| I am honestly surprised at how much I enjoyed this episode! I wasn't expecting anything but this first episode really drew me in - the characters (and seiyuu!) are amazing, the art and animation is crisp, and the emotion on the characters' faces are GREAT. I really love how they handled the "inconveniences" of being a demi, even showing how the other girls get kind of awkward when talking about it. I think Takahashi's interviews are going to be really interesting. I already love all the characters that have been introduced so far and I'm really looking forward to watching the next episode! :D Also the OP and ED are really enjoyable to listen to as well. I'm looking forward to learning about the demis with you, Takahashi! :3 |
| That's one lively vampire... And intriguing take on the denizens of myths, a bit less over the top and a bit more down to earth. I guess it will be another lovely slice of life series, with a twist. The character designs are also commendable. |

| i really enjoy the dub here. some pretty unique voices that fit well, especially mc. well first episode overall was genuinly great. didnt expect to enjoy it that much but it sure has lots of cool characters already and the op and ed are lovely. |

| Looks like a cute anime. The succubus teacher was surprisingly shy yet adorable. Hikari looks like a nice and silly yet amusing girl. Her reactions and gestures are cheerful and funny. I like her! Machi was cute, too. Takahashi seems to be an incredibly nice and cool guy. The first episode was very comfy yet entertaining. Promising show, I hope the whole season keeps up. Oh, I almost forgot! That reference to Christopher Lee's Dracula was awesome! I like it when Japanese media has references to Western media. Great! :D |

| I really liked the calm and measured pace of the interview. It really did a good job of showing that while both of them are in no way experts in their own field, talking about it and comparing perspectives helped them learn more about their world. They added a neat little detail in way they showed Hikari immediately suspected Takahashi of being demi-phobic at first. It was a subtle nod to the idea that demi-humans would likely have to deal with the same kinds of societal issues that any other racial group might have to face. |

| I've been meaning to watch this since forever but for some reason something else always gets in the way. Finally, and I think it's a great start. Adorable and nice. Takahashi-sensei looks like a mix of Tadano Hitohito and Sakurai Shinichi. |
