| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, there's definitely a rivalry between Ryou and Tamaru. Now it just became much more obvious and Ichika is in the middle of it. As usual, Rio is always being a good friend to Ichika regardless what position she is in. This episode seemed to have more awkward moments than usual. The graduation sign in class was a symbol of everyone growing up. |

| Bath young and old men replied, and Ichika has given her answer: the person she loves is Ryo, though Tamaru couldn't let his crush-filled fluttering feeling go away easily, and he faces it like a man in front of the immature adult. If given a choice, Ichika should've just settled for Tamaru, if not for this "sick/disgusting" love. More than trivial school issues of graduation, it definitely feels awkward between the trio of Ichika and Tamaru with the fore-sighted Rio, given the romance development between the two and the mediator. So, why not reset their friendship all over, and patch things up? That's for the best. Ryo still wants to be a fashionista joker of love towards Ichika, though her reciprocating is on an on-and-off basis. Just as is with Matsushima chasing after Ryo, even if she knows that there's no chance of the both of them getting together, she does the same approach that Tamaru did with Rio last episode, face-to-face with Ryo. At least now with the answers, there's still uncertainty to solve on Ryo's side. |

| The episode of confessions are upon us, and oh boy are they raining in. Ichika being unaware of her surroundings and nearly rejecting tamaru in a public train station sounds just like her, overthinking and not understanding what kind of situation she's placing herself in. Tamaru took that rejection like a champ, staying friends with her but understanding that he might never get what he wants out of their relationship. His call to the boys was heartwarming ngl, and them coming to support him is the true bro-code. Ryo finally notice more often that he can seem overbearing at times and is seemingly working on it as evident by him not being sarcastic when Ichika was clearly upset. That entire presentation charade was jokes, you gave me a hug so here's a presentation detailing what we're going to do for white day and is timestamped xD. You go girl! Arietty's confession was quite interesting, seeing as it was from a more mature stand point and she understood that ryo doesn't like her in that way quite fast, but her taking a stand and saying that the age difference might cause Ichika some problems was quite ballsy to say the least, coupled with her wanting to change to be basically Ichika makes her love seem kinda twisted but kinda sweet at the same time. If not her, why not me? One of the better actual character development episodes that have been released so far, can't wait to see how this plays out! |

| I'm glad that Ichika finally sorted her feelings out for Tamaru and yes, she likes someone else. Tamaru is a nice guy and as Ichika said she likes his company as well. But, for some reason, I can't ship them together. Idk why I feel that. Maybe I like Ryo more and want her to end up with him. Ryo is a little immature and can be a little too selfish when it comes to different situations. Basically, he is naive at reading situations. Rio is still a great friend to Ichika as ever. Rio and Tamaru keep fighting with each other. LOL Arie finally confessed her feelings as well to Ryo. And Ryo told him that it's a high school girl and this is the first time that Ryo thought about it, the age gap between them. It's gonna make someone sad. Ryo's confused now. Will it hurt? We'll have to see about that. |

| Tamaru is a great guy, he handled the rejection so well. Big props to him. Arietty confessed even though she knew she was gonna be rejected. Though it sounds like she questioned the age gap between Ryo and Ichika which may cause Ryo to have some doubts. Curious to see which side it'll go but given the nature of this show, I'm guessing it will be towards Ichika. Don't think I've mentioned this before but the ED is so good. |

Now it just became much more obvious and Ichika is in . even if theres a rivalry, its clear from the get go what the author intent is. its a waste to make tamaru a "potential partner" this late in the game. he's pretty much playing a losing game and he didn't even know it but we the readers knew it from the get go. i would love to ship tamaru with ichika but its was already clear like by ep2 she already in love with Ryou, this episode solidifies it as it you clearly see she burns w.e "potential" there was of tamaru x ichika in his face. They remain friends? which is just hurting the poor boi |

And compared to Ryou, he is so mature. Seems like Ryou is finally putting things into perspective. | I deeply hate it, the confessions were upsetting and didnt make any sense I wish I was in jail so I couldnt watch this anymore, what a piece of garbage. I definitely hate mondays, shit animes everywhere. I swear I'd throw Ichika off a bridge if I could. |

| Predicted af and, well, Tamaru, you should've forget that chick for good already, and change the direction to Rio completely. Because i think you both can be a great couple, considering your interaction. Instead, the script told him to always stay with that chick, supporting her, and such, which is a shame and lame way to finish the story between them, ngl. Too plain, simple, and i don't like its end with such a generic conclusion, in my humble opinion. Well, his words to Ryo, even though its the repeated one. At least its good enough to manly-up the situation, rather just chickened out. The same situations goes to Arietty, unbeliavably, which also done the same bravery like Tamaru. That woman also mentioned about the age gap, which is kinda fuckin late when the show already near the end. But, whatever. Its affected Ryo way of thinking, supposedly. Maybe he will stop act like a creep and be more mature around Ichika from the next on, which kinda creating more drama with her. Well, i dunno about that, so, yeah, lets see next.... |

| I feel bad for Tamaru, but at least he didn't give up completely! Ryou was like 'why only pick a meaningful gift for Ichika on White Day, when I can make a presentation first and then get her to pick the best gift'. This man cracks me up xD |
| AMAZING EP. The last two koikimo eps have definitely been the best so far. The tension has reached a climax with everyone confessing their feelings. We knew Tamaru and Arrie had no chance, but damn it still hurts seeing it play out. Arrie in particular because she’s so damn adorable. I hope there’s a way where everyone gets a happy ending. On the bright side, seeing Ichika slowly but surely recognise she’s in love with Ryou is nice and it looks like we’re leading to a climax with that soon as well. Idc what anyone says, I love this show. |

| We all knew that Tamaru was going to get rejected, but at least he has a chance with Rio considering the fact that the two of them argue like a married couple. Arietty has gone all in with her confession with Ryo when she finds out that he is in love with a high school girl and mentions the age gap between them. I doubt she will be able to change his mind since Ryo was never attracted to Arietty in the first place. |

| That was a really great episode and probably my favorite one so far. Character development is great and now they're gonna tackle the issues of having an age gap relationship and probably how they can make it work as well. That was a long intro scene before the OP. Definitely like Tamaru a whole lot more, now that he's out of the race lmao. He took that rejection like a champ, respect. Any other people would be wanting to avoid the one that rejected them. Tamaru is definitely mature, much more than Ryo, but where's the fun in that, I am here to see how Ryo will develop. Damn, Arie just launching nukes left and right, but yeah even if you know you don't have the chance, it's still better to let your feelings out to get proper closure like what Tamaru an Arie did. Really looking forward to the next episode! That cafe shop scene though while Ryo was presenting his white day powerpoint was hilarious, especially that dude eavesdropping lmao. |
