Oh boy, they're not holding back for this season's finale especially Pecorine. This is one of the few emotional moments we see coming out of her.

Seems they made the finale as climatic as it can be with the conflict against that shadow monster.Yuuki also showed his bravery in that fight. I also have to say that the trust and bond between Pecorine and the cast carries a long way. Even Kokkoro has grown very close to her as a friend. A fantastic anime imo, one of the dark horses of this season.

Is this what is called family? Eustiana was very beautiful wearing that dress. I want to know how it feels to be forgotten by everyone including parents. Passing by a guard like that is easy for Eustiana, Are you being a princess just for food? oh shit.

I like the scene where Eustiana cries, Kokoro hugs Eustiana and the soundtrack is very good, I get this atmosphere of sadness. Kyaru tried to fight the black shadow.

Yuuki's power is so awesome, the sword glowed. The last attack defeated the monster, they seemed to be worried by everyone. At least it's closed with delicious hamburgers.

When Kokkoro hugged Pecorine, Kokkoro's hug was filled with emotions.

Yuuki looks cool in this episode, he defeated that monster, and that made him cool.

overall, 8/10

Just had to watch this TWICE in pure Japanese RAW, what a wild ride, and definitely an unforgettable finale.

Pecorine's lost past: a lost princess. To which Kokkoro had found out by chance, that Pecorine comes from a prestige royal family line: the von Astraea family (to which Pecorine was called Eustiana back then). The only princess of a daughter who seeks out on a journey for food, good golly.

But soon, the memories were all but forgotten of Pecorine's existence within the palace, not even her parents recognising her is a punch to the gut...turns out that Karyl's Master turned her world upside down to where she is right now.

Despite that though, her time spent with Yuuki, Kokkoro and Karyl are times that are not forgotten, not as Eustiana, but plainly as Pecorine. That hug from Koro-ster to Pecorine is just about the sweetest thing of recognition *bring those onion tears down!*

The truth set in stone, for Yuuki whose memories flow back to him: his powers, the reasoning for his existence, and the eradication of the Shadows, to save the world once and for all. Not at all surprised that the other guild members showed up for the final battle though, quite common (though that's as much as cameos will go).

Karyls's self-redemption to attempt a suicidal pact from all the turmoil of being used by the Shadows, and Pecorine and Kokkoro's interference at the right time, plus Yuuki's wake-up call to action to fulfill his destiny and fight alongside the Gourmet Guild in strong trust and unbreakable bond.

AHH finally, the game's ED! Been waiting for this song to show up for a good ending, and here it is in full glory.

All's well that ends well, what a journey. Definitely gonna miss this show!

Man, what a beautiful and wholesome way to end the series. This was a really sweet episode. The animation quality was also insane throughout, wow. Cygames did a great job with this.

Pecorine’s big reveal is really sad. That woman who’s replaced her also has connections to Yuuki’s past as well. Would’ve loved to get more answers, but of course with these types of adaptations, they want you to play the game. They got me. I’ll miss this show.

Surprisingly one of the better shows this season 7/10.

I think it would be a fine episode for the middle of the series or something, but it didn't really work that well as a season finale for me.
When you think about it, nothing all that important really happens. We get the "reveal" that Pecorinne is the real princess, but everybody watching already knew that. Yuuki gets his party buff powers back, but I'm not really sure why they were gone in the first place, especially seeings as he has already used them a couple times in the series.
Nightmare stands around and talks a bit, but don't really do anything. Kind of feels like they show up just to meet the new episode = new characters quota.
And ultimately, all they really did was beat some rando shadow monster. The bad guy could just throw another silly mask on another shadow if they wanted to, so nothing has really been solved. It's like they are doing everything they can to move the story forward without moving the story forward.

That backstory was amazing, felt bad for Pecorine she went through a lot. We got more info on Yuuki backstory too, so that fox bitch was behind this incident too damn.

The team fight was pretty good, good to see them fight together once again. With all this great development in the finale I want season 2 asap.

This anime was the best surprise for me in this season. I was expecting some random game adaptation but nope this turned out to be a really fun anime.

I wanna play the game now to know more about the story but too bad no english translation yet. Hopefully Cygames will decide to release the game globally soon.

