What character is it?
I wish I could write you more, but nothing interesting happened in my life during past moths, well the child is growing yes, but that´s normal. We had one lockdown in autumn and second one now during Christmas, so there really is not much to do besides sitting at home looking at the rain :D Do you have snow already? Nothing here. From the anime I only watched Black Rock shooter since it´s just 8 episodes, it wasn´t bad, but also not masterpiece. And I am watching His Dark Material series, maybe you heard about those - there was a movie called The Golden Compass a few years ago, so this is like remake of the movie (the story was originally written as a book). And I must say, TV series suits better to this format than the movie.

Hi, so you are an artist? Do you paint, or something like that? I love art, but sadly can´t paint or play an instrument or nothing like that. But I like going to galleries, concerts of Bach, Beethoven, Mozart (my favourite), museums and such. I grew up in an academic family, so despite barely 30y old, I sometimes feel like an old man :D
Same here with covid, too, we have now many new cases and schools are mainly closed, universities also. But by talking to people I realized that many of them trust some conspiration theories, like covid is all made up, or that masks are not important and such. So by this mentality, I am not surprised at sll by the current situation..
Historical anime is not quite my thing, although I watch them from time to time. Mainly samurai era - I recall Dororo and Blade of the Immortal. I really want to watch Samurai Champloo and Ruroni Kenshi some day, but.. maybe when my daughter will get older :D (I hope..)
We go daily on fresh air together with my husband, she needs movement and other children, she is just learning how to walk so I can´t shut her inside. I just hope that we won´t catch anything, but who knows.. :/
Finding a good shounen is not really that easy, I mean everybody loves FMA, but I found it mediocre, didn´t really like the characters or the story in general. And nowadays I mostly prefer seinen, maybe will try also josei. I see you are also Jojo fan, that anime belong to my favourites, too.
As for dark stuff, Made in Abyss manga is very dark and unsettling, too, but it has like 4 chapters per year and the story is moving veery slowly what is starting to piss me off a bit. But on the other hand, each new chapter is so breathtaking that I keep sticking to it for several years now.

Hi, how are you? Sadly corona is again here so we are all locked down again. It´s so annoying!:( How is it in your country? The worst is that my daughter is now learning how to walk and due to the weather and corona we are able to go on the fresh air only for a while, I don´t think it´s very healthy for her :(
From other news, I started some pretty good manga recently, I reread Aku no Hana and started Homunculus and Drifting Classroom. The first one is seriously one of the best manga I have ever read. The art is incredibly realistic, the characters are very well developed. Is´s longer (14 volumes) but worth every single page. Now I´m more than ever into dark seinen stuff. I checked out also other stories from this author but sadly, they don´t interest me as much as Homunculus did. The second one is older (around WWII I think) and the art is not so great, but the story is quite good and I´m curius how it will develop. I started Dorohedoro as well, it should be also dark and psychological. And then I still continue Demon Slayer. Although it seemed like Naruto rip-off at forst to me, now I became strangely fond of characters. I hope I manage to also check out the anime :)

I recently watched Aku no Hana. It was very good so if you like psychological stuff (and I guess you do since you watch Monster) I can recommend it to you. The animation is a bit weird, bit I liked it, even though manga characters look really different.
The trope weather is finally over and now the feelling of fall is in the air. Yeah SoL is not my favourite stuff, either. As I get older, I prefer seinen genre. Don´t like highschool much, but as my friend said once: "Which anime is NOT happening in highschool?" :D I guess he was right, haha!

Some people recommended me Monster before, I have it in my PTW list so it´s good to know that it is good anime! As for the EVA movie, they are great, but I still prefer the anime I think. Ometedou ending was the best in my opinion. When I saw the Kimochi warui end (you know which I mean?) I was so disappointed. And the EoE was a pure mess. Visually great but I got so lost in the story.. Ugh! Must rewatch someday, too. The Hollywood Pacific Ring is a total rip-off of EVA btw.
Hmm I get it. But if you have time, why not rewatch it? But again - I am a big BL fan, so maybe I got somehow blinded by Victor/Yuuri relationship and didn´t focus that much at the story :) but the OST and animation were really great, and they really try to show the jumps as they should be. I like watching figure skating championship in RL so I know a bit about it. Another sport anime I like is Free! - about swimming.
How are you dealing with summer temperatures? It´s over 30°C everyday in Slovakia :/ (my country)

Hi! First of all I am terribly sorry for my superlate reply.. part of it is that I absolutely don´t have time for anything, and second part is that I really thought I had already replied to you. But then I looked up our messages and realized that I haven´t.. oops! How are you? Any anime/manga news? I somehow didn´t have a chance to watch anything since summer started, but I am reading a lot of books and keep up with my favourite manga. BTW I read somewhere that Evangelion 4th movie is supposed to be released this summer, but it was postponed many many times, so - we´ll see... I also saw in your profile that you gave Yuri on Ice only 6/10, may I ask why? Did you not like the story in general, or BL, or..?

Well thank you, that pleases me :) don't have much time for MAL in these days (I have a kid), but she is one of the best mangaka I know. I just finished Eve no nemuri the other day, it was quite sad to see Sei go, but let´s be honest - in a state he was in, he probably won´t have much time left. BUt it was great to see all characters grown in their own way and even Sing from BF - he was still kid there! I wish other mangaka would also write their works in this sequel style way. How did you like Eve?
You should def give Darren a chance, his works are too good to be omitted. If you have an opportunity and like Larten, he wrote a prequel solely about him, and it is interesting too. My sis and I have all Darren´s books proudly on the shelf :)
