Injury tends to happen during training but I'm sure Jotaro will bounce back as he promised. Jotaro's situation highlights the reality of competitive sports, where it has its risks.

What's also concerning is Leonardo's position in this tournament but he managed to show of his impressive skills to the world.

Very good development for Jotaro and Leo , being a genius doesnt make you strong... just like me!
I suck at fitness, I was among the last during the fitness weekend we made at our office, too bad... I remember that I still managed to do a few drawings there before heading into the shower after the race

Fellow gymnast inviting gyaru part-timer of grandmother's work place to the competition.

KajiKaji's character is popular because potential (silver last time) which got fans.

Ninja actor / ballerina w. the three mib.

KajiKaji's character not doing well while main character is doing well. KajiKaji's character is too conscious of his mistake and main character.

Fellow gymnast confessing by doing well, and gyaru doesn't understand it.

KajiKaji's character's coach is spot on.

One of mib found daughter. She lets her visit Ninja actor. He (not w. the way he spoke throughout the series, and calling her name not nickname) told her he will be returning to being ballerina in the UK (doesn't sound fully his decision, though).

Finale next.

Very good episode, movements of these athletes are so flexibly sexy, imagine the possibility! Though I'm not sure if it's necessary for Tetsuo to has a bad day, they could let him perform his usual standard and let Joe outperform him. But good thing that Tetsuo is 18 years old now, if you know what I mean ;)

But how old is Tomoki again? He's training for 13 years old! If he begin at 7 he'd be 20 right now? Older than I thought, he gives a highschool impression.

The next episode is the last one already? I demand a second season!!!! I'm addicted to DILF sports anime now.

The 2nd last episode, and it's the Gymnastic Samurai Jotaro's turn to shine...well, including the new generation's young ace Tetsuo. Waiting for the Ballerina Ninja Leo to come and see his performance however, feels like an exercise in frustration.

As per usual, everyone's eyes are on Tetsuo...but the unexpected mistakes cropping up one after another in compensation for the amount of hard work (and too much pride and ego), and soon becomes displaced by both the Gymnastics Samurai and others. Form and precision shapes a gymnast the way forward with emotions.

Didn't expect rapper and former gymnast Tomoki to excel as well. 13 years...WHAT THE HECK LOLS, so much time has passed but you still got the skills down. Iru al la infero!

The episode's highlight is easily Jotaro's return to form as Japan's Samurai. And Tetsuo bounded by THAT much pressure throws him off his solid ground and with it, the loss of focus. THIS BOY HAS KNOWN NO FAILURE, YET HE STILL PERSISTS.

Oh? One of Leo's agents helping Rei out to break his shell of expectations, that's a nice gesture. But seeing Leo so dejected, yet hopeful of the encouragement he got from Jotaro and others, this is his Final Call to make an informative decision, and yet he chose to return back to England to continue his ballet.

Really hoping for a nice reunion in next week's final episode.

Jotaro is doing well whereas Tetsuo isn't. I'm more surprised about Tomoki. That guy has some serious skills.

With one more episode to go, I wonder how they'll end this. I hope there is a season 2 for this.

Tetsuo was distracted by Jotaro and he couldn't perform well, I hope the 2nd day goes better for him. I don't want Leo to leave Rei but I can't disagree with his decision.

Let's go Jotaro, show minamino what you are made of. Hopefully Minamino is still distracted and performs badly next time because I really want to see Jotaro win. Leo better come to watch, there has to be a way for it to work out.

Well, its the tournament already. Its time for the nice competition among a great gymnast! But, man, why Leo, why you didn't come? The samurai was looking for you, before something bad happened xd. Such an emotional episode, under the rain. I hope he got a better decision at the last episode, next week, before this show closed.

And what happened to Minamino was also understandable. He was still a young soul, and that depressing phase was really a nice way for him to be developed well as a solid character. His mentor did a nice approaching was there by not scolding him too much, but still gave a nice strong advice like that, its making him another clear motivation to further away his childish act, on that day. Lets see how well his changed after those event.

Well, to be surprised, another side character like Tomoki had his special moment too. Love, eh? I believed its giving him so much encouragement, and its successfully hit! That 'go to hell' line was also funny. Yeah, he was stupid. But, i am still hoping its delivered well to you, Ayu. Lol.

Okay, onward to last episode!

