It's really too bad Melida's mana problem is the center of all this. Seems this episode is more of a buildup for the rest of the series. At least Melida is using what she's learned from Vampir in her fights now. Even her moves are mirroring his. |

| Why does everyone want to make Melida's life hard? What did she ever do to them? :( OST and small fight sequence at the end against those skeletons were nice. Melida's outfit was very cute. Also, if there are any source readers, how does the anime compare to LN? |

| The guy who claimed to be Melida's father caused quite a stir, with that blond hair he kinda makes me suspicious. Or it could be some ploy to shake up Felgus. I was eager for the "punishment or reward" wager between Kufa and Melida. Hopefully it's still in effect when they get out of Vibria goat. |

| Great ep, really hate how much people try to shit on this show. I love the dark tones and vibes it gives off, there's always very muted colours and the scenes are almost always inside dark areas. My one issue is, it seems like a monster of the week type set up in which everyone is just out to get merida to prove she's a failure, but there doesn't seem to be much in the way of genuine plot progression or character development. Either way, I love the series. I'm interested in seeing what the maid chicks are up to and why pink haired dude wants to expose Merida? Maybe so he can take her father's place in the hierarchy? |

| Even after the whole ordeal of Rosetti, Melida Angel isn't allowed rest time, as the examination proves that this is just another plot for the nobles to dismiss her as the incompetent one, and instead bring her cousin Elise into the spotlight as the true heir. To make matters worse, outsiders are even fledgling with the amount of issues she has, adding to the burdens. (Erm, Melida's "dad"?) Instead, Kufa has no choice but for her to stand strong and progress without him despite the amount of backlash that she is getting now from both family and others. And the TRUE father of a Duke is aiming to finish her quick by resigning her from school? That's uncalled for to hasten things. Down at the labyrinth exam, it's clear that she's starting to get hold of being competitive through Kufa's training with her, and it shows. But more people showed up to slow her progress... What truly is people defining expectations for Melida? |

| Red flag for Melida's dad. No way she will be separated from Kufa, nor he will be able to change his mind, nor Melida seems strong enough to impress him herself (I mean, she got saved by the "bad guys" that oneshot what she had to 1v1 in minutes, lol) so something will happen. |