Good final Episode to end the season. Got to see some emotional moments in the show. I wonder who's the glasses lady but we'll see about that.
The final verdict of the show for me is:
Visuals and Animation wise, it was an excellent anime.
Characters wise, it was okay.
Story wise, meh. Like the story was the only thing that IMO was bit lacking in the show. I guess it was adapted out of a mobile game. So, not that many complaints on it.
Character designs were adorable overall during the show. One thing, there's just one guy in the show. I mean the main MC. They should've added at least one other male character in there. But it's fine. In the end, it was a good Show.

Considering that Granblue has a second season (and that they ended with hints of a third) and Shingeki no Bahamut also had a second season, it is only a matter of time until they announce the second season of Princess Connect

Damn, that was one visual feast of a battle there to end the anime off with.

Confirmation of Pecorine's royal lineage and Yuuki's time-travel attempts, as well. Latter was an interesting twist last episode but I could smell the former for a while now, to be honest. Pretty good backstory nonetheless, I'm just curious on how the two intersected in previous timelines more than anything else I suppose.

Kokoro-chan consoling and then Karyl-chan calling it quits for the impostor was really nice to watch and interesting developments at the same time. I wonder who exactly the lady with the object manipulation (Suwashiro Miyuki's character, I'm guessing) is though.

A little disappointing that the whole climactic battle ended up with a mere pawn so here's hoping for a 2nd Season to see the main dish.

Nice little final couple of minutes of the team making a sudden return, by the way. And that hug! All in all, a sweet finale. I'm a little sad that we didn't get to see that Devi-girl who's the got the hots for Yuuki having a cameo...

Overall, it's been a fine show, in my opinion. Comedy was hit-or-miss for the most bit but it is the main character staleness that was honestly a drag. We got like one proper sentence/question at the very end there which was felt like a long time coming xD.

Story-wise, it was so-so and the Characters fairly fun to keep with. Animation-wise, however, is where this show really shined and that too gloriously. Vibrant use of colors and bonus of a montage-worth of facial expressions, lol.

Good things:
- Extremely likable characters (or waifus), just like in the game
- Animation
- Comedy/SoL moments
- One of the best mobage-to-anime adaptations among many mediocre ones
- Reuse of game ED at the last moment

Bad things (main points I want to rant):
- Forcing the main plot down our throat with just 2 last episodes, leaving only hints here and there with no actual answers (basically "go play the game" ending). I still think it'd be better to not touch it at all instead of teasing it like that.
- No Season 2 announcement (yet)
- No Carmina and Caon despite being in the OP (gimme my idols!!!!!), killing off Twinkle Wish
- Too much Kazuma and ugly mobs
- CG Jun

Overall 8/10, reduced from 9 after completing, mostly because of the ending that looked like it bit more than it can chew. Still much better than Azur Lane. Now waiting for the very possible 2nd season.

this entire season is actually just prologue of story of original game which this anime is based on, for plot-wise, I can guarantee next season will be much better, only if they are adapting the first act of the game properly...(for now.. lets wait and see..)

8/10. Fun characters, really good animation, and just overall way better than it probably should've been. Plot was a bit generic but executed really well. I really wish they'd add English to the game. Really was one of the most fun anime of the season, and being fun is the entire point. I want to see the next journey!

NOOOOO! I didn't want this to end!! :(

So the truth about Pecorine comes to the surface and that was a pretty sad backstory, to think that Kyaru's master (if she still can be called Kyaru's master) was behind that as well, that everyone forgot about the real Eustiana and taking her place.

They definitely know how to end the season strong, that battle was pretty great and animation was amazing again!

That warm PecoKyaru embrace though, my heart melted!

Overall:
What a ride... It's save to say that this was definitely my hidden gem of the season. It wasn't even on my list when it started!

Not what I expected storywise, really loved the setting but the story was a bit all over the place, going from Slice of Life to Action/Adventure.. So Story could have been done better, but personally I think the Animation and Characters definitely made up for that!

Bless this show for what it has given me these past 13 weeks in the difficult times with Corona!

9/10, I need a 2nd Season, need more best girl Kyaru!!

Fun series. Nothing spectacular but nice animations, with a smidge of fan service that didn't go over the top. Not a Death Note-esque level of plot, but interesting turn of events, nonetheless.

I most certainly wouldn't mind a 2nd season, although I suspect this was largely just a single cour plug for their mobile game.

