| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Ah, magic experiment that went wrong....that's too bad. It seems Orphen will be discovering how humanity can screw up in their world. I gotta say though, he's actually quite a noble guy, more than I had anticipated with how optimistic he is. |

| I really like Orphen's character, he is a nice guy and op to boot. Their sensei looks suspicious to me, maybe he is behind Azalie turning into the dragon. Well for now they set out to kill Azalie, hope Orphen manages to save her. |

| Pretty much came here for the experience and not the plot itself (which really doesn't make any sense at all). Orphen, having found Azalie in her sorcery form of a dragon, deciding to turn her back to normal...is the first step of the story (I'd guess), meeting up with old teachers and friends raised in the Tower of Fangs (like an orphanage) and rewriting a series of unfortunate events of experiments gone wrong. All old friends, reunited years later to a single cause, but then again, where will this journey bring them? It's a fine episode...but straying too far from the source material... |

| I just can't get into this, idk what it is. DEEN really just struggle to make good shows these days, man. The pacing and backstory just feel really off. I liked the original Orphen back as a kid, but this isn't it. I'll keep watching since blonde is cute and I never drop anything, but man, it's rough. |

| Though it definitely has issues (poor pacing, art/animation is only slightly above average, awkward directing) there's a certain charm from the characters/story that I enjoy. Gonna put this on hold and watch/read the og anime/manga while it airs tho cus I wanna see how different they are. |

| Hehe classroom shenanigans :'D I love the use of Runes and the tiny detail that 'if a Rune's carving isn't deep enough, the spell will only work once'. The pacing's fine...the manga goes WAY slower...but I did buy the first volume so I will post back once I've read it. @phantomfandom It's not a yaoi, dammit. >_> besides Cleophen is OTP |

| Orphen is a pretty endearing character. I like the fact that he gave up everything he had at the Tower because his world was shattered |

| If I go into a coma for 5 years, and then come right out of it, will I be more powerful? I need to do some of that Childman training myself Weird that they'd let him come along, knowing that Orphen will likely do the opposite of them, but oh well |

| Pretty average episode, we know more about Azalie being human but I don't care about her at all. In fact, they could show this part in the first episode as a matter of "importance of their character". |

| In the old adaptation we only got to see Azalie and Hartia, so its interesting to see the other students of Childman. Also interesting how Childman was involved in the experiment with Azalie making Orphen's anger towards him more justified. |
