That elevator seems more or less like a pathway portal between worlds. I had an eerie feeling about this episode tbh.

Still, I think this episode is kinda interesting with the supernatural elements that connects the worlds together. Toriko, Sorao, Kozakura, and Akari's adventure takes them far into the unknown yet again.

Okay, not gonna lie, this was the creepiest episode from this show so far. This episode particularly had all the elements that are needed for it to be creepy. The visuals were creepy and the soundtrack was doing a perfect job of portraying the situation. A really good episode in terms of how scary it got later on.
Akari seems to have gone to the Otherside through the elevator. So, Toriko and Sorawo went to save her. This time Kozakura is also with them. Things got really interested and frightening by the end of the episode when they had to rescue Akari and get back to the normal world. Good thing is that everyone is safe.

Man I’m finally they finally talking about the American soldiers again. I thought I was going crazy with how they just left them behind and didn’t ever bring them up again the past few eps. I’m guessing that’ll be the main focus of the final two episodes.

Akari getting lost, mind controlled or finding herself in danger seems to be a recurring meme at this point lol. Luckily she’s got a great senpai/friend to save her.

Fun ep.

Another anime-original episode written by the original novelist Iori Miyazawa, though this is somewhat creepier than Episode 3's Giant Village.

A Yakiniku celebration turned horrific not just for Toriko, Sorawo and Kozakura, plus the final girl Akari herself...but an elevator that sends Kozakura to a frenzy and Akari losing her way, it's most definitely the Otherside elevator, connected to more places than just the one that Toriko and Sorawo are familiar with.

The world of mirrors for the supernatural feel, and the inkling that a dangerous entity comes haunting after all 4 girls, it wouldn't be a surprise that Uruma Satsuki would come striking again.

For now, what a wild ride for all of them to get out alive and in one piece to eat some Yakiniku.

The look of Kisaragi Station / Station February within that one second ending peep, definitely have an idea of which arc this show is gonna tackle for the final 2 episodes.

Was there a logical error? Sorawo asked Toriko if she still has the hat from the beginning, but didn't it disappear when they went back from the beach?

Yeah thought that too ngl, might be an error, or she might just be referencing how they could use something similar to that?

Reference to the hat is be because the beach episode was shown out of sequence as that's from volume 6 - this story is from an earlier volume.

Which also explains the continuity error on the beach episode - they had guns, when they left on the meat-train they didn't.

Its nice that they haven't forgotten about the yanks. So the gates that lead to the OtherSide can move to other buildings that have the same number of floors then huh. The world in which they ended up in sure was a unnerving one that resonated well with the OST. That encounter with the blue smoke sure was fuelled with tension. Its nice that after such a tough encounter that they managed to find their way to the restaurant and enjoy a well deserved meal. Looks like the next ep will be the rescue of the yanks though im not sure whether it will worth the risk as they're bound to see the pair as potential hostiles.

Another creepy episode. It actually made me move away further from my screen, just to be safe... I am a scaredy cat XD

I wonder why Sorawo was the only one that was able to see that sequence with Satsuki standing in an inferno..

So the American soldiers might make a return, as we got a glimpse of that station again.

I kind of agree, I'm finding it really interesting. The plot and world building doesn't make much sense, but it's fun that way. It's bizarre, not in the same way as JoJo's, but in a way that's relaxing and complicated. I don't know what I'm saying, but I know that I'm enjoying the show.

really enjoyed this episode. Another monster that cannot be killed by bullets. That chase with Kozakura falling behind made me nervous. Thankfully, they all made it out alive.

well, and Kozakura looks like she cares about them after all, seems to be willing to be left behind if she does not make it to the elevator.

enjoy the barbecue after surviving another near-death experience. lol

Interesting that there’s another world between the Otherside and the real world, maybe we should call it the Other Otherside lol, and I’m with some others here on that this was one of the more scary episodes of the show so far, there were a few parts that gave me chills, the Kisaragi Station at the end did for me. Glad to know they didn’t forget about the American soldiers, I was wondering if they just moved on from that since it may have been a covert operation. Always love Kozakura tagging along, her reactions are the best lol.

Kozakura was adorable and sweet too.

Lol they just wanted to get some barbeque but it turned into the usual thing fast. We got a glimpse of Satsuki again. I wonder if it really was her. Anyway I'm glad the girls safely came back and now they can enjoy their barbeque.

