| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Starting out with a fanservice onsen scene, how the ideas roll to get some attention. Riko is still in her newbie character act, so at least getting this part out is decent. Girls from different parts of Japan, but in an alternate world, huh (except for Riko). Riko asking the all-important question: "Are there Armor Boys?" Original LBX, yes, but only Armor Girls exist here. A base that has always been protected by Armor Girls, but then again, without them around, they would already be wiped out. Soon enough, Mimesis, their cores and enemies will start coming to thwart the LBX girls, given any "history" of hatred. NGL, Studio A-CAT is not a good studio to do 3DCG (if you remember Tamayomi), but so far, everything is just fine for now. |

| So it's pretty much confirmed that the girls all come from different versions of Japan. Seems the currency used in this world is cores of mimesis' This was apretty calm episode with almost nothing happening. Still love the ED, really calming. |

| Well it looks like the main is starting to realize things aren't easy here, but she will have to get used to it. And the unit seems to have some interesting ways of doing things. The naming part was funny tho. |

| I think I'll like this. Pretty solid second episode, sheds some light on their world and introduces (probably) human conflict. |
| End credits scene, it seems like the eyeglasses mechanic guy has just finished something...he's gone nuts since he lost that girl apparently. |

| better than the first episode, though the exposition scenes felt confusing and a bit too fast for my liking. the show is still acting as if everyone understands the techno-jargon, or what LBXs even are. i guess this makes sense for japanese fans, as well as hardcore LBX fans, but the general audience (especially overseas) is likely confused by this point. i hope that they'll expand on that later. "armored boys" was a cute gag. i'm disappointed they didn't sneak in ban, jin, and hiro from the original for that scene though. perfect chance to show some more fanservice for the original property. all in all, it was an improvement. i like how the character interactions felt natural - though i really dislike the moe style, the characters aren't COMPLETELY flat, which is good. miharu is definitely my favorite so far. hopefully this'll continue to improve, though my expectations are low regardless. |
| ok, so the people of that town / base used to have some armored girls.. then those girls fought for the base until they all died. And those men gathered up the mimesis cores, that are now being used to keep away the Mimesis. Feels like they were just using those girls.. better leave, and find another place to stay. |

| Onsen part was nice fanservice. We learnt a bit more about how this world works and looks like all the girls are from alternate worlds and not from same world as Riko, interesting. |

The only thing I like in this episode was when the lesbians was bathing naked together hehehehehehe . But IMO the rest was trash and therefore extremely stupid ass anime now have 1/10 |

| Was ok, I'm curious what the glasses kid was creating after the ending credits though. I think that statue girl was his sister, and he used parts from her suit to either try and become one himself or bring it to life similar to the mimesis maybe. Clearly they're not finished at this base just yet though. That onsen scene too, lol. There were deer and bears and stuff in there with them for some reason. |