The beginning of this anime excited me but the episodes in the middle really just felt like filler. The end more than redeemed the other episodes for me. This series has its ups and downs but I think that's kind of its charm.

Poor Pecorine, having to go on a long journey only to return to a place where people don't remember you including your own parents is a very painful experience. I wanted to give Percorine a hug the same way that Kokoro and Kyaru did. The anticlimactic ending was typical for a game adaptation and I'm hoping that Cygames would bring this game overseas because I would like to play it some day. I doubt that this series get a second season, but that depends on whether this anime does well overseas.

I'm glad I took a chance on this series and I give it a 7/10.

After 13 episodes, Princess Connect! Re:Dive comes to an end. For this episode, the show's trademark comedy is largely dropped in favor of poignant character moments and an epic action setpiece, and if you ask me, it was a nice change of pace. The show didn't need to get dark and gritty for its finale, it just needed to be more serious and intense than normal. The characters come to terms with their identities and mutual bonds and come out stronger and better from their experiences.

In my opinion, Princess Connect! Re:Dive ended on its best possible note. I know that anime adaptations of smartphone games aren't exactly popular in the anime community, but that's because so very few of them are done right. I wouldn't call this particular show a masterpiece, but it certainly did right more than it did wrong. I'm not sure if there's gonna be a second season, but I sure hope so.

A solid end to me with their happy end. Unfortunately, it seems that they had no time to resolve the problem on Landosol kingdom and their forgetfulness. The impostor beast that controlled the whole kingdom was still unknown her identity, such a shame. But its fine to me, since overall they kept circling around to their objective: studying delicious food. I even shocked they had a guts to make something great on this end, by revealing the past of Pecorine and Yuuki. The storyline and characterization sections increased so much by that fact. Especially, at the last moment, Karyl finally be able to accepted her friendship with Pecorine. And Kokkoro had a great time spent to her master. I think its nice and very good terms to me. Congratulations.

The end credit role was indeed a great marked too. Its referring the whole girls cast on this show, its so relaxing watched them all in a good terms. Maybe the casts had more than that in quantity. But so far its enough to me, while in the mean game time, the number of the girls appearance seem had more than this. Its an okay decision and give more interesting to the game itself. Congratulations.

What else? Ah, the art quality was no doubt. The sounds so far in an okay conditions, while adding a great execution by some matter. Absolutely amazing, the great scores to my respect. I kinda take my whole credits for these to sections. So, yeah, its obvious that those twos had a great impact for the overall scores from me. Thats it, then. I make it simple as usual, the mean rate for this show:
Story : 8 (it will be good if they take a lot effort to solved the princess impostor too)
Art, Animation : 9 (No doubt from me)
Sounds, OST, effects : 8 (thats enough overall)
Characterization : 7 (Yuuki had a lot improvement. But still lack my interest to him. So, 7 must be enough)
Enjoyment : 9
Overall : 8.2 / 10
Thats it for this little show. Maybe i take a peek to their game for showing continuations. So far its good enough, so, another continuations cour of anime was not necessary in the near future.

O man... the feels

Especially deep, since it's on a character that's been shown since the beginning to be the most cheerful...

Who knew Peco's life was ruined by that cray-cray fox lady (who apparently is also revealed to be the reason for Yuuki's Re:Dive and amnesia, since he got defeated and she won...)

I want to give Peco a GIANT HUG right now too...

Deym. Peco really proves she's the real princess Eustania. And it saddens me that she's been forgotten by everyone including her parents. That fox bitch ruined her life and also defeated Yuuki and his mates. Props to Kyaru for staying with them and they reunited and help defeat the boss.

I've first known this series because of the game and fanarts. Sadly, there's no english version of the game. So I was happy they announced a anime series.

Definitely an enjoyable somoewhat light hearted fantasy series. With lots of light hearted and funny moments. It also have some great visuals and animation quality It looks so good to watch.

this has been an enjoyable ending. Pecorine has a tragic experience, everyone in the castle has been brainwashed. The main evil not yet defeated, so if sales are good maybe we get a season 2. :)

I will be hoping for another season to finish the story but the scores is too low. From the 1st episode to the last, it was quite enjoyable.
I'd also liked to see the former brethren of Yuuki in the picture and the new casts in this episode but I forgot it was the last while enjoying watching it. My bad.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.
