Ch.82/? - biweekly)
- Monochrome Days (Ch.13/? - biweekly)
Anime recommendation:
- Deca-Dence (Finished) | Wave, Listen to Me! (Finished)
- If My Favorite Pop Idol Made It to the Budokan, I Would Die (Finished)
- Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater (Finished)

It's still bad behavior and japanee otaku community is full such morons. Also Eripiyo is cute enough to be part of Chamjam and she wastes her life working in shit part time jobs.

That sports festival was fun.

Eripiyo is using all of her money to buy Maina merch. Her obsession/dedication is sure strong. Well, at least she is making her more popular. Thanks to Eripiyo, Maina got 3rd place.

Really touching episode. I think Reo is in love with Kuma.
Maina is really grateful to Eri for her love. But Eri is such a simpette, i wish she talked to Maina like real person.
