Cute, even this show celebrates Halloween and for the occasion, we got a lot of adorable moments coming from the casts. Those vampire style outfits...

The city at this time of the year looks to be filled with fun and excitement. I also find it quite charming they even got the mascot of their show for the occasion. Quite a creative episode.

This should be aired last month not today, I think the staff could take the liberty here to do that so it's gonna be 5/6 episode instead of 6/6.

but there's biiig BUT.. this episode had magical moments especially in the second half, Cocoa got send to another world and Chino's mom appears. There's also many funny skit worth a screenshot but I'm just to lazy to do it. in addition to the fact in personal level that gogoanime subbed this so early and perfectly timed during half-time break of football.

So yeah All in all a perfect episode, full of enjoyment and back to 6/6. Now back to Chelsea's game
I'm too weird to live but much too rare to die.

Late by a month it seems but it was a nice episode so that was a good thing.
And Chino's mother finally had a appearance both in ghost form and in flashback, it's nice to see her care for her daughter like that.
See also helped out Cocoa who got lost ones again.

The girls helping out Chiya was nice of them since she was injured.

This episode was even cuter than the previous episodes.

I thought the magician looked like Chino's mom, the scene at the end kind of confirmed that. I don't know how that happened but I'm not going to think hard about it, it was a cute and great episode.

Halloween time!

I wanna join the Chiya witch cult too...

So we see Chino's mom once again and the flashback made me a little sad...but it's good to see Chino is very happy to see the same magic trick again.

A cute Halloween episode, really loving the decorations all over town and the outfits everyone had on. Chiya was the best though, she was so spirited eventho she injured herself. She made good use of that bandage as well!

Again more glimpses of Chino's mum. I swear the mystery around her is incredible. I want to know about her and what happened. To see that Cocoa managed to remind Chino of her mum is always a good thing. Always remember the good things of your loved ones!

I wonder who the rabbit that was with Chino's mother is. Her trick was most definetely a message to Chino. The rest of the ep was fun too with the cute werevolves and 3 Lapins, but that scene with Cocoa learning a trick was the highlight.

Highlight of my week. Damn that OP is catchy as hell.

It would've been nice if this were timed for closer to Halloween but I suppose that's probably hard to do? Do you reckon we'll get a Christmas episode? That'd be cute.

Chiya loves doing food/drink Russian roulette. It backfired on her last time - remember the episode with the green juice when they were washing clothes? I liked the callback to the training that they did for the recital: CAFFE LATTE! CAFFE MOCHA! CAPPUCINO!

This episode wasn't quite as brilliant as the last few imo but it was still very good.

Yay! A Halloween episode... although at the time of release it's getting on to be Christmas... it's fine though, because this episode was so bloody cute!

The bat wings on Tippy was so adorable- god everyone's outfits were so adorable. I imagine some of their Halloween outfits this episode will be turned into figures or something.

Oh god, those feels in the second half sure got me good ;_; Cocoa interacted with the spirit of Chino's mom and the flashback at the end almost made me tear up.

Overall, another fantastic episode with a perfect balance between funny (Chiya was acting so devoutly to the Halloween cause lol) and heartfelt moments. Particularly, Rize reminding Chino of her training for the recital made me smile so hard since I personally think the caffe latte, caffe mocha, cappuccino~ line is among Chino's most adorable moments.

It's halloween time (despite the event was last month)! The time where cute girls cosplaying begins! The episode is great, except the part where the pumpkin kid insult Cocoa-chan. But it's still acceptable for me.

It looks like Cocoa-chan first met Chino-chan's mother (now is a ghost) and is a real magician! It's totally give us heartwarming vibe for the second half!

My thoughts on the episode:
This gives me Tonari no Kyuuketsuki vibe. Cocoa cosplaying as vampire is so adorable.
Chiya cosplaying as a witch and gives us Chuunibyou anime vibe. "Reality be rent. Synapse break. Banishment, this world!"
Poor Chino-chan! Her position has been taken by Chiya-chan!
I'm so jealous! I want to hug Chino-chan!
My favorite catchphrase "Oneechan ni Makasenasai~!"

Hmm, it really is kinda weird when they show halloween episode near the end of November. But hopefully we will get christmas episode right on time. ๐Ÿ˜†

Here's my fav moments of the episode:
Cocoa the Mohumohu Vampire ๐Ÿ˜ˆ
Chiya act Chuuni to hide the fact that her hand is hurting ๐Ÿ˜

The new ChiMaMe-tai (Chiya-Maaya-Megu). And Chino-chan felt left out ๐Ÿ™ƒ
Chino-chan is really afraid that her grandpa will pass on ๐Ÿ˜ข
I actually really wonder how chino's grandpa somehow swap body with tippy after he died?

Halloween might've been last month, but I can forgive GochiUsa for that, as this Halloween-themed episode was a blast. =3

If I listed all the cute moments that this episode had, then my post would be a glorified wall of text, so I'll try and condense it as best as I can. Anyways, Maya and Megumi with their cat/fox outfit was incredibly cute, Chiya really pulls off the witch look, especially with the bandage that she had with the Ama Usa An logo on it.

