| i been really burnt from love live coming from loving it to dreading it due to the obnoxious qurks of the CGCT elements /character personalities , this was already miles better for the simple fact i didn't instantly hate how any of the girls were talking while early first impressions they seem far more normal and grounded than usual. music is really damn good i had listened to a few of the member singles as they were coming out found them quite well done girls can sing ! also our main girl or girls aren't the super genki type |

| 2 Solo in the first episode, I liked it! Can't wait to hear the opening on the next episode, grab your lightstick for every Sunday from now on! Still, when I look at their school is pretty big right?, compared with Otonokizaka and Uranohoshi. |

| That was a really good first episode, better than the previous generations imo. Setsuna already seems like a potential best girl. |

| Finally, i had a time to catch up this wholesomeness. Here everything started out. A full load of cuteness, as expected. Ayumu when a child really gave me a nostalgic memories with those 'pyon' style. XD Her relations with Yuu just sweet. They were really a good example of a belated couple so far. I just love it, simply full of chemistry. Their first encounters with a school idol of their own school just strange and already established some questions. Even the school idol itself with only one person to performed just weird. It must be something bad happened on them. Was that really like that? Why even those twos not knowing a School Idol already established in one year? Ah right, their damn school was just so huge. Look at those tons of school rooms, with a lot of door rooms at two floors already judged that its obvious reason why they couldn't find her appearance before. But, the reason of a disbandment still unknown. Maybe the next episode would conclude everything? So yeah thats it. Their motivation, their desires, their chance to changed against the brighten future. Its really their fate, a School Idol established their life goals. Such a solid premises to begin with, simple, and straight to the main point. A lot of questions still hanged on. Lets see the next episode to answer some questions on my mind, about their backgrounds, their characterization, their motives, a School Idol disbandment, and such. A very good start, to be honestly. |

| sunrise did a good job for the first episode also the artstyle change is ok but honestly im more preffer with the prev artstyle that apply in muse n aqours, hope all member will be appear again in the next eps , i need more screen time for kanata :^ |

| I got the feeling yuu will try to become an idol and will fail because she got not talent or something and will need to stay in the sidelines. As I see now she wants to be a idol with ayumu but love live 9 members is sacred rule. I don't know about the game but I got a bad feeling. |
| Thank god they're not saving their school from closing this time. First episode is good, we got treated with two performances already and the 3DCG have improved. This one looks interesting, they're school is the Tokyo big sight. And unlike sunshine, it seems that the characters here were not cloned after the original Love Live!. |

| I was wondering how the anime was going to kindle Yuu's and Ayumu's interest in school idols. As someone who's been playing the English School Idol Festival All Stars game since it came out, I'm coming from a perspective where the timeline is all fucked with Muse, Aqours, and Niji being in the same timeline. Using Setsuna to inspire them rather than Muse is a nice alternative that makes plenty of sense. I'm still not quite used to the new art style; feels less vibrant than Sunshine. I'm sure it'll jive with me soon though. I will say, Chase was done quite spectacularly! Anyway, loved the start. From the game, Nijigasaki has easily ascended to my favorite school group between them, Muse, and Aqours, so really hoping this anime does them justice! Sunshine just didn't really do it for me with the premise feeling like a recycled version of Muse's story. |

| Very nice first episode, the songs were amazing and the animation was good aswell. Lets hope this continues being as good as this.  |
| I always feel that idol shows are slow to get going - usually because they have 10+ characters to introduce and you can't feasibly do that in one episode - but this was a solid start all things considered. All the girls were introduced in succinct and effective ways, and we have seem to have a decent mix of personalities so far. Beyond that, the decision to frame performances as more like music videos - rather than just showing the dancing and the song alone - really gives the songs a lot more life and makes them stick out much more, while also creating a strong contrast between idol scenes and the mundane school life. Also, that scene at the stairs was just very pretty in general due to the lighting. We'll see how things play out and develop, but so far I'm liking the look of this. |
| So much sweet Yuri ...YEEEEEES My little lesbians was giving each other compliments and holding hands!! Telling each other they wanna be together for ever,,,YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! It was super cute and so gay. Love Live never disappoint when it comes to the Yuri. Great episode and I cant wait for the other lesbians to join the ranks.Looking forward to next week  |

