| For what it was worth this was quite the nice ending for this arc and I also think this is pretty much the way they wanted to end this series for as far the original manga went at this point. Still wonder what the last episode will have to offer and I'll be sure to post my comments regarding this version of HxH in that thread! |

| Damn that parting song with Gon and Killua saying goodbye really reminded me of how far we've gotten. I can't believe there's only 1 episode left The existential left turn at the start though with the Koala was... interesting. I like how Kite manipulated him to get revenge for the girl he killed, helped the Koala get redemption, AND got a lifetime slave out of it in the end though lol |
| Next week it's finally over! I cried over Hunter x Hunter for three years and next week will be no different. This journey has been a fulfilling one. |

| As much as I don't like Gon, I must admit his friendship with Killua is great. The final scene and the ending credit with their story is amazing. Now that Gon found Ging and Killua had his goal, they parted. It's beautiful yet sad. I wonder where the story will go on from now and how they will involve Killua in the future. I heard that the story is not that far from the anime and in hiatus like forever, so we may never find out lol. |

| Wasn't really a big fan of Koala taking up a third of the episode for his monologue but Gon's managed to get his feelings across to Kite at last and that's great! I've realized that Ging running away like the irresponsible father he is always leads to Gon going on these amazing adventures and meeting amazing people along the way. I'll have to give him credit for that. It initially looked like it'd be a casual farewell between Gon and Killua but deep within, they're really sad that they have to part ways for now. Seeing them frown a bit as they head towards their next but separate destinations was already bittersweet enough but Reason suddenly playing and their whole journey together showing up in a nice little slideshow was too much on the feels, man. I can't believe that this is where it ends... |

| The Koala monologue was way too long. The inseparable combi is finally separated. The memories on the credit were interesting and almost got me once again in the feels. Will they met again ? Only if Togashi is able to write more. |

| taking advantage from the koala's guilt and forcing him to become his servant/slave for the rest of his live was a pretty extreme move from kite. it's not like the koala killed him or anything. he just happened to look like the girl he shot down. the ending really caught me by the feels. gon and killua are bros for life. |

| This episode brings me back to when Gon and Killua first started their journey. Gon wanted to see his father, Killua had no idea what he wants so while he tries to find what he truly wants he helps Gon along the way. Now Killua finally has something he wants. Protect his sister. I got a flash trip down memory line as he said that to Gon in this episode. What a journey it has been. I know the anime is unlikely to continue but I'm happy with what we've got. Now hopefully next episode wont end with a stupid cliffhanger... |
| Well... I guess they're departing now. I'm not very happy about it but that's what life is all about. :'( Killua and Gon will always be best friends. More like brothers. Also, nice to see Kite and now Gon is going to the top of the World Tree. |

| What can I say? Gon and Killua are easily one of the most fun and awesome duos I've seen in anime. They've changed and grown so much!!! So the next episode's the finale eh? Looking forward to it!!! |

| Deep stuff with Mr. Koala and Kite, the meaning of the soul and how people regret their decisions wanting to repent. People always so they want to do the right thing but at times it's so much simpler to take the easy route so massive respect to Koala for actually following through. Cute af picture with the three of them! That ending hit hard though, seeing them part ways hit hard. Fitting they re-used this ED song with the memories too! |
