| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh well, that got a bit strange with the Akiba situation. Definitely an odd episode at first when you think about how much has changed including the maze. Luckily, there was still hope among everyone especially with Shiroe. Tbh, I find the idea of this episode to be pretty interesting. |

| Most of them are back to lvl 35 but at least it doesn't affect everyone, with Akatsuki, Minori etc they'll maybe be able to beat the monsters and clear the raid, also it's interesting to know that Leria and Ritoka remember the quest from Tetra and that story with the scales, so they were already "sentient" when everyone was playing normally |

| From goblin to titan to alien. A change w. space and sound. Enemy can control space? Or rather, level downgrade? The girl use one of the over bought items from last ep. to look through the situation. Damage not affected? Easter? Interesting team work when two groups working together to fight. The sisters remember about what they did to idol girl and felt guilty. He gave the information to them to deliver to kouhai girl. Kouhai team's turn to fight back next time. |

| Kinda different how the monsters can change your level rather than apply a debuff, well guess it is kind of a debuff if you think about it but it's a fairly original concept! |

| So the Genius debuff'd all the adventurers using a system exploit... damn. Shiroe is starting to realize these attacks from the Genius party are far from random. It is unclear if they are organized among themselves to do these attacks, but for sure they have a same goal in mind. I'd say the Genius party want the natural/economic resources that the Adventurers handle because of how they've been developing in Elder Tale's. If they let Adventurers to continue with their growth they might lose their chance to do their evil stuff. Aaaanyway. Based on what we have seen in previous episodes and the preview for the next one, it looks like Minori and the rest will be forming a party to defeat Eirenus. |

| It's time for team Minori and the lower-level adventurers to shine and clear the raid battle. The moments when the Useless Sisters remember Tetora's quest and feel guilty about it are very impressive. Goblin!? who talks about a goblin? Maybe they need someone in metal plate armor to help to kill those goblins. 😏 |

| I love Akatsuki’s new outfit! I also like how Minori is getting an opportunity to shine and put what Shiroe’s taught her to the test. Shiroe has a lot of trust in her and it shows with the decision to get her that information. It’s wild how monsters can debuff your level though! |

| Easily the best episode of the season. Also the young padawans will finally get a chance to shine. Can't wait for the next episode. |

| Despair Genius attacked Akiba by using teaching system through the entire city and created a separate raid space areas to finished all of the adventurers hope in those city. Even after they died, the normal levels of them always reduced in the normal place, and the effect of the raid battle event still occured until the Despair Genius defeated under that raid loop circumstances. Interesting system, and surely the Genius looked more 'genius' this time with its skill. However, since Akatsuki coincidentally under her own teaching system at Minori group, the chance of the younger one to get more shines sound very convincing to happen. How well Minori led the team, once again, under that new level of experience called a raid party event? Both Akatsuki and Minori maybe new to those challenge. However, since they both already got such a huge experience through the previous battle. No way they can't lose against that boss monster. It may also conclude the real destruction of the Round Table center of place like in the opening sequence. So, well, lets see... |

| The the raid be instanced was expected. As I said last episode discussion. But i'm curious why exactly lv. 35? If the lowest raid lv.50. I hope next episode Akatsuki will get a heroic role, and not just getting killed for realization plot. Because we know that Minori is the favorite kid in most situations. After the fight is won Akatsuki will get just a "GG", and Minori be praised to heavens. I forgot about Roe2 and how she is beautiful. |

| Ehh, as much as I appreciate Akatsuki having bigger role here, I'm not a fan of kids being the focus. They are by far the weakest part of Log Horizon for me and drag it down considerably. Tho the part about scales was kinda moving. |

| For raid class enemies to appear within the town itself huh thats quite the challenge. The strength reducing ability that the enemy had sure played havoc with their defensive efforts. In a way its a good thing that this realm is a separate instance from the real Akiba otherwise the damage to it will be massive. Being reduced down to lv35 from 50 sure was a major blow to their combat ability. The hand off between Rieze and Shiroe's party though sure was well executed with the exposition on the terms being seamless as well. Looks like Minori and her team will be the key to end this crisis while Shiroe and the vets hold the line. Overall a solid ep that combined excellent tension with combat. If anything Rieze's pretty comparable with Shiroe. |

| Akatsuki's new outfit is fire!!! So every high level adventurer has been reduced to Lvl 35 and having a hard time dealing with the raid that has attacked them, only Akatsuki and the kids have not been reduced. Honestly, been a while since I saw Akatsuki shine again, so this is more than welcome. Looking forward to the final two episodes. |

| Can we talked about Akatsuki outfit? That was cute... Debuff Lv must be so annoying especially for a Raid... Gathering Information is important in this kind of situation... Shiroe with his Big Brain, he knows the best chance are on Akatsuki Party... This is why last week episode is important for Minori Character Development... I think she will be the key for their success.. I like how Log Horizon give the kids spotlight to shine and not just being the side characters that always be protected by the main characters... |

| Oh gods, the NPCs have memories too! I feel bad for Tetora's bitter scale quest memories but I cannot help but forgive the useless sisters when they were bawling their eyes out. LOL Information is power indeed! |

| So I was partially right, players above lvl 65 didn't dissapear but their level got reduced. Shiroe passed the batton to Minori, looks like it's time for the young ones and Akatsuki to beat this Genius. Minori's pretty good strategist herself so I'm sure she'll be fine with a top dps like Akatsuki by her side and Lelia and Litka's also there too. Next episode will be hype. Also so Lelia and Litka remembers everything that happened in the past, that was a touching moment. |

| What a situation in Akiba city. Looks like the whole town was made for a raid since their levels were reduced. With the help of the kids they are gonna challenge the Genius who is causing all of this. |

| The sudden Eirenus raid so far seems though with all the higher player levels having dropped drastically but I personally believe the Kunie's gold raid was a lot more difficult. |

| Of course it's when the show is near its end when things start picking up. But whatever. Those two sisters are people of the land right? And they're also ancients. Is it what makes them able to participate in a raid like this? |

| So the enemy used the game's system against them. Smart. Its good that the sisters weren't debuff and able to mmet the others. Its up to the young ones to win the raid. |