Pretty good episode and I think that was the best one so far for me. I am glad they talked about the Kisaragi station again, it'll probably be the focus of the next episode or maybe even a 2 part arc, so last 2 episodes. I really hope there's a second season, I think this is one of those shows that really needs a second season to flesh it out even more.

Poor Kozakura got dragged into this mess again, but hey it's a win for me cause I'll gladly accept Kozakura screentime any day. And Akari really likes to get controlled doesn't she lmao. Hmm, I wonder what was up with that in between place, why was there like a barber shop there and all those creepy stuff. Looking forward to the next episode.

Ah the fuckin creepy elevator shit scene again. I honestly didn't like this part cause too many jumpscare they made through that part, i can't handle it much. Then yep, the surrounding looked pretty horrific. I can't help but smile with they effort they did to created such a nuance. However, that fog, unfortunately was not like i expect before. Not much suspense against that made me quite sighing in the end of the episode. Well, nothing last forever!

Satsuki Uruma came back, showing herself to Sorawo. It was like that part was meant to be the symbol of their closed relations through the otherside world. Whats exactly up with that? Representatives? Not sure. But, the next episode with Kisaragi station again might be answered the uncertainty. Also one more thing, its not that hard to be tough, right, Kozakura? Then, come on, Akira, stop causing trouble, ffs xd.

I don't understand Sorawo's thought process. It isn't explained well enough for me not to get mad over it. WHY THE FUCK IS SHE AVOIDING URUMA. It's clear she doesn't really like her vibe, but its no reason to run. I haven't gotten to this part of the novels, and the manga hasn't covered it, so I'm here confused. There were no signs of hostility, and yet, they decide to run. I can see its really digging into her though. I bet she's thinking Toriko and Kozakura are underappreciating her effort, or they're taking her as an Uruma look-alike. Its judging by Akari's sudden involvement and Toriko refusing to praise her. I think she's beginning to want out.

Same disappointment here man. Everything basically leads to either nothing or shit in this anime. If you like it, the manga and novel are a better option, at least it isn't packed with Naruto levels of filler.

Ah yes, another inconsistency, a regular for this adaptation. I would just tell you to ignore it. It can only get worse. I've already told waaaaaaaaaaaay too many people but the novel and manga are better

They finally addressed it and I'm so happy about it. Kozakura is right on the money when it comes to Sorao ACTUALLY caring, and WANTING to help someone. As when it came to the American soldiers, she and Toriko were really bad when it comes to them. Yet alone afterwards just going on about as if nothing had happened. Without a care in the world. Glad they finally addressed it all, and showed some care towards it too.

This was the creepiest episode by far, literally had goosebumps while watching this ep , but it was pretty good. Looks like that elevator was a portal in-between worlds.

Damn when Satsuki was gonna turn around and look at them was the creepiest thing ever.

Was Kisaragi station based off of the 4chan forum post on how a girl got lost on Kisaragi station?

Dude not gonna lie if they shown Akari's face in a grotesque, jumpscare way, then this will be one of the most creepiest episodes I've seen in a while. But sadly that will be a NOPE, but still the way they set up a conflict and how we are treated to an episode's climax is just really amazing. And ONCE FUCKING AGAIN, the OST/music is great here, they somehow used a bit different piece here to compliment the unsettling vibes that the scenes emit. It really is one of the selling points of the show.

Thankfully the enemy is not that strong in this episode, they only need to run hard. But for the reward, they have their barbeque on the same building that Akari wandered off to. Also the most creepiest thing about this episode are those train sounds at the end, they're really setting up the rescue of those American soldiers back in Urasekai. Let's see how they end this at Kisaragi Station Part II. Also I like to know what Sorao and Toriko saw back in that train, I'm really curious damn it.

Good to know Toriko at least has a heart. She has been thinking about the poor American soldiers for quite a while, it seems.

Overall, probably the episode which handled the creepy vibe the best. The entire sequence with the girls wandering around that "in-between" world before finding Akari felt quite eerie.

Satsukai is messing around with Sorawo and that is not a good thing. Akari got lured in by something into the in between world… The in between world looks so cool to be honest. Something from a sci fi movie. In the end we got a glimpse of that station where the soldiers had placed camp.

The whole thing with the Satsuki-Sorawo parallels is either original to the show or something I haven't reached in the books and it's CHILLING me either way! Genuinely terrifying! The scooby doo chase at the end not so much but this episode really poked into the background psychological horror of being a person who looks similar to a terrible human being that your friends all still look up to. Not something I've ever experienced but I imagine it'd be horrific.
Everyone needs to watch t least three good and three bad things in each genre or they will explode forever.
