| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- wow the start of this episode really surprised me, that new opening was super nice and damn those visuals were amazing. the new artsyle in it was really great, its was beautiful, the colors were absolutely stunning and the animation was very smooth too. this episode was pretty funny as usual, it was pretty strange how they had that one scene with the random plane flying and all that text and stuff scrolling by lol. new cinema-club girl is quite interesting, mai was so funny in that restaurant lmao. also, interesting how this anime uses those live-action panning shots of the city from above. and damn mai looks so cute in cosplays. |

| I constantly think I hear references to other older shows (besides the obvious quotes). Was that Puru Puru Pururin OP for Welcome to the NHK playing in the background of the cosplay party? Or am I just hearing things? XD I have never watched Welcome to the NHK, but heard the songs in other places many times (plus I believe Lucky Star did some reference to it too, iirc) |

WHAT...classifying Bamba into a water flea and mimicking an ACTUAL water flea, it's hilarious as hell! When you give an exposition, you HAVE to give an exposition. And of course, when it comes to vampires, resistance to garlic is the first thing that comes to minds of humans...THAT'S TOTALLY NONSENSE for myths. The scene of Mai destroying the restaurant and flying off in air...totally an UFO thing. Time to investigate Mai's erratic habits, or otherwise things could get a lot more worse. The general thought of vampires from Bamba's perspective is quite commonplace and cliche, like Bram Stoker's vampire works: FICTIONAL. Mai though, is an entirely different case altogether. Another girl (Cosplay Club captain Kaoru) shows up as cosplay, and what a fun time of cosplay, plus a Halloween party to which Mai gets A LOT of attention. Not sure how Bamba will ride this out with keeping Mai's true identity a secret more than anything. I love this show even more now: it's aware of the 4th wall break, yet doesn't hold back its roasting and story development integration (much like Gintama), plus those references that never get old. |

| Already a different OP? 14:39 Based Kaoru is cosplaying Tetsujin 28-go. 16:03 Tokusatsu Banba looks hot ngl. There's the obvious Mario reference and I think Kaoru is cosplaying Katyusha from Girls und Panzer mixed with Red Guardian from Marvel comics. |

| I genuine genuinely laughed out loud a couple of times. It breaks the 4th wall, but always remember to pack it in and move on. The number of references in this show is crazy, I'm sure even I am missing some. |

| I appreciated the little bit on the history of vampires but I really don't care for any of the characters yet. Mai is just annoying. Chihiro-sensei's the only interesting character in this right now. |
| The OP is not new as some people say, it's the same as the one from ep 1. It's just the the 2nd ep had a unique OP. |