I feel like Leo is just making up excuses :/ I like him, but he could have watched the tournament before he goes back to England since he still had time. He's been a huge support to Joe, so why? :(

Not to be mean, but I felt satisfyed to see Minamino have a taste of failure. Nobody's perfect and we shouldn't get too cocky believing we can always win. There will be those kind days that we are not at our best and this proves showing exactly the moment we've been waiting for. Minamino's a good gymnast, but not this time :P

Also, great episode! Joe is nailing it for the win and I'm rooting he could win this battle with a gold medal :)

SO I was wrong and didn't realize this competition would only have Japanese gymnasts. Guess I wasn't paying attention.

So Tetsuo didn't do as well as he wanted to. Nothing too surprising. I mean, he's still so young, sometimes these guys cave under pressure and underperform.

I wonder of this will play out where Tatsuo will somehow still win gold at the end and Jotaro getting silver or something.

that last minute character development with that green-haired guy who raps when he talks felt so pointless. His character has hardly added anything to the anime so far, but I guess they wanted to throw that in while also giving that girl who works at the bar some purpose as being a love interest.

Although honestly, the rest of the side characters barely were given anything to do in this anime. The grandma was just kinda there, expect for passing on some advice/wisdom in a few instances in past episodes. The Acupuncture guy was just another one dimensional Okama caricature

no comments on Leo, I'm assuming he'll still show up to see Jotaro perform.

But with just one episode left, I have a feeling everything is gonna be very rushed and maybe end on an unsatisfying note. I can't imagine this getting a second season either. I think if the 2020 Summer Olympics had still happened, this anime might have been more popular? Although I have no idea how this has been received among Japanese audiences....

I've been so mixed on this anime. It certainly isn't terrible, it's just been barely above average to me

I really liked this episode and it was nice to watch that Joutarou did well in his competition although i feel like his foot is going to cause him trouble in the final. Will he be able to make that 4 salti?
Also i totally loved to see Leo‘s other side. He totally gave up his Ninja role and i felt like we could see the „real“ Leo. Even his way of talking was different and he used „boku“ instead of „sessha“. Even tho he acted cold I expect him to come to watch Joe in the final.

Great episode, fuck there's only one episode left. I feel like there's still much more they could with this show, But we'll see how the last episode will handle things. The samurai is back, it's great to see Joe do well in the tournament. Kind of feel bad for Minamino though, but it's needed for development.

I hope Leo changes his mind and decides to watch Joe before he goes back to England, looking forward to the last episode.

Damn, Joutarou had such a fantastic first day with his performances. Now let's hope his ankle doesn't condition him in the finals since I really want to see his new Aragaki at full display.
Props to his friend Takizawa as well, by the way. I didn't know he could be this skillful.

I appreciate how easy it is to root for Joutaro. He's not like overpowered-- he has the skills expected of someone who was Japan's representative, yet due to his rust (?), you don't know exactly what's going to happen. He has a glaring human flaw which is pretty much him being so focused on training and gymnastics that's he's kinda sacrificed the people around him, BUT they've made him acknowledge that which is really good. It would be cool if they had it be something that he had to keep working on, but at least there was that.

Meanwhile, I wish they had given Tomoki more important and meaningful attention before his shining moment came. It makes it seem like the creators suddenly put in something that makes us care more about him as an afterthought when they actually could have made him an interesting character from the beginning.

My heart... I can't take this. I want Leo to do what makes him happy and even though he said he wants to go back to the Ballet Company, he still looks so sad. It's obvious that his journey in Japan isn't over yet; he still needs the Aragaki's & they still need him just as much.

Ayu is shown wearing a military Cabot watch company field watch in this episode, which may mean that her family has a military history, or that she's just an otaku judging by the martial arts shown a few times too. https://i.imgur.com/8wpEo06.png https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0923/4522/products/15411_2048x.jpg?v=1582719916

Jotaro sure knows how to impress the audience with his experience and his performance as he ends up at the top position at the end of the first day. Looks like Leo's going back to England and he won't be here for Jotaro's performance.

Looks like the anime went full predictable, for example Tetsuo losing to Jotaro, Jotaro being OP cuz the plot demands it, the generic partner of Joutaro and his random romance.

Good to see after all the hard work the Samurai Jotaro is able to make a comeback, but suprising to see Minamino make one mistake after the other. Even more suprising is to see Takizawa scoring so high.
