| In slice of life anime, the "rainy episode" is always great! ^^ I think Minami is a little confused about her feelings. Looks like she is starting to like Tatsuya, but she also likes Kazuya, probaly. Great episode! |

| The cake thing just goes to show Tatsuya personality, he would even let his brother have his favorite cake for his happiness instead his own, this goes to show that he really need to fight back and fight for what he wants, or he won't be happy, probably. IMO Minami likes Tatsuya the anime have shown some hint here and there, at least she care for him. |
| Tacchan is the worst, he has no sense of responsibility, he can't even wake up early when he's on duty, and his personality isn't any better. He must really love his brother, and everyone else because he's always avoiding conflict, if he doesn't try he can't fail, right? Wrong, he's already failing everyone, and especially himself by not even trying at all anymore. I want to be understanding, but it's hard with him. He's also mean for no reason like when he said that the students making that survey didn't have "anything to do" just because he was jealous, when he is the one that doesn't do anything! Oh, wait, he's going to the boxing club to get punched in the face nowadays, so he does something, but I do hope he will change soon, but by the preview here comes another hard episode. |

| Nice rainy episode, by the looks of it its going to take a long time before Tatsuya follows Harada's advice. Bit painful to see Tatsuya putting himself down and being the fool so that Kazuya can shine. |

| I really like the flashback scenes to the past. Especially the ones from Kazuya's perspective. MAL lists Tatsuya, Minami, *and* Kazuya as "Main character" but it's pretty clear this applies only to the first two... at least for now. Next episode is looking spicy. |

| My first comment on this series and I have to say this: An indication of successful writing is not only what is seen, what is obvious and naked to the eye but also what is not seen. The more implicit characterization. And this series is doing a superb work of delivering this! There are multiple layers to all the basic characters and its a joy to watch them slowly unfold. We can feel Tatsuya's inner tendency to resign in favor of his brother... but we can also feel Kazuya having second thoughts about himself - despite everyone rooting for him. And how about that umbrella scene - it didn't need any dialogue, everything was implied through gestures. I'm really enjoying this and I know it can only get better! By the way, I loved the atmosphere in this particular episode - there's something about rain in anime series or films, that makes them truly memorable. |