| LL's first episodes are usually nothing out of the ordinary for me, everything played out like I was expecting. Yuu was much more lively than I had thought she would be though; not really liking her design tbh. Looking forward for Kasumi. I liked Ayumu's song better, even animation-wise. Idk if the site I was using was bad or what, but Setsuna's song looked like trash: even laggy at times (it reminded me of Houseki no Kuni). The cgi was too good though, barely noticeable |

| i'm no longer a Love Live fan so this spin-off is a pass for me welp changed my mind i watched the show earlier and it was a nice diversion since the Muse and Aquors era of LL and the spin-off was nice too and my fandom for LL got me back again |

| The CG animation has improved so much since Sunshine, Chase! looked amazing and it was great to finally see the second part of the song get animated. The new song by Ayumu was a nice surprise but we need to see more of best girls Ai and Shizuku |
| Who's Yuu? lmao our point of view from the game was made into a chara. Setsuna is cool pretty type. I played the game for a bit but I didn't expect her to be the first one to sing in this anime. Ayumu is so adorable.  |

| New Love Live makes my life have purpose again. Chase is my favorite solo song from the Niji girls and the visuals with Setsuna singing was literal fire. Another seitokaichou disagreeing on having a school idoru club, you can predict what happens next in this familiar pattern. lmao As always, Kanata is sleeping. |

| first screen i see ... "bandai visual" me : bandai? what does this have to do with this anim- setsuna stage me : omg, its aikatsu stage! LoL now for what i think for this ep 1 : - I dont know why, but i think yuu is a gender-bender version of every main male in every harem anime. she show her expresion of boys face. also in twin tail hair, try erase her twin tail, she became a boy. lol - damn, yuu and ayumu are soo close that i think what they did is like a couple. - Rina without board... just like i thought, she doesnt have an emotion. meaning she dont know how to smile, angry, happy etc - for ai... she not in the same class with ayumu and yuu? at least what i see here but okay. this episode not even close if you compare this with sifas. so i'm treating this version in different way but with same love. |

| Wow, that was absolutely fascinating. I remember loving SIP and Sunshine very much and have been excited about the Nijigasaki anime for a long time. I'm so glad things started so great. Ayumu and Yu have a lot of chemistry and the other girls seem different enough from the old 18 to keep things fresh. The new art style is amazing as well. I'm in. |

| Love Live was pretty bad to me. Nico is one of the worst character I've ever seen, dances were ugly, dialogues were cheesy and inconsistent. But.. here it was like another anime, pretty good dialogues (still cheesy), beautiful renders, improved dances, I don't have the usual LL feeling, it was far better. So I will try this one ! |

| This is honestly what Sunshine should have been from a start - a new fresh take on Love Live franchise with emphasis on the characters instead of copy-paste original show with constant tiring µ's references. For that reason Sunshine never stood on its own. I have some hopes for this, from the first episode it's already better than Sunshine and while some parts were needlessly overanimated and the pathos in the end was too much, I generally like those two girls now. I'm glad they are taking their time to draw their backstories. I only hope everything won't fall to the same plot twists as again. But NOT HAVING another group of nine, split into 3x3 group with copy-paste archetypes is already big step forward. Also - lol at their school actually being Big Sight :DD |

| Late post, but this first episode was incredible. I like how this anime gives a fresh start instead of the usual "idols save their school" thing. Ayumu Uehara is the main member of NijiGaku, but she isn't actually a main protagonist, & she isn't a genki type of girl like Honoka and Chika. Also, I love Emma Verde! |

| As a huge love live fan this episode 1 was decent i say nothing spectacular. Probably the weakest ep 1 in all love live but this set characters were pretty likeable, also great characters designs. The story is good thankfully they change the format like from previous series because the group was established already but they break apart and these 2 (Ayumu and Yuu) will probably get them back. So far my most favorite character is Yuu chan then Kasumi Ayumu is not an energetic type like Honoka and Chika Also i like to point out why they change the format of the ED they should keep it to feel the same Love Live vibes from previous series ehhh |

| I forgot this series started... Cause apparently the place I usually watch anime on didn't upload any of this series (had to go to another site) Well, just watched episode 1 and I already like it. Now to watch the other 3 episodes I missed... lol ___ ___ ___ I really like the Short-Twin-Tailed hair girl, she feels really down to earth and can be funny at time while being a great friend. She feels like a older Azunya from K-ON, I miss that series... |
