| I watched this first episode expecting to laugh my ass off at the ridiculousness of a cyborg grandpa flying in the air lol But instead I was almost driven to tears by the end of it. Everything about this episode is perfect except the grandpa's voice. It sounds too young. But it didn't hinder my enjoyment of this episode. I... I don't even know what to say. I'm out of words. Brilliant first episode. Totally blew my mind away. |

He's 58. He looks 70. WTF! He has stomach cancer. 3 months to live? No one answering their phone. Oh shit! She said yes to him being her ojiichan. He crying on the dog. That man. Where'd he come from? WTF! LMAO at one of them saying not our problem. We can rebuild him. We have the technology. Steam? His arm turned into a gun? WTF is that on the wall? Of course the dog would lick it. Holy shit! His head! Great first episode. As expected of Oku. MWAM with another great song. |

| I only started this because of the very bizarre premise but this first episode was amazing! Inuyashiki going from the oldest-looking middle-aged man with the youngest-sounding voice ever who was a complete pushover surrounded by dickheads before finding out he had cancer to a noble old man robot was great. The guy completely owned those damn punks who didn't hesitate in terrorizing others even if it would killing those they harm. I'm glad that the homeless guy can finally turn his life around and Ichiro finally feeling happy that other people see him as someone useful for once nearly made me tear up myself. Those aliens doing the most random oopsie ever was definitely the best thing that has happened to him. |

| Ungrateful kids!!! Their house is nice!! His family don't care about him π I feel sad. Good thing there's Hanako. Inuyashiki's voice is not fit for him though. It's an alien right?! Alien restore his body! Annoying brat kids!!!!! Serve them right, and they even got worried that they have video of what they did, thinking about their reputation lol good thing Inuyashiki help the guy, I got disappointed when I thought he won't help him. I love the CGI in this anime! The story seems interesting! |

| gosh at the start of the episode, I felt super emotional and sad for inuyashiki because his family literally doesn't care and show affection for him. Unappreciative daughter and son tch. But DAMN he turns into a fucking mechanical weapon and I felt so happy for him, especially when he saved a life. The music in this anime is just fantastic because it really enhances the situation's seriousness. Also the japanese students in this episode really got on my nerves. Go do your homework instead smh. DAMN the CGI is just so good..so fucking gOLD  AND THE OP...GOD, THIS IS SUCH A GOOD FIRST EPISODE. |

| Cool premise. I feel so bad for the poor man, his family (mostly his kids) are fucking awful. heartwarming scene between him and the homeless man Wonder how this will go lol the scene w him staring at himself in the mirror was hilariously weird xD it was weird in general but not in a bad way |

| That was a hell of a start. Typical Oku story, where the main character faces an unfortunate fate right in the beginning. It's impossible to not feel sympathy for dad Inuyashiki. |

| I knew what I was getting into, but god.. kids in this series can all go and die for all I care. Really glad to see that gang wannabe group of boys got what they fucking deserved. Inuyashiki is the name of that man, who, as they already quoted, doesn't look like a 58 year old, but guess his family is to blame for that. When you've such ungrateful kids and a wife who can't even pretend to care, it's kind of understandable to look older than your age. Anyways, that alien thing was fucking weird lol. But yeah such insanity is to be expected when it is something from the author of Gantz. Liked the first episode tbh. But knowing they adapted the complete manga within these 11 episodes kind of bothers me. |

| The OP is straight GAS, both the interesting visuals with a mix of CGI and 2D were awesome, but especially so for the music by MAN WITH A MISSION. I knew of the song before I knew it was used for Inuyashiki's OP, phenomenal. The ED was a contrast to the OP with more subtlety and vague imagery. Damn, the old guy main character got some really ungrateful family, but holy crap, he's already in his late 50s, diagnosed with stomach cancer and has the appearance of an 80-year-old. What a shitshow, he must've been working his old ass out for many years just to afford a proper house for his wife and 2 young children but all they do is complain and the guy is not man enough to uphold his standing as the head of the household. Had he not gotten absolutely obliterated by a UFO coming out of nowhere, and been rebuilt with an extraterrestrial weapons platform, he would have died a miserable death, unloved and by his lonesome, save for the dog Hanako. But here he is with a brand new body, a new chance at life and a newfound spirit and goals to save people, basically a superhuman vigilante. Old, cancer-ridden salaryman turned into an alien robocop superhero. The aliens did him a good hand but not the planet. |