Not to forget, Rize looked awesome in her policewomen outfit, but she went even better than that by outfit swapping with Sharo to become the phantom thief Lapin. God damn, those thighs and short skirt are an unbeatable combination! X3

However, I wasn't expecting the last part of the episode to be rather emotional. Not only did the spirit of Chino's mother help Cocoa finally master her magician spells, but the flashback that Chino had of her mother, as well as when she was clutching Tippy with a worried face almost made me tear up.

I wonder if we'll get a Christmas-themed episode early or at the very end of this season, which would be better timing. Either way, as long as an episode focused on Christmas actually happens, I'll be happy. ^_^

Sweet! Halloween theme at the usagi town, no exception for all girls. They surely won't get those event vanished without having fun! Cocoa and her vampire costume, she just loved to cuddle a cute thing, not their blood! Hah, Chino and her tsundere habit at its best. Poor Rize got biten by an angry cute little vampire °><

Mame went to visited the others cafe. Sharon looked adorable at those red hood outfit. She certainly loved meat even though they were in the middle of candy event. Lol. Chiya? Well, she was always eccentric. Her cafe and its menu was just a full blown, a lot of effort to put all of those decoration, made it looks like the real witches manor. Nice! The interaction between Mame insanely good. Mame's trick by fighting surely tricked Chiya and me too! Ah, a usual russian roullette but failed Chiya. She always got unlucky but never try to stop at once! Then, they talked about a summoning act. Chiya succeeded to made the impossible became a reality. Rize and Sharon come helped her, until the day has been set off. Sweet!

The next day, its Cocoa and Chino came to visit. The witch and the vampire were sure a nice cohorts! New Chimame corps xD. Chino felt betrayed. But Chiya onee-sama came to calm her down. But, as the result now Cocoa was the one that needed to calm down. Lol. What a nice conversation between all of them, as always, as expected coming from the girls. Next part!

Ah, the next part was kinda emotional. Because its included a certain spirit that arrive to give Chino the past vibes. Oh well! Don't be sad, girl. You always had Cocoa onee-chan to help you feel better! Lapin outfit at Chino was great. Rize at Lapin outfit was adorable. But Sharon at police costume was another level of cuteness. I think those outfit was too big for her. Lol >°<. I never even expected Cocoa to be even crying. Those pumpkin kid became too mean. These episode really something for me, full of unexpected event. Lol. Gladly, Chino's mom came to cheer Cocoa and showed one then two tricks to satisfied Chino at the end. Well said. This is a very relaxing episode, as expected from GochuUsa....

Man, I was not expecting that at all. I thought this was just going to be a standard "celebrate Halloween" episode (though, saying that, anime doesn't commonly celebrate Halloween as far as I can recall), but pulling that emotional sucker punch with Chino's mother really caught me off-guard. Lovely little twist, great use of the Halloween setting and just a sweet episode overall, definitely the best of this third season so far.

Well, there was a bunny girl costume... And "Lapin" is technically rabbit-related (in French).

I'm surprised the town mascot Kigumin never showed up, it did in the manga!

It was real. Saki's spirit did came back to earth, comfort Cocoa and watch over her family as well. In the early scene it said that Halloween also the day spirits came back to earth.

Cocoa is the only one who saw Saki. And she didn't see what was really happening at the time such as the crowd of people that was there all along.

Figured I should post this here: a more insightful and more correct discussion of episode seven where the author does not make any assumptions, unlike the Doki Doki Visual post, which is error-filled.

Specifically, Cocoa does encounter Saki's ghost and she's not in another world: the entire scene, not just the lookout over town, is cast with a gentle border gradient. No, Cocoa was not hallucinating or anything, either; this scene was deliberate to drive home a different idea. It's not mysterious, just well-written.

I loved the episode. I liked how the entire town was celebrating Holloween and the costume everyone had (both the main characters and the people in town). I had a feeling that the person that helped Cocoa was Chino's mom, and when she looked at Chino instantly confirmed it for me. Didn't the anime talk about how she died or was it not talked about? It was sad, but also a happy moment.

I wish Chino's Mom could have stayed longer, but Halloween only happens one day a year.

Also, Chino's Mom dress very well as a magician.

Halloween episode. Chino the cute vampire :) . Gao!

Chiya as witch kinda reminds me Little Witch Academia. With her hairstyle she looked pretty similar to Akko.

Three girls (Chino, Syaro and Chiya) dressed as Lupin (Syaro just wanted to save money and just wear her costiume from work, the other two just wanted to try it out). And Rize as policewoman. Cue Rize and Syaro switching costumes. Surprisingly with no problem, considering difference between Syaro's and Rize's size.

Cocoa losing her way and trying to cheer up the lost child. Not very effective. Mysterious woman teaches her magic trick. Who is she? That spaced out writer in a costume? Ghost of Chino's mom? Chino's mom flesh and bone? No idea.
